Yup, the AIR career program is fantastic for introducing you to the game after the career agents. Even as a veteran player, it pushed me to try new things I hadn't touched in ten years and found I really enjoyed it.
Yes! If anything it works as a good reminder of what's out there.
I too just got back after 10 years, loving the gamebl so far , played enough on my new Alpha account so that I'm comfortable undocking with my Omega toon

You may want to know, ut there is talks about an AIR career monthly path that is being added into the game, kinda like a battlepass with quests i thnk, even though i kinda just cringed at the word battlepass i think its a good thing because it gives players that dont know what to do somthing to work towards always
Ehhh, the word battlepass does hurt the ears but that does sound good. Maybe they can call it AIR Career's monthly starship shindigs.
Note for training social skill books is good idea for missions, LP, better money and higher standings for each NPC corp/faction... *IMHO*

I came back to the game last month and am just in my own corp to avoid Tax doing Highsec stuff. I have started to do a Friday morning Faction warfare roam which is alot of fun. I just cant seem to find the right Nullsec corp to join to many Politics and paranoid people...
Ok then get multiple monitors, a powerful computer. And fast internet. Lag needs to be less than 75 milliseconds to the CCP eve online server. Then set up multiple accounts. And be ready to use 2 or 3 accounts at the same time when playing with out your team. Now you are ready to play eve online.
I cant even get through the EVE tutorial - the skill activation to obtain experience. after hours of searching google and hours of restarting the tutorial i finally gave up.
Where to start in EVE: Stay in HS. Put on a Salvager on your Combat Cruiser and salvage the wrecks After combat.. Mine Lookouts and Rogue Drone Asteroid Infestation after destroying the NPC rats.
It seems the game is geared towards combat, versus any kind of long term profit making game play? ;-)
The game has a fully fledged economy with every single shot of ammo, ship, ship module is made by players, traded by players, made by minerals mined by other players. No other game has the complexity of economics, closest thing would be x4 foundations but its singleplayer.
Make an alpha, look at space for a while, uninstall. Easy. Come back when Sisi is back online.

We start by pressing uninstall and doing something else.

What you do.. is you delete the game and get your life back.. if you want a second job get one that pays.. or a charity doing something good.

Apparently not everything you've done in the game is retroactive for the Career Program.
