Just discovered your channel and very much appreciate your straightforward, honest review of the car. Really well done, and all things considered, at its price point, the Crosstrek Wilderness is a pretty compelling option--it is all about what your intended use of the car is, but I think for a large majority of buyers out there, this provides plenty of capability. For someone like me, who has no interest in rock crawling, its capability is spot on--comfortable trekking on established dirt/gravel mountain roads that can have some challenging bits, then get me to the trail head, river, lake or cabin, and I am good. Like you said, if you want to go rock-crawling or cruise the dunes, then there are other options to consider, but there's a reason why Subaru sells tons of these. Perhaps we'll get a turbo or hybrid with some increased power numbers--we can only hope at this point, but the package that exists now works.
Nice video! I'd love that with a 6 speed manual, but even with the CVT I'm definitely interested. There was some noise in the video, was that by any chance the extra CVT cooler that's equipped with?
They make an OFFROAD car and "Sporty IT is NOT"-- which is STUPID-- and it loses my vote right there-- without even thinking of the CVT (certainly verifiable TRASH)... and all its other weak points. I do AGREE on the sunroof-- I HATE THEM--- they're dangerous, weaken the body- and are LEAKS waiting to happen.
“A plucky little go-anywhere car” 🤘
You won’t be disappointed 😀

Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated. More videos coming!
I like everything except the CVT
SEE-- I'm NOT the only one. And I've seen many mechanics- MASTER mechanics- factory trained on them that don't like them.

Yeah, it's pretty annoying that I have to get a moonroof/sunroof (which I don't need or really even want) just to get the upgraded HK sound system.
No, it's one of the best compact crossover.
Jeep should be regretting scrapping the cherokee. Thanks Subaru.
Not physical buttons that's annoying
Not this subaru overheated engine
