I had something similar and it was a disaster. Every time I pulled one out, 3 fell. I bought a shelf, put spices on top and below it. Works better for me.
This idea is cute but the bamboo jars don’t have the little plastic bit on the top to regulate how much of the spice your putting in so it makes things harder to season
I got these handy clips from Amazon and hung them on a cabinet door(inside obv). You can screw in but they stick on. The spices fit inside the clips on their original bottle
I did the same thing but I store my spice rack on my counter. I am not tall enough to be reaching for them out of the cabinet and knock everything down anyway 😂
Umm I'm not sure how it works in America but I just bring my spice jars to my place and they fill them up for me. Netherlands. Not plastic or glass waste
I started saving videos to my Pinterest board bc were moving in a few months out of an apt into an actual house (after being in an apt for a year after moving to the south (Raleigh) from SoCal last year) and I just decided to save your entire channel because there's no point in saving EVERY SINGLE VIDEO... bc we share the same brain and design/organization style!

So i tried to do this. And i was left out with lots of remaining spices that didn't fit in the new "system". So now i have 2 systems that takes twice the space😅 the new pretty convenient one, and the old stored one. FAIILLL😅
Huh not many people know about sumac.. so so good in a fattoush salad!!! I've been making them for over 25 years now.. it was so hard to find sumac back then.. today it's much easier
Spices are supposed to be kept in smaller mouth containers to avoid smell and freshness loss. Also bamboo is permeable material and will continue to let some air and smell out. So now if the bamboo is coated with some chemical - that will also deflect in the spices! Seems the step of sanitizing/cleaning the bamboo jars was skipped :-) Also perfectly good spice jars were thrown. Oh well atleast you got some views for the content :-)

I know everyone has different tastes and all and people can do what they want with their money, but I truely hate this trend of "let's take this item out of this perfectly functional container and put it into a much more expensive and less functional but ⭐aesthetically pleasing⭐ container." Like now you're gonna need a bunch of little spoons to avoid dumping mouthfulls of spices on your food.

This is cute, but when you cook big meals often like I do, this won't work. My spice cabinet is a wreck and I go through spices too much for this fancy stuff.

Spices don’t expire - they just lose potency. Plus, if your spices are expiring then you aren’t using them and you KNOW which ones you don’t use.

I just take a pinch or tap on the glass !
It helps to only have the basics and to ditch the combinations like garlic salt and dry rubs

I run through spice pretty quickly but you can always use the empty labels it comes with and stick it on the bottom
