I went Phucket last year, and I thought it was just going to be a place to chill by the beach with some cool nightlife, a nice break between Chang Mai and Bangkok, but I was surprised how pretty the island was. The Old Town was lovely and Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha were really cool.
Thanks guys! informative video! Great presentation!
Thx for sharing.
Thank you for your sharing of information looking at heading there very soon
wow, such an amazing video! Your cinematography/editing/creative skills are unbelievable! And I had no idea Phuket was so clean and modern looking. I did hear it's crowded and busy... Koh Samui must be one of those 'tranquil' places you mentioned. It was a lot more primitive.
Thanks! Yes Koh Samui is more relaxed! Phuket might be the busiest of all islands we visited in Thailand. But it’s also the biggest
Thanks for the video
Very impressive vlog, thank you all for your tips, suggestions, avoiding traffic, sunset, where to eat and stay.. so helpful... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH...
Glad it’s been helpful! 🙏
Loved it. Thank you ❤

That voice tho. Soothing. Great video!
Thank you kindly!
Great videro, maps, and tips. A friend told me to go to Phuket and this really got me oriented, fast. Thanks.
Thailand has many beautiful beach destinations!

Thank you for watching!
One of the best travel video i have seen without too many filmy over exaggeration, overhyping dumb locations and praising all the places they go as a best and must try this is simple and great thank you for all the recommendations
Thanks for the positive feedback! 😊🙌
Great video, straight to the point but also showing us what to look forward to ❤️
Thanks!
Amazing scenery. I would love to visit Thailand one day. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching! I hope you will!
Nothing difficult about it.
Book a flight and go.
If you can't afford it you are a pathetic loser.
Very helpful
Thanks for useful video 🙏🙏
Thanks for watching!
This great content, I love it.
Thank you!
amazing video! help me a lot to create my trip in november!
Happy to hear that!
excellent and informative video. don't miss it new visitors to Phuket !! ..because you will get a very good , well-rounded view of Phuket rather than just visiting Patong Beach and Bangla Road , which are extremely commercialized and will not provide a complete picture . Of course the whole island is pretty much geared for tourists but this video certainly helps.
Yes there's so much else to do besides Patong!
I loved Phuket ❤
🙏
Hello de la suisse, bravo vous êtes le meilleur site avec des indications claires et une situation géographique 😀👍👍👍et merci pour la traduction en français 😊
Merci d'avoir regardé et des mots gentils!
Cool
great work .i am also travel vlogger i like the way to describe things . keep it up.
Love your videos! Short and informative. Btw, can you tell me about their drone policies? Not just Phuket, but Phi Phi and Krabi as well. Did you face any issues while flying drones?
Thanks for watching! It’s not allowed to fly the drone in any national park. The famous Maya bay at Phi Phi is for example not allowed. Phuket and Krabi allow to fly in most places, but definitely do some more research before going. Attractions where it’s not allowed usually will have a sign… like temples and religious / historical places
BEST
Yes. Definitely I want to go to Buddhist Temple in Thailand.
Very well made video 👌 I was in Thailand for 3 months in 2008, koh Leipe didn't even have roads or mopeds back then, and the viking resort on koh phi phi Don was just starting their amazing tree houses, looks so busy now, my wife and I are going back there in October next year, but we are staying in kamala beach up from karon beach, thanks for uploading such a great video guys 😁
Dang it’s crazy how times change! Some of the islands have really developed. But we still enjoyed it… especially Koh Lipe was one of our favorites.
เกาะกระดานนัมเบอร์1ของไทย
amazing
Thanks ☺️
Sounds good, but I think to rent a jetski safari with us for exploring the small quiet islands of north east Phuket with an new seadoo jetski from 2023 is an amazing experience too
We can imagine!
Professional video, thanks
Glad you liked it!
@@worldwildhearts I just came back from Phuket after 3 weeks vacation, u just replied hehe ❤️
Great video. Amazing list of links and resources. Thank you so much. Any advises about renting scooters (weekly, daily, easy, expensive)? 👍
thanks! It's easy and cheap to rent a scooter (maybe 5$ per day), but just be very careful with the traffic on the road! And make sure to bring your international driving license if you have one... the police will ask for it if they stop you
im going to thailand in a month, thanks!
Hope you enjoy it!
i did it the other way round with The Big Buddha and Kata beach.. climb down to the beach and it still was a sweaty trip 😅
That’s probably a better idea giving the extreme humidity and heat 🤣
Thai food allllllll dayyyyyy
your video is exactly how a travel guide must be... me and family are going in february...do you suggest we stay in Phuket and Phiphi island or just Phuket as a headquartes? Thank you guys!!!!
Thanks!! Hmm I think you should try to stay in both if you can. Phi Phi Don is where you stay and explore Maya Bay from. It's still pretty far from Phuket, even though it's often offered as a day trip. We loved the vibe of Phi Phi Don as it's very tiny and has the most stunning scenery. :)
Subscribed 🙏 Love from India ❤
Thanks!
i am pretty much going to Phuket and Malaysia and Singapore 😉
Enjoy!!
Great vlog all around. I was in Phuket this last February and late March. I did you handle the sun and heat? I experienced heat sickness on and off. I got to go back though.
It was definitely hot there! We were also visiting in March. We tried to cool down with AC / drinking lots of water / and swimming in the sea 😅
@@worldwildhearts I want to live there but I arrived to the fact I just can't handle the heat and will stay in San Diego Ca and visit in July, August, November, December and January. Thanks for your channel very informative.
Thanks for this informative video. Apologies for my odd question: how is internet signal over the islands?
Thailand’s internet is pretty great overall… very connected!
Did you apply for the drone permit before flying it there? I’m planning to come to phuket this march but i heard application for permit takes so much time
I was here last week
Hope you enjoyed it!
Hi, thanks for the video! Would you mind sharing how much the fine was and what you were fined for? We're going to Phuket this week and renting a scooter for the first time!
around 30 USD - once you pay, they'll give you a ticket that allows you to drive for another 3 days without getting another fine (in case the police stops you). We didn't have an international driving license at that time. You're license also should allow you to drive a scooter. In many countries, a car driving license doesn't prove that. Just be very very careful in Phuket when driving. It was probably the most dangerous place we drove in Thailand and we saw quite some accidents.
I want to go quite Thailand beach, so Yan Nui or Freedom Beach.
So the lively in all day in Thailand is the night, oh my God.
💚Gorgeous place .💚
💙Make your video passionately so that many people can feel happiness and joy while watching your videoes.💙
💛Thanks for sharing💛
🧡Hope to see you around and connected.🧡
💜Have a great day💜
Thank you so much 😀
So where do you guys stay for night resorts? And also how do you plan those just travel yourself on scooters or there is packages you can buy. Its hard to decide how to all figure it all out. Planing to visit with my wife but we always went to cancun so this one is different animal.
We usually book our hotels on the go. Booking has lots of options in Thailand. We sometimes rent a scooter to visit places, sometimes take a taxi around. The Grab App is very convenient, just like Uber and very cheap in Thailand. So it’s the easiest and safest way to get around. Be careful when renting a scooter, there are many accidents 🙃 there are also lots of tour agents in every town that can book a tour for you. Or some tours you can prebook online!
@@worldwildhearts just came back from thiland i would not ride personally a scooter in actual phuket way too crazy but we were on small island and it was great no traffic slow and yes i actually used bolt instead way cheaper than grab.
Hello everyone 😊
Dear how did u cope up staying in town area, because i dont have option to stay in stay in west, my pre purchased hotel membership is at East side
Hmm that’s a bummer. The east side also works but you’ll need to rent a scooter to get to the other side. There are many hotels on the west side.. but not sure how it works with a membership
why u sensor the person at 1:36?! XD haha cool XOXO
nice bro
I just applied a university there. I wanna have the best time of my life the next 2 years lol.
Sure you will!
I would add... whenever driving in Asia anywhere... follow the rules but expect most others won't. Don't be surprised to see a vehicle traveling the wrong way on a one way, or on sidewalks, or just randomly pull in front of you. Getting cut off is pretty normal, and the general 'unwritten' rule is that the larger vehicle has the right away and will just expect you to yield. It's super scary.
That being said, Koh Samui was an island more populated by expat Europeans (mostly Germans) that actual Thai people... and I guess Phuket might be similar? In fact the best/most authentic German food outside of Germany I found was Koh Samui.
Agreed with the “road rules” 😅 The south of Thailand has many expats indeed. For a more authentic Thai experience, central and northern Thailand are better!
Which one did you prefer krabi or phuket? And why?
We have an one year old. Which hotels would you recommend that have all the amenities for mother and children? 5-star hotel is overkill.
I would take a look at the quieter areas of Phuket, like Kata Beach, Karon Beach, Kamala Beach, Nai Harn, ... There are many hotels in the area so it's best to check on a platform like booking.com to see whether they have all the facilities you need!
How many days do you need in phuket and Bangkok to have a pleasant well rounded trip?
Probably 3 days in Bangkok and 3-4 days in Phuket. Would add more time if you’re planning on doing day tours from both places
I want to go to James Bond Island.
There was a ferry phuket phiphi to krabi
Krabi phiphi phuket
is phuket town lot less touristy then west? i tend to stay in cities cause tourists disperse, at the seaside is the same no matter where you are
It's definitely more local in phuket town... but it's a long drive to get to the west every time lol
hi how many days you spend in Krabi?
We spent a full week there! But you can see most highlights in 4-5 days
Do we need to book the tour guide in advance or just a day before?
You can book the day before usually!
@@worldwildhearts thanks a lot!
My friend and I are going to Phuket for 1 week this December. My friend is not getting vaccinated. My mom said I need to make an appointment for foreign travel and get vaccinated for stuff. No idea what to do. Any advice please
We didn’t need to show any proof of vaccinations in Thailand. You might want to get rabies shot to be safe though. Just ask your doctor which ones you should get, (s)he’ll know!
Note to self:
Day 1 Sunday - Phuket Town Sunday Night Market & Indy Market & Soi Rommani Street
I'm half Thai 😂❤
What do you like more koh samui or phuket and why?
We like Koh Samui more! It's just smaller than Phuket, so we prefer that
@@worldwildhearts ah thanks ok!!
southwest is where on phuket actually ? you got me lost there
Between Promthep Cape and Nai Harn Beach, or a bit more to the north like Karon Beach or Kata Beach 😊
Can we fly drones easily without permission... What was your experience
It's not allowed everywhere but you'll see the sign at each place... especially not in the national parks or historic sites
If you were to choose between the two.... Phuket or Krabi?
No doubt about it… Krabi! It’s more beautiful than Phuket in our opinion
Where did you book your activities?
Online! links are in the description to the tours we booked
Are taxis ripoff? I don't mind paying a litte extra but not scammed, how far will tuk tuk's travel? Will they go from airport to the other end of island?
Taxis aren’t necessarily a rip off but to know the true price, get a taxi via Grab App. It’s like Uber, but with real taxis and you’ll see the price when you order one. It’s the most common way to travel around cities or bigger destinations in Thailand
@@worldwildhearts ok thanks, have since found out about the " smart bus" also.
Phuket, bali or langkawi?
Again very different destinations lol! Go to Phuket if you want a nightlife and beaches. Go to Langkawi for a more authentic relaxing experience. Go to Bali if you want some culture and tons of activities to keep you busy
it has AU brokenough
This is considered krabi right?? I just posted a video about this place
No Phuket is it’s own province. Krabi is a different province. Only Koh Phi Phi is part of the Krabi province
10:36 There's another way to escape the police.
Lol
Is there any nude beach in Phuket ?
Not that we heard of
Those trips are the biggest scams. Never Book them! Rent yourself a scooter and explore thailand yourself, u will see much more.
You can't really scooter to the islands though, so you'd need to book a tour for that
@@worldwildhearts book a ferry in phuket, but not a tour.
It’s not a island btw
It definitely doesn't feel like an island! But geographically, yes, it's an island..
Phuket City is absolutely boring
Next time you visit ill take you scuba diving.. hit me up
Thanks! We’ll let you know!
problem dengan teleport haus...kau boleh cerita pasal pucket pasal Azrin pulak....neraka , hilang lah teleport aku gila....dia kalau takde element hate tu boleh sampai US kau tahu...aku teleport pakai cahaya....kau tak payah craft aku, sakit, tak pro...
BEST
Which one did you prefer krabi or phuket? And why?
BEST
Which one did you prefer krabi or phuket? And why?
We preferred Krabi! It’s more beautiful because of the limestone cliffs. You don’t have those in Phuket really
Which one did you prefer krabi or phuket? And why?
We preferred Krabi as we liked the beaches there more. Krabi has those typical limestone cliffs around the beaches, which is something that makes Thailand unique!
