Our guide told us that it is okay thats why I took drone with me at the first place. But on paper it is illegal to fly drone in all national parks including Maya Bay. But where I was flying is actually over the hills and pretty far away from Maya Bay. So I think it was okay.
@@erdemulubas Unfortunately it’s illegal to fly the drone in Maya Bay. Doesn’t matter if you are slightly away from the crowd or right in the middle of the beach. It’s a national park area and the guide it’s not an authorised authority that can decide if it’s ok or not. Anyway good video and lucky you that they didn’t fine you 🤙🏻
@@mattgunst Yea, what you expect from a guide is just to “guide” you to the right things. Where I flew from was the next bay where there was no beach to walk and so no people at all to fine me 😅 I really liked the videos actually Im totally okay to pay the fine aswell 😅😅
The colors are just so saturated and vibrant at this part of the world. After you return to a city you think that there is something wrong with your eyes because everything is so gray… 😅😅

Staying on Phi Phi island and hire long tail boat to visit Ma Ya bay early in the morning would be the best. It still looks very nice from your video.
