Germany has cities with "testing-friendly" regulations too, I'll expect it to be in Erfurt first. The US has better potential, since they won't have a language barrier and it's the most profitable market in the world to enter. They'll have to figure out if the flight is going to be a problem. I think if they don't fly too high it should be fine. Also flying higher means it needs more energy, but flying too low means you can hear them.

If there was a centralized hub within the local area that could take care of docking and deploying the planes. The planes would just need to pick up the food at restaurants by dropping down the zipline drone at a designated pickup area and then dropping it off to the customer's house. Then repeat back and forth until battery is low, which then it returns to the central hub to recharge.

If the droid is dropping the package off in a person backyard then it wouldn’t be an issue, plus you’ll be getting an update via your phone on the drones location and delivery time. Unless there shooting at the drone (which they’ll probably miss since it’s 400m in the sky), that’s the only way I can see someone damaging the drone.

why do you want this to be a bad idea so bad bruh??? These drones are really quiet, have zero emission, are fast and you cant really spot them that often. A car is loud, has emissions, takes longer and you can see it lol drones are literally better in any way possible

Driving has to be an infinitely more dangerous delivery system than this. Id rather run the risk of a drone possibly falling from the sky near me than get into a high speed car accident with someone trying to deliver a Five Guys burger as fast as they can.

I own one. I threw a lasso at it joking around with my friends and it got caught. I pulled it down so i could free it then my friend put it in a cardboard box. lmk when you want it back
