    Thank you guys so much for gettin' back on the horse and keeping going! I think a GREAT video for the future would be bushing removal/installation for the various parts. There really aren't any good videos around on how to knock them out, what tools, etc..... would be an excellent addition to your new channel.
    Thanks again, stay well!

    That is a proper amount of carnage! Love to see them toasted and all the parts going in the trash! Just goes to show that Richard inspects so closely and builds back with quality when another shop would just throw a set of clutches and seals in and send it.

    THE HOLDEN T700R4 FROM 1988 through 1991 had the TV operated transmissions with the transducer speedo sensor with the spiral drive output shaft. 1993 onwards with the Buick V6 and Holden V8 used the 4L60E which looked like the T700R4 rear extension. Full 4L60E wasn’t really in Australia until around 1996. GM Hey!

    I really enjoy watching your videos and I understand you know what you doing but sometimes your just going to fast. I understand it would be a very long video, but it would still be cool to have the video so I can use it in a realistic manner, or if you can actually give a little bit more on what you’re doing because you can tell that you do know what you’re doing but you’re not explaining why you do it what are you do but you breeze by because you go really fast

      You gotta explain it like you’re a teacher, teaching someone that knows nothing because some people won’t even touch a transmission because they’re intimidating to them.

    I know it's ur way of doing the servo and you like to do it first on the 4l60s but if you do it last from the inside of the transmission you can push the servo out easier.

    This is going to turn out to be one of the greatest videos ever I’ve got three of these 700s that I intend on completing but there’s so many questions one question today that comes to mind is the reverse input drum and Feed hole size and for instance, we do not have the original drum so I do not know the original feed hole size

    Have a fresh rebuilt 700 with a trans go manual valvebody kit, installed and have no 1st gear, it will bog the engine down but won’t move, all other gears are fine what should I be looking for? Tore it down and double checked the sprags and they are correct, Teflon rings looked good, 55H check ball was missing but shouldn’t make a difference for this issue? Any help would be great thanks!

      700r4 has gone through a lotta changes in its years first is the 700R4/ 4l60 / 4l60e /4l65e /4l70e the 4L60 was only made for a few years with lots of changes done to the transmission in that year case change, clutch change, valve body spacer plate change forward, accumulator added forward, clutch stacking change load Springs added in the 3/4 Clutch area

    Could really use some advice. I have a 4L60 case that someone hammered the check ball in the 3-4 accumulator hole, that you always say, "You can't go back". My question is, do I still need to block off the hole with the piston even though the check ball was hammered in there? Please help! Thank you.

      I would still stack the pistons

    • @panwolf1969
      @panwolf1969 Год назад

      I appreciate the response. I am going to use "Pin less" pistons in the 1/2 accumulator and the Aux. Valve Body. Then, I will do what you suggest and just install the pin in the 3/4 accumulator and use two pistons with some washers to fill in the 3/4 accumulator. Thank you again for the information!
