- Alex Horne isn't just a comic and musician -- he's also a formidable opponent when he directly involves himself in a Taskmaster task. Of course, the fact he helps set the tasks probably gives him an unfair advantage, but let's not focus on that. Taken from series 12 of the show, this compilation features Alex Horne versus some of the finest comic minds in the country.

The best outsmarting was in another series when Rhod tied him to a chair and he had to beg to get out. Hilarious.

Morgana was so funny, everyone on series 12 was. I think it's one of the best series since Taskmaster joined channel 4

Alex isn't outsmarted, he's just allowed to have fun haha I love these tasks when he shows a smidge more personality :)
Alex in the background at 2:50 while Guz yells into the caravan is amazing. So tiny in the background - you'd miss it if you blink.

I love that alex moved the spot to 12 yards away from the goal instead of right in front of it

Longer answer - HELL yes and about half the time it's his own fault.
And we love him for it.
Victoria's "oh, no. No, no, no, nooo!" was absolutely hysterical. Especially slowed down.
Morgana yelling "outrageous, outrageous, outrageous!" lives rent free in my head.

I agree, that would have been my technique! No rule against dividing it into little pentagons and stacking them neatly on the spot.
Or moved the football AND it's spot and hidden them (with the ball still on the spot, obvs).
And/or dismantle the goal, tie rope through the bars in the wrong 'order', gaffa tape the bars and the net together.
Right, i would have deflated it and then after every time Alex shot i would throw it over the fence and make him go get it
I was absolutely thinking the best thing would be to stab it and then spend the rest of the time stacking things on it.
if you have to stay away from the ball, then goalkeeping is out of the question
This was such a great series of Taskmaster. Shame it isn't properly represented on the thumbnail.

i find this crew of taskmaster to have a very enjoyable energy
That’s the most exercise I’ve done since high school.
Ball has to be one the spot when he attempts his first kick, doesn't say I can't then just pick up the ball and run to prevent a second!

Surprised no one taped the ball to the spot and then opened the gate, gave it to a passing car. The "you must be 12 yards away when Alex attempts to score" rule would have been circumvented because without the ball he couldn't attempt a goal..... Task broken.
As for the "Strike Alex with a ball" task..... Let's just be glad it wasn't in Phil Wang's series so it actually got to be aired.

Move the spot for the ball.
That's why there is 15 minutes. They figured someone would take the ball and the spot away somewhere. The 15 mins makes me think they thought someone would take the ball and spot away somewhere by car.

Another reason to love Morgana is that she uses proper measurement units 😂 and what’s the 12 on Alex’s shirt all about? Something obvious to people who like football or something obscure like the centurion outfit?

Havent seen much of TM tbh, In live tasks, has anyone just not read the task out for everyone else? Or made the task up to mislead the others? So only they know what the task is?
I suspect Alex would stop anyone who tried.
Joe Wilkinson once rushed his way through the instructions and added a bunch of remarks in between, which ended up costing Richard Osman points as he didn't understand the task properly and got disqualified as a result

I would of parked a car/van in front of the goal, Alex wouldn't be able to move that lol
I'd have popped the ball. Probably takes 4 kicks just to reach the goal.

Very first task is the worst task in the history of taskmaster. One of the rules is Alex can't run. But Alex literally can see where they are going in order to help him run. You literally made the rules, stick to them
"He can't run" doesn't mean "He can't move". He can still jog or power walk and that's totally within the rules.
@@WitchLunaEstrella you're taking running literally. If he is moving in any way that is away from them he is running away from them, whether he is literally running or not.
