Why no one mentions the fact, how well-organised this video is? Lovely to no bullshit information, everything is well labelled, clear instructions where we can find more information. Rare to find these kinds of gems in the sea of content. Lovely work, thanks guys, will start follow you. :)
Could not have said it better myself. Your videos have been so pleasant to watch and helpful on refining where we travel next!! You are now our first stop for information.
Another good destination near Krabi are the saline hot springs, one of the very few hot saltwater springs in the world. I went there yesterday, and was the only foreigner. Tourists don't seem to know about this place, and it's not far from the Emerald Pool and cascading hot springs. Another cool activity at Railay is to climb up to the viewpoint from where there's an awesome view of the peninsula. You can also descend to the lagoon below.
I am watching this from Ao Nang on my 2nd day, travelling overland by car from the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur ❤ crowded and touristy but worth the visit - whilst it's too early to tell, I could already do so ❤
I've been to Thailand many times and pretty much saw the most know places, but Krabi is one of the few places I never went yet. I'm heading over there this summer, so thanks for the inspirational ideas.
Thank you Zac and Ine for these beautiful and spotless videos! I absolutely adore your videos, clear instructions, very well described and such a sooth voice! Wishing you all the best and looking forward to my trip to Thailand.
Great overview video! The only thing I found a bit odd that I would want to make clear to folks is: While Koh Lanta Yai was the only island described as "small" in this video, it is by far the biggest island mentioned in this video.
Awesome I have stayed in Ao Nang in Feb 2018 and Feb 2020 on my 3rd and 4th Thailand trip respectively,. I have visited all the places in the video (except the clubbing part). On my 3rd trip to Thailand, I did stay 5 nights in Ao Nang, then 3 nights in Koh Phi Phi Don, then 1 night in Koh Lanta but I did see a few beaches there and then 3 nights in Koh Lipe in the deep south. Personally, I prefer Krabi over Phuket any day
Absolutely agreed with the Krabi over Phuket part! Krabi was our favorite region in the south. We also made it to Koh Lipe, such a beautiful slice of paradise...
Namaste.. your videos are so peaceful and from the start of the video we get glued in .Your calm and peaceful demeanour is cherry on the cake.I am visiting krabi in dec 2023 and planning to follow your itinerary.
very nice place to go, langkawi not tourist goes there.. normally i go for swim at pantai cenang there, but no more fun there.. they building apartment near the beach.. 30 years back it was like paradise..
"Massive thanks for this video on '10 things to do in Krabi'! Having had the chance to visit this area, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the suggestions and how beautifully Krabi's beauty was captured. This video brought back wonderful memories and made me want to go back immediately. Thank you for this inspiring retrospective and for reigniting my passion for Krabi! 🌴🌅"
Hi there 1st of all, love your video. This is the 1st one I have watched which really gave me some direction Question. : can I plan this trip along with my soon to be mom wife ? And if yes then what all should I avoid and surely must do. Your reply would be very helpful If there is anything else you want to suggest. Please do.
Thanks! Glad you liked it. Yes, it's definitely a safe destination that you can visit with your mom wife. You might want to fly into the airport near Krabi instead of Phuket (from Phuket it's a bit long bus ride). There are many great hotels in Ao Nang, and you can probably do the day tours on the mainland, and maybe make your way to Railay Beach to enjoy some sun and relaxation
someitmes i go alone, with family members and friends.. but be extra careful when going to forest. even i lost in forest and though i will die alone in the forest..luckily my mother thoght me something .. i found the way out..
Great Video, We're going to Thailand for my wife's 50th. We like great beaches scenery and reasonable night life not too sleazy. Question is Krabi or Khao Lak ? Then which part of Phuket ? for the second week Thanks
Sounds like an amazing present! Krabi is busier than Khao Lak. Khao Lak is more for relaxing, Krabi has tons of things to do. For Phuket, we'd recommend staying at the west side, but outside Patong. Areas like Karon, Kata Beach, or Ya Nui are better in our opinion.
Hi i just watched this video, as i'm planing to go to thailand. This video has great information i really like it. Thank you! Krabi was an option to go to but i'm not sure if it's a good time to go by the end of october beginning november? I don't know much about the rainseason in thailand. Or are there other places in thailand you would recommend to go instead of krabi?
The raining season generally lasts from June to October... so November might be better! However, the climate has been changing so much that even in April last year we had some major storms in that area!
I have been looking at a lot of your Thailand videos and planning places to visit. Great videos by the way. Did you look up all these places before hand, or was it word of mouth, did locals tell you where to go? Do I have to plan everything ahead or can I just find different adventures there?
Thank you! We usually do research before we visit a place. But once we're there, we get more recommendations from other travelers and locals that we add to our plans! So you definitely don't need to book everything in advance. For some people it's just a piece of mind... others like to be more flexible and go with the flow! 😉 Have a great trip!
Greetings Zac and 8na! Love your vids! Keep up the good work! My partner and I are visiting Krabi the top of August, which we know to be the rainy season. What activities do you suggest if we get hit with a lot of rain while we're there? Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words! 😊 You could definitely still do the Tiger Cave Temple, Hot Springs, Emerald Pool, and the night market. There are also other activities like a Thai cooking class... It's rainy seasons but the rains might be short and sharp storms (like an hour or two). So hopefully you'll be all fine! I heard climbing courses are available year-round too
Hmm both are nice! Phi Phi Don has less things to do, except for relaxing at the beach, a hike to the viewpoint, and a tour to Maya Bay. From Ao Nang, there are more cool things to do, but it's the bigger one of the two with more resorts (so feels less like a paradise island). Maybe you can combine both? We stayed 6 nights in Ao Nang and did many trips and activities, we also stayed 2 night on Phi Phi Don.
We stayed about a week. Minimum we would say is 3-4 days. Lots of things to do in and around Krabi! July can get a bit rainy because it’s raining season
Hey! How many days do u recommend for Krabi, just to see the main attractions? I am doing to Phuket for 10 days and I want to see Krabi as well, but I am not sure if 3 days, for example, are enough?
can build apartment , but need to build at least in the middle of the island, so people can enjoy the island and the beach is well protected.. ok need to pray zohor now. tmorrow going back to work, health getting better..
Hello Zac and Ine, thank you for such an informative video! I am planning to visit Krabi in a couple of months, where in Krabi would you recommend that we stay?
We stayed in Ao Nang which was a good base to explore other places from. Another beautiful place to stay would be Railay, though you’re a little more limited in doing trips from there (as it’s only accessible by boat).
Hi! We are planning to visit that area in February for 5 days. Any suggestion on where to be based to see most of the place around? After that we will go to Ko Tao. Thank you
Do I understand correctly that I should stay in Ao Nang for 3-4 days and travel to Phi Phi, Hong Island, Railey and Ko Kai from there? Or should I stay in each place for a night?
Depends on you. I wouldn’t change location every night, that would be exhausting. You could base yourself in Ao Nang and visit Hong Island and Railay from there. You could stay one or two nights in Phi Phi Don and visit Maya Bay from there as well.
How long does it take to get to PP island from Krabi? On the full day tour, how many hours are you on a boat? The day trip looks great but I don’t want to spend hours on a boat moving from one place to the next. Thanks
It takes at least 45 mins by speedboat to get to Phi Phi. But even at Phi PHi, you still will go by boat between all the different islands... If you're concerned about too much time on the boat, it might be better to take a ferry to Phi PHi Don and then stay a few days. Do a boat tour from Phi Phi Don to Maya Bay!
Thanks! 😄 we don’t show a separate video on Koh Tao as we didn’t spend enough time to make a full video (we also got pretty sick when we were there so that didn’t help!). We do have a video about Koh Samui coming this Saturday and next week an overall Thailand video with our top 15 places!
Why no one mentions the fact, how well-organised this video is? Lovely to no bullshit information, everything is well labelled, clear instructions where we can find more information. Rare to find these kinds of gems in the sea of content. Lovely work, thanks guys, will start follow you. :)
Thanks so much for these kind words! Appreciate it ☺️
agreed. thats what i do in my videos too. get rid of the fluff and get to the point.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. ❤

We are going today. Thanks for the vid. Chiang Mai, koh samui, koh tao, koh nang yuan, to Krabi.
Krabi was the best place I visited in Thailand. I spent four days here and i had a great time. I hope to return again someday.
Guys lets go together so we can share the rents 🎉
Thank you Zac and Ine for these beautiful and spotless videos! I absolutely adore your videos, clear instructions, very well described and such a sooth voice! Wishing you all the best and looking forward to my trip to Thailand.

Perjalanan yang sangat menarik
Thanks this info on Krabi it’s sounds more appealing than Phunket.. to use as a base for tours☯️👁
Yes we agree. Krabi has more of the beautiful limestone cliffs and so many islands near
Great piece of work Zac & Ine. Can you please help me understand how do you select background music for your videos?
We use Artlist music, but we pay for a yearly license which allows us to use lots of songs
Thank you so much for putting this amazing video together! so informative and interesting!
Great video my friends. 💯❤ Thanks for sharing your time with us all. 😊 Cheers from 2 Canadians 🇨🇦 living in Mexico. 🇲🇽✌🏼🥰

I was there in 2017, wonder if they cleaned things up..?
But the question is what is the best part of krabi you recommend to live to get the most of all these wonderful activities?
Definitely Ao Nang… it’s the best connected of all the places we mention!
Thank you. This helped me alot for my holiday. it was amazing.
Glad it helped!!
What are the different options for getting around in Krabi? I want to go to various hiking spots.
Awesome video! Personally, I’ve seen a lot of travel vids for 🇹🇭 but this one is the best by far!!!! Great insights!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words! ☺️

Krabi for its landscapes and wide range of activities! Phuket if you're looking for a more upscale vibe and accommodation
Great video 😊 lots of information. The water looked amazing. We are very jealous
Krabi is so beautiful! Our favorite beach destination in southern Thailand ☺️

We didn’t! But it’s a stop many boat tours include
Another awesome video! Thanks for the fantastic tips 🇺🇸🇵🇭🇹🇭
Thanks! 🤩
Hi! We are planning to visit that area in February for 5 days. Any suggestion on where to be based to see most of the place around? After that we will go to Ko Tao. Thank you
Ao Nang is a good base as you can easily visit the islands, but also take a short boat ride to Railay, or explore the mainland of Krabi ☺️
Gained a new subscriber! Could you maybe talk about how it would be to travel with a child to some of your destinations x
❤❤❤❤
Nice 👍
Nice video 👍
Thank you! 😁
I would like to take your tips to my heart for further knowledge and spreading. And thank you for making my hometown louder. 🎉❤😊
Which one is better in term of cost and time? Phuket to Phi Phi island or Krabi to Phi Phi
They're both equally as far when it comes to time I think...
how long have you stayed there for?
Hie i am planning to visit Thailand in December so how many days should i spend in krabi?
3-5 days depending on how much activities you want to fit in ☺️
❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Can we book a day prior from get your guide?
Yes you can unless it gets booked up 😊 we booked the day before. If you can’t book anymore on getyourguide, you’ll sure find a tour in the town

Hi. Is it suitable to visit Krabi in April end?
Yes that's still a good time! It will be very hot though ;)
hello! how much did u paid to engage the longtail boat to take u through the 4 islands tour?
We booked a tour so it wasn't a private tour! You can check the tour price in the description below the video
