Go in a few days early depending on the time zone difference to get adjusted. Also to explorer. The whole reason to cruise is to explore in my opinion.
Could not agree more on exploring. One tip that I did not mention related to time zone, which works well for us in the eastern and Atlantic time zones is about two three weeks before we are wheels up for Europe or Africa is to beginning adjusting our sleep cycles going to bed earlier each day and getting up earlier until we are eventually close to the destination time zone. Really helps with the jet lag but will not work for everyone due to work or family restraints.
I would love to hear more about specific (unusual) ways of traveling. Per example, I heard there is a Ganges-River-Cruise? I'd LOVE to know more about this, and others like it!
Oooo, LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ziploc bag idea!!!
Sometimes it’s the little things!
I loved listening to this! Two wise seasoned guys sharing, in such happy, funny and positive ways. Such a great inspiration, both of you!
Our pleasure!
Thanks for the tip about a first aid kit. We do carry one but you've given me some ideas for other things to include.
Glad it was helpful!😀
