@@spaceghost4474 We would agree with that. We'd put them, Roku, and Pluto, at the top, then FreeVee would be at or near the top for the next best services.
Thanks for all the information on FreeVee. I am a Prime member and will take a look at FreeVee on my laptop PC. Nice to have all these free streaming services beside the few premium ones I have. Most of the free streaming services I don't mind the Ads, gives me time to take an Eye break from staring at my 40 inch LCD screen. Most the Free streaming content I have seen several times, but it is nice to see them again if there is nothing new on the Premium services. Thanks and take care.
It's definitely worth trying, especially if you've not tried it in the past. Agreed, it is nice to see the growth in the free, ad-supported space. That's the nice thing about some of the platforms as they're now creating their own originals so it's not just that sit back kind of content that you just have on in the background. 🙂
The price is right, so I have it on my Roku and of course I can watch it in Prime Video too. I'm a Perry Mason junkie, so I need Freevee to get my fix. 😁😉
I love Freevee. I'm currently binge-watching Hart of Dixie, Leverage, and Person of Interest! I'm trying to find the name of a movie I watched today, but you have no "recently watched" section. 😞
We won't be using Freevee anymore- we tried to watch Bad Times at the Royale but had 5 minute ads interrupting the movie evry ten minutes. It go so bad, we left and tried to find it on another channel, but couldn't so of course when we went back, we had to watch a new 5 minutes of commercials
Hey John and Nicole, You've probably been asked this before but I want to get rid of paying my local Big Brother and turn in their box. Will it still work (downloading Freevee) ?? I have an LG smart TV so should I buy a Firestix or a Roku box ?? Thanks, Greg
The one thing I really hate about freevee is the placement of their ads. It gets annoying seeing an ad in the middle of a scene. Like ya couldn't wait til the scene was over? It's like RUclips. They'll put an ad anywhere they want
Tried to download the app on a Samsung phone and is keeps saying my region is not supported. I am in the DFW area of Texas and didn't know Amazon doesn't support the USA.
The worst part is that the ads are inserted at random times, no thought given to the process at all. They stop right in the middle of a sentence to take a 2 minute break. They aren't even 5-second ads like RUclips uses.
Did I hear correctly, that the streaming channels are only available when watching via FireTV/Firestick? If I did hear correctly, then I know I'm not going mad. I tried it on my Samsung SmartTV and on my ROKUs. All are working properly, except that the option of streaming of channels is not visible.
Hmm, not that we're aware of. We've watched the streaming channels on our Roku. So, are you meaning you're only able to watch stuff like movies in FreeVee?
@@FrugalRules Yes, correct, but to clarify, I am referring to the EPG guide like the way PlutoTV uses. I see the popular live channels, but do not see the channels in the way that Pluto, Xumu, Plex, ot Tubi displays them. I could have sworn I've seen that previously in Freevee, but maybe I am incorrect.
@@louisd95714 Just did a quick look to double check and there is not EPG on Freevee. We checked on our Roku and FireTV and while there are live tv streaming channels, it's just a row on the home page. There is no grid-like guide like there is with Pluto and Tubi. So, you're not losing your mind :) Just not a feature they have. Hopefully they'll add that in the future as it is nice to have.
We wouldn't avoid them, there are some really good, legit, free apps available. :) We use them quite often to watch a movie or TV show, even if it's just to have something on in the background. As long as you don't mind some ads, free services can be a great option to keep costs down.
Freevee has been getting worse the past year or so. First, loading the next episode after the previous one ends doesn't work very often. It will skip an episode. Second, the commercial breaks have gotten more frequent and longer, up to 3 minutes in some cases. I would give the app 5 out of 10 stars. Decent but not great.
What’s your favorite free ad-supported streaming service?
I like Tubi the best.
IMO it has a much better selection.

Freevee show 'Sprung' is hilarious. I love it.
I like the app, their shows and movies selection is really good, and I don't find the ads annoying.
We'll have to check it out, we've not watched it.

Freevee is not available everywhere. It's only available in the US. Need a VPN for outside
Bosch is on Freevee!
Not a good thing, 2 minutes of ads every 5 minutes is a disservice to everyone who canceled cable
I think you're exaggerating@@Arnomous

As fond as I am of K-State, my SDSU Aztecs may not be denied this year!

Freevee ruined prime video
do i have to sign in to save a watchlist? also is there 4k content?
Tried to download the app on a Samsung phone and is keeps saying my region is not supported. I am in the DFW area of Texas and didn't know Amazon doesn't support the USA.
I've downed freevee on my Samsung phone. Now it tells me it's downloaded but I have no icon. How do I find it?
The prroblem with live tv for me is I can't watch what I want on my time schedule.
NO. 2 minutes to the end of the show, they start another video. The videos restart and then the audio is delayed. Perry Mason especially. JUNK!!!

@@FrugalRules OK, many thanks for checking! What confused me the most is that the channels do appear via the Amazon Channel guide.
I like the interphase but I still give the edge to Tubi as far as interphase is concerned
It isn't all that, there r moments where when u select a Film to watch within Freevee it starts playing something else or there is No sound
I Like freevee Watching
Watching TV Shows
Falcon Crest 1981-1990
In Plain Sight 2008-2011
Night Court 1984-1992
Roku channel is far better than Freevee in my opinion, variety, and less commercial interruptions…
Yes amazing shows
Thanking you again for your wonderful, informative videos (go KState!).
Ok, it’s free! Well worth it!
I like to watch "Corner Gas" and "Corner Gas Animated" there. It helps humanize Canadians by taking the focus off their big cities.
I have a personal issue that for some reason, when I see a TV app is free, I tend not to use it, but it's just me.

It’s free so why not???
Because I am already paying for Amazon Prime, that's why. Why are they force-feeding me FreeVee? I can't figure out how to get rid of it.
Pity you cannot get this for the Kindle fire.
Do you know anything about motion tv, or fire stick channels or American tv. I get emails from them and you get 1000’s of channels for 14.99 a month
There is too many commercials even if it is free. can't get interested in movies for the interruptions.
I like freevee I only watch tv series. I don’t watch any movies due to editing of the original.
I want to watch a show again it will not let me

If you enjoy a service that peddles useless drugs in its commercials to stupid people, well... then it's the greatest service ever.

👍🏻
I hate free we. I will cancel my Amazon account if I can not delete.
3 commercials every 10 minutes. Awful awful awful app. Even if it is free.
PLEX
Freevee isn't bad using it in a browser with an ad block.
