as much as i dont want to be an asshole as someone who has been in the same predicament as you and your partner currently rn, and that cycle is something you dont want to feed into. especially with the balancing of RUclips, college, AND irl friends, a relationship, especially a rocky one at that is something you dont need. i know you love them, and im not trying to invalidate your relationship as i know i am a stranger but please dont put that strain on yourself as your partner is just being confusing, it just seems to me youre on a leash and your partner keeps tugging on it, loving then distant the next its just weird. idk, though. im not them, so i cant tell you for certain 😞🙏
I've been overthinking everything lately too. Things have been going alright, I've been seeing my friends more and doing most of the same things I was already doing but I feel weird. Something feels different, I don't know how to explain it. I've also been having doubts about my relationship with my boyfriend which feels really out of the blue because things have been great between us besides the fact he's been a bit distant this week (we're long distance.) I don't know what I'm feeling but i hope i break out of it soon
College is more important though & I know you'll make friends... lots of them 🙏 If love is there it will work itself out.

Hey, Leon - Ian's got this in spades. College and it's requirements is a HUGE adjustment so cut yourself some slack about the uploads and do your best. Managing the complexities of your new college life, your own personal expectations about your YT channel, and a relationship that isn't working out is a ton of stress on a what - 17 year-old guy?! You sharing that teacher giving you your own advice was a HOOT - really laughed over that one! Now, as for finding and living the will of God, if you'll take it from a Christian who has been around the block about that a few times (okay, for 4 times your entire life to date)... Yes it's essential to seek His will daily, but you have to trust He has a hold of you, and if you miss or slip, turn it back over to Him and trust He's got your back! It's called Repentance, not as heavy as it sounds - just letting Jesus set your course adjustments. The God I've gotten to know surrounds time and eternity, and He can step right into your life INSTANTLY, so you'll never have to be ashamed of your past self, or fear living up to your expectations for your future self. Hope that makes sense. If you thought today's post was just a rant, I thought it was GREAT. Gave a lot of insight - so go have your best day tomorrow.

Please don't feel guilty if you can't upload more than twice a week or even once a week! It's okay to take breaks when you need to or prioritize things differently. Keeping a channel going once you start gaining traction can easily wear on your mental health, especially if you've got other stuff going on. Definitely stay more focused on school and the rest of life. The majority of your subscribers will still be here. Take care of yourself, Stud 💚

Don’t worry about not having the time to make and upload content. I’m really happy for you that you’ve got a friendship group you enjoy spending time with and things are going well at college too. The hair looks cool and suits you too. As for the boyfriend thing, I sincerely hope things improve soon. But, if they don’t then I’m sure you’ll find someone else, perhaps at college. It might end up working better if you’re with someone you actually see all the time, rather than someone you mainly have contact with through your phone. Don’t feel pressured to be in a relationship though, especially if you’ve already got a lot of other stuff to deal with. Look after yourself and your mental health.

What is the difference between college and high school? Do you have to select a course of study? We don't understand it in the US
In the UK, for college you pick a certain subject which you take for that course, and then once college finishes you can use it :)
College is typically much more demanding of students time than High School is. The subjects are much more difficult there's usually a lot more homework and studying involved then balancing all of that with social life With Friends maybe getting involved in College organizations and sports and well that doesn't leave too much time left to even sleep much less record and edit videos for RUclips and keep a relationship going.
College is typically 16-18 and often has a more vocational rather than academic focus (but not always). They are equally rigorous. Many will then continue to tertiary education at University (many of which, confusingly, are called colleges but within a University system!).
What’s going on with you and your boyfriend sounds confusing. Considering that you’re both kids (teenagers), he’s probably just as confused as you are. There could be a multitude of reasons why. Maybe he doesn’t know how he’s supposed to act or maybe he’s just not ready for something serious.
I’m glad that your college life is going good! I’m sure things will get better! I can’t promise that things will get any less confusing, but I do know that it gets a bit easier to understand.

There is no need to express our kindness to someone who may misunderstand it. One common, repeated mistake of mine is that I often overthink and overexplain, in order to be more comptehensible and familiar. They just don’t care. The excess effort should be made by them, if and when they want to understand. Not by me and you, as long as we have the right sensor not to bother anyone with our words and actions, as we… as I haven’t harmed neither an ant, and as long as I’m responsible and conscientious enough. I was getting angry when someone someone told me I need a haircut. It’s no one’s business. Also, harming my health was the price I paid for the time i needed to get temporarilly the first place I once in an online game. So no need to overdo it. i deserve happiness. You deserve happiness.

He Leon, this is a really good video - more like a vlog or journal. You are bound to feel stress with things pulling you in different directions. You dont need to do 3 videos a week with college and all.

If you are looking to make new some new acquaintances / friends without 'imposing yourself', consider a generic greeting or comment to the people you sit next to in class. After a week, if they had been responding to the 'greeting', might add a homework related comment (i.e. end of Chapter Questions...), "That homework question #....(1st, 3rd,10th...) was... (too easy, a head scratcher,...), what did you think about that question?" They might give you a confused look. They might give a two/three word reply, or it might start a conversation. As to classmates discovering you have a YT channel... any negative comments they make are most likely a reflection of the self-doubts and reservations they hold about themselves. It's projection of their fear/doubts on to you - more a "...so you're better than me...", and much too often, it is an effective way to drag others down to their level of self-doubt. Maybe practice your responses now, your #'tags are a good set... i.e. "I find YT helps with my mental health goals of self-improvement, self-care and self-help. If you can't relate to that, then don't watch my channel."
Don't worry about not uploading much. If college is your priority now, it's ok.
Also long distance relationships are really hard especially at your age, it happens to everyone.
Just be yourself in these videos you have. People love you already for that.

Hello. Well, here's what will likely be the unpopular comment. As far as relationships go, if you're out of your last relationship, don't get into a new one. You have so much to work on such as your school and your future, the last thing you want to do is have something like a relationship that requires a lot of your time and focus. Plus, as you work on yourself and your future, you learn more about your self and what you want, which can affect who you want to spend you life with. So for now, just focus on yourself. If you feel school is your future, focus on that. If you want RUclips to be your future, then shift some focus there. As far as your decisions go, while I grew up Catholic, I'm not very religious now. I have my reasons. Anyway, whatever you believe is guiding you, God, fate, luck, your own efforts, it would possibly disrupt things if you try second guessing. So my suggestion, and what I do, forget about what path you're supposed to follow and just do what you feel is correct. If you really have a predetermined path, if you make a mistake, I'm confident there will be opportunities later to pull you back to your path. Just keep an open mind and focus on things that move you forward and gets you one more step closer to your goals. If you have multiple decisions, look at which one is more likely to help you achieve your goals. Good luck.

I feel stressed every time I get into a new environment and talk to people I've never known before, even though I'm an adult and have a job. And I remember that college is just usual stress multiplied by a hundred. Good luck finding your own way of living this life. Still love your nice voice and beautiful eyes. I'm 10 years out of college, back then I had to manage friend groups, new people, relationships, my future, studies, home life as well, it's the area of your life where your studing towards a goal, instead of in school where you had to study everything, God will have set out a path for you, but sometimes it can be a wobbley bendy path, well being drunk at the same time, but those 36,000 desisions that you make throughout day, don't think of them as right or wrong, think of it more as there your desisions, be confident, it those choices that make you who you are as a person, no one can change that.
My first week of college was stressful. But it was exactly what you went through, I was struggling to make friends my first day, but then I made a friend and then I made another friend and another and they introduced me to their friends and boom I’ve now got 10+ friends and I’m so happy ✨

Hi Leon, look after college before all else, i know that sounds boring at your age , but im 30 now and messed up at college, and whilst i can do many things, i don't have full qualification papers , and its stuffed me up, and without been dramatic, im so fed up lately i dont know how much longer i can go on in this life, i just wish i could press the reset button, not just with collage but many things , i feel ive no true friends, no boyfriend, just a existence, ive been where you are with you boyfriend too and its painful, but believe me it will happen Manny more times , in this life , because people are cruel, if only we were a similar age i would look after and love you so much and be loyal, to you, anyway luck after yourself my friend , try not to end up like me .xx❤

You shouldn't feel bad about the amount of uploads you have on your channel. Make a video whenever you feel like you have a good idea to make a video about. Don't make videos just to make videos. Many channels die because they upload because they think they have to while they don't have a good idea to make a video about.

I have seen a video about how to stop overthinking too much but it is in german on a RUclips Channel named "Alex Visions" so I don't know if you can understand it.
