I haven't yet hit the PXG irons but I do own a Gen 4 0811 XT Driver in 7.5* and I have never hit a driver this long and straight in my 25+ years of golfing. It's seriously impressive!
@@Journey2scratch Bought the Gen4 driver with Cypher shaft £250 Inc delivery. Amazing forgiveness good length. My favourite driver ever, and boy, I have had quite a few.
I love my Gen 5 PXG irons. Prices have comedown on all of their irons. One good thing about PXG is that you can get their stock graphite shaft at no extra charge which should make them cheaper than other top brands that charge for graphite. Great for seniors and slower swing speeds. Love the review.
Tried a friend's Gen5 0311T and have to admit it felt great and effortless to hit, came with the Mitsubishi MMT graphite shafts, also looked awesome all black.
Many do not like the INDUSTRIAL look of PXG, I like the looks myself. Never hit one as we do not have a fitter close or a golf store that carries them or a fitting station for them! Look at PINGS clubs the i525 & the new i230, they are EXPENSIVE now !!!
Obviously the looks are very much opinion. If you like the looks they are lovely to hit. The Pings are also lovely looking clubs. Let me know what you go for
YES YES. I agree one hundred percent and have not looked back. Brought the driver too. An upgraded one and its excellent. Better than my Taylormade M5 with a real good shaft. BETTER. And people just dont even give them a try . Foolish. Best bargain around. And they are easy to hit and go a ton since they are the modern irons, hollow, like my hybrids.
@@Journey2scratch checked them out in another players bag. I really like their looks! If I'm going to keep them for 5-7 years, a couple of hundred $ up front is less of a barrier.
A lot of mainstream manufacturers have benefited greatly from the pricing of PXG’s premium range and the difference in price with their products is now much less than when PXG entered the market. A thorough test might win you over, as they are a quality offering.
Well if you thought they were decent at that price, then I would assume you would think they are good at the price now, you can get a full bag for $2600, which is what 2100 pounds? So going from 1700 pounds for some irons, to 2100 pounds for an ENTIRE BAG, these would have to be some of the best valued clubs on the market then?
What about their 0211 series? I picked up a superb custom made hybrid, delivered for £99 a couple of weeks ago from their website. PXG has a weird blend of severely overpriced clubs and ridiculous bargains.

I haven’t tried the Pxg driver. Thinking now I should

I'm leaning towards them for my next club set
Have you a chance to try them Brian?

Best clubs I ever hit 🎉

I heard your call on them as simply gen 5 did I miss you telling us which model?

PXG discounts their previous editions...and gives even more of a discount to HEROES program members (military and veterans in USA)
Appearance is divisive for sure. That is why the new XCOR2s - that dont have the ugly look and are so cheap - are going to be huge.

I think you are complaining a bit too much about the cost aren't you?
As titled first impressions, I think it’s a lot of money. I’ll happily say they are worth it I’m e tested if I think they are.
Never said much about the shots or feel.... not good content
Very much a first impression video. Full review incoming
All golf clubs are ridiculously over priced. The manufacture’s must be laughing all the way to the bank at how gullible golfers are😂😂😂
