Today we blindly attempt abyssal deadspace in EVE Online. It’s a little different today as I’ve decided to just hit record and see what happens. We can find out what’s inside together.

Such a good video, as another person who has been playing for years off and on i 100% agree about information being available when looking at how things are done, it should all be there without 3rd party sites/guides!

  • @Arjunvandemataram

Nice video mate :) You might want to fit a webifier to slow down the npc ships so your guns can track them better so they do more damage :)

  • @theDackjanielz

thanks as a new player this helps, i tried an abyssal once and it didn't go well, think i picked one of the harder ones without understanding it and probably the wrong elements etc.

  • @CruentusV

this will come as a shock to null corp members but the majority of individual players in EVE Online are solo players (and have been for many years, much to hilmar's chagrin) - many having never played in a corp of any sort nor see any need to do so. imagine playing without the bother of corporation concerns, or as many solo players do, viewing null corp players as little more than just a more interesting form of npc's. in the old days, such a revelation would attract dozens of null shills trying to shout it down. now, not so much...

  • @mrmultiface

a quick tip. If you don't have a 'Tracking Speed Script' to put into your tracking computer and you need more tracking, just remove the 'Optimal Range Script' from your tracking computer and trurn it on. without a script it enhances both tracking and range.

I havent played since right after the triglavians were introduced. I miss it. But I wonder what would happen when you type "suspect" into the search bar near your profile pic. If that would be something that it works on.

  • @thermalerosion4556

Fortunately you do NOT get flagged as a suspect until you do a tier 4 abyssal dead space, tranquil is tier 0.

  • @umadbroimatroll7918

I thought when they added instances to eve it would kill it, quit for a year afterwards but came back when i realized its not that bad for the game really, abyssal is not my thing though, dont like not seeing local, or having the time limit, mostly though since i love drones in abyssals ive found the rats wreck drones so fast 😂 i stick to nullsec pve and faction warfare pvp for isk making

  • @TanteLaurana

great video! on your last point though: eve is way too complex to explain itself through ingame tutorials. it's a sand box, and it's up to you to figure out how what to do with the sand. as an example, just talking about abyss: i've run about 5000 filaments so far, could probably write a 500 page book just about running abyss in cruisers, and i still learn something new about it almost every time i sit down to run it.

  • @flixgribv

Thank you for the video, but it would be nice if you reconsider the way you're recording your voice for such stuff. Maybe record in mono, or stereo (if you record in more channels), or just reposition your mic. Or just make the recorded audio mono. It's really weird to listen to a voice somewhere from back left for 20 minutes.

And in a few days, you jump out of the abyss and get ganked. 4B Abyss ship gone and rich gankers.
