      @@LTLM08 If you are fine with a bigger phone, get the S24+. Its battery life is way better due to a much bigger battery (about 20% longer). But anyways, the battery life of the S24 is not too bad, but also not outstanding, pretty average. You will get through the whole day for the first 1-2 years when the battery is still near 100% capacity.

    Some youtuber test the temperature of S24 and S24plus exynos in games. The result show that S24 have 1-2 degree celcius more than the Plus version in 30 minutes of gaming. The S24 also throttle faster to more or less than 30fps while the Plus have slightly higher fps in throttle mode. Both cap at 47degree celcius. Both reach throttle mode slowly but smoother until reaching the stable lowest fps possible unlike Xiaomi 14 which maintain longer highest fps but soon throttle down but struggle to maintain performance in throttle mode. In camera test from various source show that exynos version have superior processing in video and camera to snapdragon version. Also compare to Xiaomi 14 the S24 have better video quality front and rear camera but losing to picture mode. Comparing to S23 the predecessor have oversharpen image processsing but S24 have more natural look.

      Thank you for your feedback! amazing information. For anyone having a Xiaomi 14 at the same price as the S24 I would strongly recommend it, unfortunately in Europe a Xiaomi costs +1000EUR whereas an S24 costs close to 600EUR for the same storage.

This clearly indicates battery is not optimized ... also oneplus has great battery life with snap gen 3.. exynos is still very inferior chip set

      As you can see with this year's Exynos, it's actually very comparable with the normal S8Gen3 in terms of Battery efficiency and Performance.
      I was always a team Snapdragon, but this year the difference really shrunk to the point of insignificance.

      The 15 Pro has a much better "point and shoot" camera and selfie camera, but the S24 is not far behind, and I think the android experience combined with One UI more than makes up for it.

    So would you recommend this phone for normal usage without much gaming. Just for normal browsing, chatting, videos and calls.
    Battery and performance is the main thing for me. If both these factors are comparable to snapdragon gen 3 then it's ok

    • @666marq
      @666marq 7 месяцев назад

      You don't need top notch performance for basic usage. If you don't play games much, look for a phone that is more of a camera than portable console.

    • @abhishekchandrappa5384
      @abhishekchandrappa5384 7 месяцев назад

      @@666marq this is for long term usage. So even basic applications should be Swift and not feel laggy and battery should be sufficient for such basic usage. If this doesn't work efficiently during initial few months then long term would not be good.

    • @666marq
      @666marq 7 месяцев назад

      @@abhishekchandrappa5384 I see, but still, just think about it, whether you need a phone that does 1,8M score in antutu even for 3 years. I bet you're not going to use this 5 years or more as there will be phones that you'd like to get, like this one. If you're not into gaming, even something around 1M in antutu will do for a pretty long time. As for battery, you'll need to change it or change the phone anyway, no matter what you get. So if it's not just your vain desire to buy a fresh flagship to flash around, that's not economically or practically justified.

    • @abhishekchandrappa5384
      @abhishekchandrappa5384 7 месяцев назад

      @@666marq Actually I'm one of the remaining ones who doesn't change phones for a long time. My last buy was over 6 years and that wasn't even a flagship then. So,my main priority is long term usage with no problems like battery drain, heating issues, lagging and apps getting stuck while doing normal browsing and chatting, software/security updates running out etc. Gaming is out of the question. Budget is not an issue and that's why given my requirements only flagships work for me but I'm sort of confused between s24 and iPhone 15. iPhone is quite slow compared to this.

    • @666marq
      @666marq 7 месяцев назад

      @@abhishekchandrappa5384 Ok, so if it's like that, I'd be leaning towards s24 rather than iP15 especially atfer that fuss over Apple slowing down their devices with updates. It surely is a thing on Android devices but most likely would be that you just won't be getting current Android versions and you'll go for LineageOS. Your phone gets a new life this way without any slowings that are artificially created to make you buy a newer phone, so s24 seems to be safer, more lasting solution for you. And as you said, s24 is faster, actually iPhone is only better for sharing photos or videos on social media.
