All-new 2024 Audi A3 Allstreet - Best Unique Sporty Crossover

The Audi A3 allstreet stands out as the unique crossover in the A3 lineup. Sporting an unmistakable off-road appearance, it boasts three centimeters higher ground clearance compared to the A3 Sportback, along with an elevated seating position, delivering an SUV-like driving feel with enhanced practicality. Its integration of apps into the infotainment system, customizable vehicle functions, and extensive suite of connected services ensure the A3 allstreet remains digitally interconnected.
The wedge-shaped, flat design and expansive light graphics of the headlights accentuate the sporty demeanor of the A3 allstreet. In a first for any A3 series model, users can now choose and alternate between up to four distinct digital daytime running light signatures through the MMI interface.
The A3 allstreet offers consistently employs Matrix LED headlights, which are complemented by LED rear lights. These headlights are equipped with integrated dynamic turn signals, all-weather lights located in the lower module of the headlight housing, and a dynamic coming home/leaving home function.
The suspension of the A3 allstreet sits 15 mm higher than the standard A3 Sportback suspension, resulting in a total of 30 mm more ground clearance when combined with the larger wheel diameter. This elevation not only enhances comfort during entry and exit but also improves 360-degree visibility due to the slightly elevated seating position. Similar to the A3 Sportback, the luggage compartment boasts a capacity of 380 liters, expandable to 1,200 liters with the rear seats folded down. Optional features include an electric tailgate, a detachable hitch, and a storage and luggage compartment package. This package provides the convenience of storing small items in nets attached to the front seat backrests or in a compartment on the driver’s side, while larger luggage pieces can be secured in place with a net in the trunk.
Initially, the A3 allstreet will debut in Europe with two engine/transmission configurations. The first is the 35 TFSI1, featuring a 1.5-liter engine delivering 110 kW (150 PS). This variant is offered with a seven-speed S tronic automatic transmission and incorporates mild hybrid technology. The second option is the diesel-powered 35 TDI2, also generating 110 kW (150 PS) and paired with a seven-speed S tronic transmission.
The A3 allstreet, which rolls off the line at Audi’s Ingolstadt plant, will be available in Germany and many other European countries. Prices in Germany start at 37,450 euros for the 35 TFSI1 with 110 kW (150 PS) S tronic.
