Phil and Miss Kay were some of the original free-range parents, and Jase and Al share childhood stories of their free-range adventures. Zach and Jase emphasize the role women played in being witness to the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Zach shares about the times he struggled with doubt in his faith - but what he kept coming back to was the awesomeness of God choosing to accomplish what he did in a way no one would have predicted. And Jase remembers his own faith journey, when church seemed boring, but when he heard the first sermon Phil ever preached - "The Bad News and the Good News" - he decided to consider the Gospel, and that changed his life.

My Grandfather ran a state park down here in SWLA for 30 years. It was on a old route of the Sabine River. The river changed courses and left “old river”. Everything my grandparents ate was either out of the water, the woods, or out of the ground. He hunted all season long, ran nets and trot lines and gardened about 5 acres of land. He made and sold fish boxes and boat paddles out of cypress and sold them for a little extra money. He was on disability because of a bad injury received working on the railroad so they didn’t have a lot of money. Mr Phil and his family reminds me so much of my family. Grandpa and Grandma are gone now and every time I watch the Robertsons in the woods hunting or fishing it brings me back to the times we all spent together. Thanks y’all for staying true to your roots and for not being ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL!!!! Pray for a speedy recovery for Mr. Phil.

Well, family Im fixing to get baptized at 64 yr old and I have no clue where to go so after following the Red Road all of my life I'm at that point of finally putting down the beers and the cannabis and cigars that I'm trying to follow how you all preach and just live the right way. My neighbors have met Phil years ago and Ceeba who was a preacher is now 84 and well retired is why this time in my life I do need to do this very soon. My father who was Roman Catholic apparently got me baptized when I was 4 or 5 and told me I was but now he is gone I have no way of finding out so I will talk to my neighbors and get ready to do this next step. I was 17 years sober then Covid hit and my faith failed and my wife was in the hospital sick as heck so I got a bottle and threw all that down the drain so I need to get on that train again thanks so much for finding you all on my computer. Bless yall you are changing my life so much TYTYTYTY~

This is good to know about the log law :) we have cypress trees in our back yard and I am planning on turning them into some furniture for my backyard :)
Every big rainstorm me and all my friends from the neighborhood got on our bikes and strapped milk jugs to the front and rear of them and would go to the creeks and jump our bikes over ramps into the water and it was such a blast until I got dragged under a log and got stuck 😂but what fun we had nothing like today 😊

A gracious woman gets honour. Women were more compassionate and motherly. They were doing their duties as women tending to the tomb in grief making sure things stayed in order. They also never left Yeshua from start to finish showing loyalty. Women in the New Testament became vital and important and this was God's way of ensuring it happened. Also, the fact that Mary Magdalen was instructed to tell the apostles and not just anyone - must have some big significance to it as well.
I started reading the Bible though an app - and I like the fact that it pulls and jumps from NT to OT to Psalms to Proverbs almost daily - you are able to connect the prophesy spoken to the prophesy fulfilled for a well rounded understanding.
I really enjoy listening and feeling like I am being a part of your discussions - keep up the good work.
I pray Phil has a speedy recovery

I was raised free range in Trees city just north of y’all on caddo lake! I was kin to everyone there.
I believe as all of you mentioned with starting with the gospels as Phil stated, however I now feel its more important for a new believer to start with the book of John. It starts with Jesus from the very beginning and dies jot start as in the other gospels from the middle of His life. “ in the beginning was the word….”

I believe I am saved. But I have not been baptized yet. I need to find a church but I'm a young man and none of my friends or family are Christians. I'm nervous to enter a church alone. I want to be baptized to be sealed with the holy spirit and publicly profess my allegiance to Jesus Christ. The thief on the cross did not go to church or was baptized, he only believed in Jesus, and was saved. So I'm living happy in the Lord.
Im in a similar situation except i tried going to a church but felt it to be a little too close to new age for me - so I stopped going - didn't feel good about being there. And now I'm struggling trying to figure out how to be water baptized.

My Jesus is wicked cool! I think he’ll be down with people, will heal the sick, and will take care of the children who are being taught such bs and are so confused now. If someone started to read the Bible I recommend Luke, then Acts, and the Bible through to the end. Revelations at the end might be tricky because it’s future. Don’t be alarmed, veteran Christians find that book difficult.
Revelations is scary but a must read. I usually flip around so rn I’m in 2 chronicles and next I’ll read proverbs.

Please Jesus hurry back soon. I don’t know how much longer I can hold on. Jesus please continue to give me the strength to keep supporting my two autistic children. My boys require a lot from me because they are special needs. Due to them having issues in school, I’m now homeschooling them. I’m a single mother. I’m overwhelmed. I lost my job at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I have heart disease and I suffer from lupus that’s the major reason why I declined the vaccine. I’m waitressing and I’m grateful but I’m not making enough to make ends meet. Bills are stacking up and I can barely afford groceries. Every month is a struggle, and now that I’m homeschooling them my schedule is limited. I’m so overwhelmed and ashamed. I WANT TO GIVE UP but God’s gives me strength. I get harassed and bullied on this app for sharing my testimony and for asking for prayers but prayers are all I NEED. Even as I struggle! I keep faith in God. He is the God of possible! These books will cover the "Wars" about to come, the Rapture, World judgement, hence the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation! These books will also be the most ominous and scary for the unbelievers and the most exciting and uplifting for those who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!...
It is my hope and prayer that people would repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ before all these things take place, because it is going to be very, very scary if you do not and you decide to wait and see what happens!
Jesus is our rightful King of kings and Lord of lords!

Did Jesus ascend to heaven twice??? He told Mary not to touch him that he had not ascended to the Father but later he was touched by many excluding Thomas. After 40 days Jesus said he would appear no longer as he was going to ascend to the Father. ???????

I was thinking, going on the assumption that there were 2 ascendings , the first one, He could have gone to the heavenly realm & the second one He could have gone into the throne room to set at the Fathers right hand. What are your thoughts on this????😁
