Kid rock is truly a living legend. I’m a underground hip hop artist and thru and thru a HipHop head. Don’t really fuck wit rock music. But kid rock (this era kid rock once he went rock/rap) was amazing. Devil without a cause hands down is one of the greatest albums of all time
This was the only time I seen The Rock KID himself I graduate a class of 99 and this is how I celebrate it so glad I did! it was 1999 and it was Woodstock he had the best sex ever on the sat the one and only time I saw him and I got to say never had to go see him again because this was the best show ever the greatest all the greatest were in that air I even graduating class of 99 that’s why I went to Woodstock this is the only greatest show that kid rock ever fucking did!!!!!!! After that show he was my idol in the entertainment industry every fucking stripper every fucking night club there ever was played kid rock songs back in those days and it brought everybody the stage his music he and have to be there it’s still brought everybody the stage this is what made me want to get into the entertainment industry this was literally the best show Kid Rock ever did and he put his whole heart into it and you knew it when you were there he was a motherfucking cowboy and yes when he said where is my fucking cowgirls at I had my hat on I was showing my titties I’m gonna lie that man had all my respect still does I love all of his Nonprofits that’s why I’m starting my own as well!!!.............
I wasn't even really into kid rock back in the day but damn does he do a good show. The energy of Woodstock 99 looked so intense. Maybe a little too intense since we all know how it ended but damn it sure looked fun as hell.
Kid rock is a harder rocking beastie boys, mixed with the range of a country blues legend. What a great concert. Great banter, you can tell kid rock is on top of his game.
He's the only artist that can combine all kinds of music in his playing ( metal, rap, hip-hop, rock, funk, country and everything else ). He rocks. And his band, DAMN their good!
rob's garage He should tour more often, and in Europe! The last time he came to France was in 1998, for the Devil Without A Cause tour! Come back, kid!
Saw him open for Cypress Hill in early 98 in Bloomington IN. And have seen him 4 times since. Kids today will never know how Bad Ass Kid was back then. Way ahead of his time. RESPECT
I’m 25 and seen him 3 times. Twice when I was 19 and once when I was 24. He never disappointed me. I saw Kenny Chesney a few weeks ago, although it was a good show, nothing can beat Kid Rocks pyrotechnics, lasers, and continuous flying of the F bomb in every line, in every song over a loud PA system
Ahead of his time? Pantera was 80s, Korn is from 1990 at latest and Kid Rock came at the end of real rock and real hardcore bands, who is hardcore tough bad ass today? Everybody is pansy and nothing worse than 21st century music
The conditions at this festival were absolutely atrocious but there has never been a greater collection of talent on the stages before or since. I think that’s why many of the attendees said it was three days of hell but they’d do it again in a heartbeat.
The problem was having the guys who promoted the first woodstock, promote the second one 30 years later. They had zero grasp of the music of the late 90's. They were promoting the woodstock from 69, peace and love, and booking bands like Korn, Limp Bizkit, and Kid Rock. The promoters were so far out of their depth. Completely delusional thinking that this concert would have any resemblance of peace and love.
The order of the bands was a big part of the problem early on. Then it started to fall off the rails. I wanted to go so bad but didn't have the money to get there and my parents would have killed me.
I’ve seen Kid rock live more than any other form of entertainment and I can say I have always been more than shocked at how incredible of an artist performer GENUIS he truly is
The mainstream will make you think he was some trashy one hit wonder no talent musician but in reality he is a genius and an incredible showman. I am so blessed to have been a teenager in the 90’s. What an epic era for live music.
What an entertainer this man is. One of the greatest openings I’ve ever seen. Joe C died the year after this. I come back to this video all the time, thanks for posting!

Not a fan of Kid Rock but THIS is how you put on a show, pure entertainment. You would have to be stupid not to give him or his band credit, dude had the crowd eating from the palm of his hand before he even stepped on the stage
So it’s my third time watching this in the last 15 hours. The opening was just amazing . The finale when Kid Rock was conducting the band , and then the display of hard work and talent on many instruments was beyond epic .
Kid Rock was the first concert I ever went to in 98 when I was 14 at Nautica, an outdoor venue in Cleveland, and while I'm not the biggest kid rock fan at this point in my life, I gotta say, they put on a great show! Plus at 14, drinking and smoking, seeing shirtless chicks everywhere, experiencing my first pit, it was amazing!
I love watching this performance occasionally as it is great 👍 I love at the end when he plays the instruments, then rules the band AND even the audience with the drumsticks, and of course the final with all flying in the air 😊 It's AWESOME, I don't know how he has the physical strength to do all that !!! Also , heck, this was like 23 years ago and he shows and tells everyone his appreciation for "us" , he shows the platinum album !!! And more gratitude!!! As I comment here, it's 10/08/22 and I believe the last show of his "Bad Reputation" is tomorrow night. It's time to retire , at least from big venue tours. We will all miss him but it is his time to enjoy family , etc. with the new grandson due any day. I will ALWAYS keep up and watch and listen to him, cuz I always get something new or more of ALL of his performances. I just want to thank him and hope he's happy 🌈❤️ GOD BLESS YOU , Kid Rock 🙌😎🌹💐🎉

Matter of fact, that's what introduced me to these guys. I think I've got a tear in my eye, seeing and hearing this really takes me back to the days when I thought I was a young thug. 😆 Oh brother the phases I went through. 😖 Lol, thanks for sharing.

Have to say it again, I am not a Kid Rock fan, but the show is amazing, one you want to be at. Therefore I come back to this at least once a week....and that in 2021!
What a great weekend, two girls pissed off the stairs of the busses, lost two of our friends, blotter acid kicked in when we stepped off the bus onto the grounds and greeted by two dreadlocked dudes with more earrings and face rings than humanly possible that said “welcome to the show”.... Kings X, Candlebox and the Kid Rock Band were incredible gifts. Thanks Woodstock Never forget this show, packet store ran out of booze, shopping cart vendors trading beer for weed, tents sliding in the rain, crow-boy on top of ports-potties minutes before they toppled, water bottle raid, deer running through the crowds, naked hippies and boobs everywhere, everyone enjoying themselves even when it all fell apart...I hope to see you again Kathy and Lindsey xxoo And So much more... Was goooooooood
100,000 glow sticks lights up the sky after the 18 wheeler’s got raided while everything was in flames on the ground tripping my ballsss off. Me and my boy somehow got on right bus with only the clothes we had on. Remember thinking I was staring at the northern lights as were leaving. There still no words to explain what Fatboy Slim in the airplane hanger all night/morning was like. Think it’s the only shows not to be recorded there.
Fun Fact for us 90's kids out there (I was actually born in 1983, but, well, you know what I mean). That 70's Show originally aired in 1998, with the setting of the show being held in 1976, 22 years earlier. If they made a show now from 22 years ago, it would be That 90's Show, being held in 1998.

I really like his later country music and I think he's a really good dad and granddad. I hope he continues to put out music and perform. It would be great if he came to Australia and I'd love to see him if that happened. BTW I've got my 15 year old grandson into Kidsusic. BTW I think we had a lot more sex than you guys ever did. Kid rock is truly a living legend. I’m a underground hip hop artist and thru and thru a HipHop head. Don’t really fuck wit rock music. But kid rock (this era kid rock once he went rock/rap) was amazing. Devil without a cause hands down is one of the greatest albums of all time
Kid Rock!! True AMERICAN BAD ASS! Best live performance I have ever watched! Love this man!
Kid rock entered the stage like a wwe wrestler
Like the godfather
@Boobie Baabie uh oh fV vs vl I'm so I'm
I'm
As he should.
I was there. It was the shit.
The late 90's was when America was at it's best and at it's peak. We'll never see times like those ever again
bro you know they were dancing in shit and piss at this woodstock right?
@@kentris99 I'd gladly dance in shit and piss than live in todays America
😂😂😂the 90s sucked dick compared to the 70s
@@ACG7001 Not for economic prosperity and technological advances
Nah...1995 was at America's best
I wasn't even really into kid rock back in the day but damn does he do a good show. The energy of Woodstock 99 looked so intense. Maybe a little too intense since we all know how it ended but damn it sure looked fun as hell.
Erbody said they would do it again.but you are correct
We loved intense back then. We loved seeing how intense it would get…. And then we would get too intense!
If I'd been older than 14... goddammit. Born too fucking late.
The sad thing is , what could we construct if we channeled that same energy, constructively. To this day not enough of us have realized this.
On this 4th of July I drink Listerine & dance about to honor his genius.
rob's garage He should tour more often, and in Europe! The last time he came to France was in 1998, for the Devil Without A Cause tour! Come back, kid!
She is one hell of a good time, and I know she is all right I've heard her before
She's been screaming in my ear the whole time the damn thing was going on I couldn't get it to shut up
Colin Haynes And Faith No More!
Incorrect - you were not there
And kid rock was none of what you said. He was not a bad ass and not ahead of his time
Ahead of his time? Pantera was 80s, Korn is from 1990 at latest and Kid Rock came at the end of real rock and real hardcore bands, who is hardcore tough bad ass today? Everybody is pansy and nothing worse than 21st century music
22 years ago! This aged well. I remember Kid Rock playing at "woodstock" was controversial. Looking back on it... This was awesome!
not 22 years ago...
It really was….until Sunday night
Greatest entrance in rock and roll history 💪💪💪
Ozzfest in the US & Dynamo Festival in Netherlands between 1996 & 1998 had BETTER artists than this "Woodstock", but yes, lot of good bands here!
That’s a far reach saying there’s never been a greater collection of talent lol
I've seen festivals with better line-iups.
The order of the bands was a big part of the problem early on. Then it started to fall off the rails. I wanted to go so bad but didn't have the money to get there and my parents would have killed me.
I’ve seen Kid rock live more than any other form of entertainment and I can say I have always been more than shocked at how incredible of an artist performer GENUIS he truly is
I believe you... i can feel the energy of this perform from the video.
The mainstream will make you think he was some trashy one hit wonder no talent musician but in reality he is a genius and an incredible showman. I am so blessed to have been a teenager in the 90’s. What an epic era for live music.
Slayer live is better. Lol
We were there!!! So hot and dehydrated… but damn when Kid Rock came out it was on!!!
What an entertainer this man is. One of the greatest openings I’ve ever seen. Joe C died the year after this. I come back to this video all the time, thanks for posting!
Kid Rock is a legend! I cannot believe what I just witnessed! A legend!
Shut the fuk up with that Legend shit
If I could go back and hit the pause button during this time period of the late 90's early 2000's I would. What a time we had.
Love the drum player. You go girl.

Not a fan of Kid Rock but THIS is how you put on a show, pure entertainment. You would have to be stupid not to give him or his band credit, dude had the crowd eating from the palm of his hand before he even stepped on the stage
One of the best entrances ever. This and Axl Rose's entrance to Bohemian Rhapsody at the Freddie Mercury Tribute.
So it’s my third time watching this in the last 15 hours. The opening was just amazing .
The finale when Kid Rock was conducting the band , and then the display of hard work and talent on many instruments was beyond epic .
He’s a multitasker
That was the shortened performance on the instruments he played way more than that on normal shows the banjo he can rip on that
One of the best shows in Woodstock 99!
Yes it was!!
Bush,Kid Rock, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Korn, Metallica,Off Spring. In that order
I love watching this performance occasionally as it is great 👍 I love at the end when he plays the instruments, then rules the band AND even the audience with the drumsticks, and of course the final with all flying in the air 😊
It's AWESOME, I don't know how he has the physical strength to do all that !!!
I was there bud... Him and limp Bizkit blew the whole weekend away!!! 🤘😜🍻🇨🇦
This is so sick!!!!! You will not get a bigger entrance to a show than this!!!! Absolutely insane!!!!
41:22...Those two have been forever immortalized.

Probably sagging below her hips today.🤷♂️

I'm just thankful for the internet. I would've never thought that I would get to see Mr. Rock in person without it. Pop used to blast this shit out of the stereo in car rides when I was little. Matter of fact, that's what introduced me to these guys. I think I've got a tear in my eye, seeing and hearing this really takes me back to the days when I thought I was a young thug. 😆 Oh brother the phases I went through. 😖 Lol, thanks for sharing.
42:37 Incredible Fill cross-sticking the toms and hi-hat and she still nails the background vocals.
Not enough respect for Kid Rocks set here in ‘99. Legendary.

Holy fucking shit the ending to this set was insane with the bottles flying all over the place.
Chris Wolff ...at the time I thought this artist was the biggest tool for putting us at risk like that! This moment (bottles flying) set the tone for what was to come... my dad was like, “yeah time to go.” Unfortunately never made it to the end of this “Woodstock.” 😏

I never wanted to play drums more than after watching this video! STEPHANIE!
Kid Rock was the coolest man on the planet in 1999
That's not even close to true.
🤣 what?
What a great weekend, two girls pissed off the stairs of the busses, lost two of our friends, blotter acid kicked in when we stepped off the bus onto the grounds and greeted by two dreadlocked dudes with more earrings and face rings than humanly possible that said “welcome to the show”.... Kings X, Candlebox and the Kid Rock Band were incredible gifts.
Thanks Woodstock
Never forget this show, packet store ran out of booze, shopping cart vendors trading beer for weed, tents sliding in the rain, crow-boy on top of ports-potties minutes before they toppled, water bottle raid, deer running through the crowds, naked hippies and boobs everywhere, everyone enjoying themselves even when it all fell apart...I hope to see you again Kathy and Lindsey xxoo
And So much more...
Tripping at this event? You must be a professional. I mean that in a positive way.
Fuck off don't remind me :)
Yeah, and that reminds me there was also a show called that 80s show but it sucked and they canceled it right away
Mate my oldest son was born in 1982.and I was born 17years earlier.I thought Kid Rock was a bit of a wanker but I love him now. That is the best concert gig I ever saw!! Kid Rock is amazing and I bet he was the best show at woodstock99. And he was only 28 years old.
