      I spent time in Kenya in the mid 2000's (Nairobi and a few villages near the Ugandan boarder), and, honestly, the 1910's hair was by far the most common hair style I saw.

      Why does everything african have to be related to nubia...there are so many other african empires.the nubian reference is getting old.
      It is actually a west african hair wrap NOT nubian.

    it'd be so interesting to see 100 years of australian beauty through both indigenous and white culture

    • @FearlessStar1000
      @FearlessStar1000 8 лет назад +37

      +Emily B agreed, although if it's the 20th Century, then Aboriginal and European Australian beauty would be relatively similar, with the White Australia Policy in 1901 attempting to "whiten" Aboriginals. Also, those Aboriginals who remained completely unaffected by it were most likely unphotographed as well, and finding evidence would be difficult. Nevertheless, it's still possible to do, so it would be awesome to see it!! :)

      It would be difficult to do a video on indigenous Australians since there are different groups of them and a lot of their history is either unknown or just tucked away somewhere. Would be interesting but finding the information for a video would be a pain in the ass

    I like how this channel can show so many different people, and do it really well! I loved be represented and seeing all the different cultures and people look good. This is really nice.

    i am so incredibly jealous of how african women can pull off having practically bald hair... its so gorgeous, and it looks so powerful somehow, plus it must be so easy to take care of

    BEFORE I give commentary I just want to ask "Who The H*LL Are YA'LL HATERS Disliking This Video" it promotes confidence, is a positive message and is beautiful in every aspect so WTF? TF? F?
    COMMENTARY: I'm still mesmerized every time I watch it!!! This will be about...my 10-11th+ time. I love how there is not one straightened, flat-ironed hairstyle and how the 1st and last one were both Beautiful naturals!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I just think it's time for more of us black women to rock a natural just as much as we buy weave. Every since I went natural I now feel (FREE!) free to express myself, free to rock a natural and not manipulate my hair into something it's not, free to be (Me)'!!!!! Which is why I almost cried when I permed my fro for prom because I didn't have time to get it braided!
    (I'm a procrastinator) and Now I'm trying everything to get it back to it's Kinky-Natural-Texture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      In case you're new to RUclips, there are always people who dislike the videos.
      And I want to say, I have nothing against black women -- or any women in general, but every woman can style their hair whatever they want. So, good for you that you like your hair as the way it is. :)
