They will last for years no doubt. I used mine for about 5 months non stop, & overall it held out great, until I got something too stubborn. As for fuel efficiency, nothing changed. It's just not enough to effect a larger vessel.
They make 'keel guard' which are made out of a hard rubber so they absorb most the impact from things and dont cause much drag, we have a lot of rocks in our region so we use them up here, they are expensive though. You might be able to fashion something from the hardware store
That isn’t real rhino liner. The real stuff has-to be sprayed at a shop on and is a two part mixture. That looks like herculiner or other similar brand. There is a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE in the durability.
I hope it lasts a good long time. I'm wondering how it will effect your fuel efficiency. But think that will be minimal.

I like it. Simple and cheap. Against the stigma of b.o.a.t. (bust out another thousand).
Same thought here. Very effective for the price. But it's not a true keel guard. Still worth it tho for the type of protection it offers.

If you prepped it that way the liner would have adhered

Looks like it wasn't cured all the way
