Woman, men, senior citizens, black brown white : drive on these roads with urges and inconsideration. They take their daily frustrations on the roadways. Hell im no saint . Until theres your own blood on the ground, you will start screaming im the “victim”. I work driving all around houston , i mind my business keep my distance, not on my phone. And dont instigate road rage . Sometimes i might get cut violently but i be the adult and just let it go .Try this and you wont get road rage.

You've noticed too huh? I've been telling people this is intentional. They've been handing out licenses like Halloween candy to unqualified drivers to increase road fatalities and I believe it's a conspiracy. The low attention span, socially inept, emotionally deficient people are in the majority on the roads equating a inevitable deadly disaster for sound minded drivers.

That in conjunction with the city wanting to do major road work ALL OVER the city at once is another contributing factor. Real simple solution, STOP spreading road work all over and focus on spots, finish completely then move on to next spot, and EVERY person moving to Houston from another state needs to take a TEXAS driving course BEFORE getting issued a TEXAS driver's license !!!

Well, I can't blame people for having anxiety about not wanting to drive or be in a car in a city. So many things can go wrong while driving, and there are so many accidents that happen each year. I would prefer some of the tax money go into building more canal towns and canal cities, where some people might prefer to travel by boat. Something like the Canal City Hakata and towns like Giethoorn Netherlands is what we need in America where not too much crime happens by car and its reduced. Well maybe someone watching this comment will probably give the idea to the Mayor of Houston and make half of Houston a canal city.

Too many Houston area drivers have bad habits. I see drivers every single day holding their phone in their hand and often looking at it instead of the road. Maybe you don’t care but maybe the driver next to you does care and has a gun. “No texting while driving” is not enough. Hands-free only (no headphones) should be the law. I quit driving for Lyft because distracted driving keeps getting worse and there is no enforcement. None.

Southern California is the only place in the US that has worse drivers than the Houston area. In the NY NJ area the people are aggressive but they are way better drivers. The move where people deliberately refuse to get in the proper lane to exit but instead cut off 3 lanes of traffic to make a last minute exit but it is okay because they are using the turn signal was invented by a Houstonian. But really, much of this has also to do with out roadway designs. For example, the feeder roads along highways are an incredibly stupid and dangerous design. Traffic is going 50-70 mph and you have private driveways people turn into and out of meaning they need to slow down or speed up rapidly to not disturb traffic on the feeder. Rarely does it work as intended and people have to slam on their brakes then get irritated at someone turning. Other states have no feeders at all. The highway exits to surface streets that are isolated from the highway and posted speed limits are 35-40 mph.
