What is going on everybody, this is TGA, and in today's video, we're in London once again, and this time, we're at a place next to Heathrow Airport, called Custom House, which is home to London's Border Force Command Centre, Border Force immediately come out of this place demanding I turn the camera off, then they try saying it's illegal to film Border Force Officers, then they try to fabricate Heathrow Byelaws, the police later turn up, educate Border Force, then leave us alone, but not before the one Border Force officer decides to take our photo.
The ignorance of the staff is frightening. If they are not sure of the law stay quiet...
They should know the law, they are law enforcement

There are legal ways for migrants to enter UK but it’s run by the government so is absolutely shocking.

Its a common problem when some people are given a degree of authority, but being unable to distinguish between authority and perception of their actual authority.
I worked in the public sector for twenty odd years and always treated the public with the up most of respect not matter who they were , those that acted like little teapot tyrants got beaten up and their car vandalized .

Public Photography isn't 'basic laws'. There's no legislation on it or directly referring to it.

Not just no expectation of privacy in public place. There is no expectation of privacy when someone in a public place can see you.
But no point explaining that there is no privacy even in a private place such as an open plan office. Privacy is only when in you are in your own home with the curtains closed or places where you are comfortable to scratch your genitals or pick your nose.

That's incorrect. There are a few exceptions, where people can have a reasonable expectation of privacy in a public place.
@@aireboat7988 Yep, whilst having a conversation on a park bench, using an ATM, using public toilets. You get the idea. However it can be a bit more nuanced. On the park bench, your conversation is private, but you are still visible to everyone and anyone can photograph you. At the ATM, your PIN is private and you should ensure no one is able to see it, but it's not against the law to record it by accident, or record the PIN being entered but not show the person (so PIN not linked to a person). Basically I say that anywhere where you feel comfortable picking your nose or scratching your genitals or something else similar then you are expecting privacy.
But it's not against the human rights act if someone does record you when you were expecting privacy. The privacy in the human rights is your private life and thoughts are protected from the state of organisation

All of a sudden, your "filming in a public place" turns into a criminal offence. No "ifs" no "buts"... no saying "well...I didn't film the nipple officer".... She is in a public place and has a legally protected right to privacy. And with just that one example, never mind others, it makes the mantra "no privacy in public" invalid. Its a generalization at best. As a legal statement its simply false.

They are being officially audited as we speak ,A new investigation launched regarding forging of documents to allow illegal entry . previously 136 cases of gross misconduct were committed by one home office employee alone .that is only the very tip of the iceberg .
Would be interesting to know how far you get with a request to see the images that they took and whether they comply.

Same behaviour we see on most of these videos. Someone walks straight up to the man with a camera and the first words out of their mouth is 'I didn't give you permission to film me'. Even more irritating is the amount of people employed within the security industry, with very little grasp of spoken English, are completely convinced they know all about the 'LAW' that prevents them from being filmed. And it makes no difference to their single brain cell when told, there aint one.😂😂.
Even more worrying is that this same misguided idea about public photography is so prevalent amongst people further up the food chain.

Good that you gave Border Force something to do. I work at an airport and especially customs they stand for 8 hours on the phone doing sweet fa. Definitely the biggest drain on the public purse. Even SR management do the same corrupt from top to bottom

It's such a shame that the heavy handed attitude taken towards people who are born here, live here and and doing a lawful activity are approached in such a vile manner. What Boarder Force should be doing with the same zeal is refusing people who arrive in this country with no passport or documentation of who they are or where they are from. If you as a British citizen travel to any part of the world you will not be allowed into any country without your passport or other documentations and will be returned home at the border via the means you entered that country. Yet here you can't say a thing against this illegal economic migration to this country, they are given free accommodation, no gas or electric bill's. Free food and a small allowance of money. All this while we have UK residents struggling to pay their bill's, mortgage, rent. Struggling to feed their children and themselves even though they have jobs. Working people having to use food banks because the cost of living is crippling them. But still millions are spent each and every week on hotels and other costs to support illegal migrants.
