I was " WTF did I just got kill with ??? A single Punch of a Mushroom ??? Is that correct Miyazaki ??? And then I laughed the rest of my game that day 🤣🤣🤣
20:17 That’s Gilbert with the straight sword. He’s not too much trouble. The one inside the room with the spear is Harvey. He’s an absolute bastard, I hate him. The one right in front of the chests with their armour in is Ivor. Ivor’s new to the job. They told him to guard the chests, so he’s guarding the chests. Anything more than guarding the chests is above his pay grade. He doesn’t want to get involved in the fighting, that’s why he has a really short aggro range. I kind of feel sorry for Ivor.
how could you forget the blowdart snipers from blightown... they promote exploration to find the entities shooting at you and provide a challenge to runs through the area
Basilisks: once you're cursed the first time and walk all the way to Oswald, you then get so scared of them. And then the weird creatures from Duke's archives prison. Both deserved Top 10 for sure! Keep up your hard work :)
Oh nice this is gonna be interesting. Im excited to see your favourite enemies in Bloodborne or Elden Ring! My favourites have to be Old Hunters, Chapel Giants, Shark Giants and Crucible Knights.
The titanite demon in anor londo was to me the most memorable. I like how that dark room hidden behind the illusory wall contains a mimic and havels set but you first start to hear the things breathing from the floor above you, misleading you into thinking that the demon is below you, only to find a mimic instead. When I killed the mimic and still heard the sound, I was starting to freak out, like something was going to ambush me from behind, so I quickly ran back upstairs
I recently tried to replay DS but got stuck on Capra Demon. Got mad and played the other Souls games. I found your channel recently and it’s getting me the motivation to try again in the og DS since I’ve never actually beaten it and got stuck on Manus years ago. Keep up the good work!
I love the anor londo sentinels, as the first time I entered the city, I thought they were statues until they moved and I was like “oh crap! That’s an enemy!” Before running in the other direction. But my favorite enemy is the stone giants in the dlc. I like how heavy and lumbering they are, with them grunting and ripping their clubs out of the ground for the follow up attack, really displaying their power. I also like that section below the cliff immediately after the first look at kalameet, which you can see the giants walking around, and looking off into the distance like they are searching for you. It really gives the impression that they are actively hunting you down throughout the forest, which makes the quiet serenity of the royal wood all the more sinister
Here’s hoping for the Fire Witches to make it into the best enemies for DS3. Easily some of the most interesting enemies especially with their placement and fantastic armor set
It's interesting how different stances on parrying can be. I never use it because it always seems such a boring mechanic, where it just feels like a quicktime event where all I have to do is press the parry button at the right time. Cool list as always though!
I have only one problem with the silver knights and its not their fault. They teach you to parry like no one else in the game, seemingly preparing you for something... and then you face a boss like Ornstein who seems like you should be able to parry him after all that training, but you can't.
I've softlocked the hydra before. I was amazed I did, and thankful I had a bow and a whole bunch of arrows to shoot it from the riverbank until it died.
This list really shows how many great enemies there are in Dark Souls. I think that mimics left the biggest impression on me tho. On the other hand, I would have never put the Hydras anywhere near my top ten as fighting them is so unenyoable for me.
i find that a lot of the weaker enemies such as the undead burg hollows or the blighttown ghouls tend to get overlooked in these kind of list. Sure they aren`t the most impressive foes on their own but they have very tightly designed movesets and encounters, especially in the early game.
Me when they're going to be in my worst enemies list on Friday. I'm sorry, they drove me up the wall my first time through even if I respect their design.
@@BillySYT I hear ya. They’re definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. I just feel like they represent Blighttown perfectly. Super obnoxious for no other reason than to be super obnoxious.
@@BillySYT The Titanite Demon on the bridge into Lost Izalith is EVEN HARDER. In fact, this guy is the hardest Titanite Demon in the game and it respawns.
The Titanite Demons feel a bit strange to fight for me because of their weird hitboxes being able to hit you with their ring-like blades, their staffs and their tailes. But they can teach you, that a right positioning in a fight against an enemy can decide about life or death, or at least can make the fight a lot easier when being in a position, where the enemy can't hit you.
Nothing ever beats getting one punched by the mushrooms for the first time

Solid list, although I would’ve liked to see Berenike Knights get a mention
The mushroom baby’s they make the saddest noise when you kill them and the clams wearing high heels
I can’t believe you put mushrooms as a favourite enemy... they are friends...

Awe... i saw those very fistable pigs and was sad when you pivoted to the hydras... lmfao
Thank you for yet another wonderful video
Referring to the dark sorceresses in Oolacile as 'slaying, serving c0ñ0' was something I was NOT prepared for

Man, halfway through the video I noticed that you sound a lot like Stolas from Helluva boss, AND NOW I CAN’T STOP HEARING HIM!!! Nice video btw!
I really love how the Titanite Demons can drop their weapon. It's a pretty rare drop, but a cool unique weapon
I've softlocked the hydra before. I was amazed I did, and thankful I had a bow and a whole bunch of arrows to shoot it from the riverbank until it died.
AAhhhh congrats about moving to your new home ^^ yipiii!!! And my favourite enemie is the Vagrant, or the Pisaca

The titanite demon in anor londo, in that tiny room, is by far the hardest encounter in the outside the dlc lol.
I genuinely don't think I've ever killed it.

No Dragon butts? 😢
a shit im trying a sl1 run and realized how much the hydras are gonna suck. Time to look up some strats.
Funny how the Silver takes the gold on this one.
The feel good track from lies of p
I swear that silver knight wielding the spear on the way to O&S is un-parryable.
He definitely is, the stairs are probably what messes you up though

Hornifex, my beloved 😍
So you’re the guy leaving all these messages in Elden Ring “try, but hole”
The rats are the best because farming them in Dark Souls 1 for humanity allowed me to save Solaire
can you do the same with demon souls? (if you want)
I'd like to do versions for every game if I can
Do it!
Oh yes :)

Yey! Enemies! WE love them!
Titanite demons a favourite enemy? They're really not fun at all.
