Ronja the Robber's Daughter: Part 1 | Official clip | Netflix
/ @netflixnordic
Loving, loyal and unafraid, the daughter of a wanted robber chief makes a secret friend in her father's magical and treacherous forest. - Развлечения
This makes me want more fantasy horror! Like a horror fellowship of the ring type movie!
this bring me "the seventh son" vibes
The wheel of time if done right was supposed to be fantasy horror. Even the Witcher could've done it better. Ah well
And again a series which doesn't respect the source material. This has almost nothing to do with the book
That'd be dope af
Same!!
I would watch it only for the harpies! DAMN! What a animation and concept design!
amazing to see more scandinavian stories/shows on netflix
Holy, I'm hooked from just the trailer
That's how a proper trailer is made.
I really wish we could have some more indoor European myth stories done in a serious and grim way. The Irish Tuáth dé Dannan, the Norse Aesir , Vania et al., the Welsh Mabinogion, even the Bhagavad Ghita with Arjun and Krishna. Man, even if we went to Africa and told the Orishas' tales....there are so many incredibly powerful and magnificent stories that I so wish we could tell.
One of my most beloved childhood books. Astrid Lindgren is one of the best child books writters
Same. I also have a copy of Ronja Rövardotter (1984) that I still love to watch. I haven't seen this Netflix adaptation yet, but I'm excited to see it.
Much scarier than the previous versions, these look like Vaesen, like the Trolls and Huldras. Swede here, if your wondering.
Do you know more like this
@lichang3134 yes, and the Vittrorna in the movie look very ugly and not very scary like series version.
Ronja! Stories of my childhood ❤
Aah, it was my favorite book growing up 🥰 soo soo excited to see it in a movie version. I hope it will be good 🤞🏻 🍀
there is already a movie version which is very good :)
i read the book so many times when i was 9. nice to see it made into a series
Can't wait for part2
Ouuu this look good!! Look like I gotta break out the ol VPN for this one
Omg. My favorite book😊
Tell me more about it! What is it about?! I had never heard of it! 😁
Oh, this looks really good...snatched my attention like an Edgar A Poe Poem
Released March 28th? Today is April 21st and I don’t see it…
Ronja the Robber’s Daughter” will drop on Netflix in the Nordics, CEE, U.K., France, Spain and the Netherlands 2024
Your gonna need a VPN to watch it.
😢
OR TORRENT 👀
The animated TV show I use to watch on Amazon Prime is really good. I hope the live action film or series will be awesome just like the animated series.
Really good
I hope it lives up to the original ❤ but so happy to see that they are finaly making it happen with more modern visuals! Gooo! RONJA !!!
now i want to see this
This looks great.
Looks awesome!
This looks interesting, hope it'll be aired on Netflix Germany, too :)
OK I’m invested
I'm so excited about this and can't wait. I love the anime version of this story.
Let me pay my subscription now 😂
I’ve only watched the cute version, which was great, this looks so dark 😯 can’t wait to see it!
Their is an anime of this in japan. It is pretty good.
Title pls..
@@MsMochi-wp1dg Sanzoku no Musume Ronja
Nice once had a myna bird as a pet once
Grew up with Astrid Lindgren stories, interessting take on this, will tune in!
Moira Rose looks amazing.
Honestly, not the best series I've seen. Long lengths, little action, but Ronja and his “brother” are endearing enough that I found myself wanting to see the second season.😊
What other series would you suggest
@@esmeelin5435 actual or past ?
bring this to Brazil as well
WOAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!,
Got real Dark Souls vibes from this.
why the bird kinda hot
To be honest, it seems that harpies are an expression of some kind of "sublime" attractiveness that is not related to "cakes and boobies". You can even call it elegance. The appeal is so low-key that it is actually secretive. As a woman with incredibly good taste in clothes, who will wear not an evening dress with a slit across the entire back, but something else, but emphasizing her individual beauty.
It doesn't slide into anime-style sexualization or furry art, but it's also not as rejecting as in mythology.
Harpies in this interpretation are attractive, I suppose, because of how unobtrusively they are made attractive.
In other words, excessive sexualization, as the Japanese like it, kills the attractiveness of the female monster as well as the male monsters. We have to stop somewhere in the middle, which is what they did in this show. EVEN IF UNCONSCIOUSLY.
Not available in Netflix Asia???
Oooo, I really loved the anime
When will this come to US Netflix?
Right! I can't find nothing!
I’m gonna look on 123 movies😊
Thats so spooky
Definitely a good idea to not pull the trigger on the magical raptor figure.
Where IS the show? The netflix link doesn’t take you to this show’s page.
You didn't hear this from me, but you can use a VPN to connect to Europe, and it'll appear on the list.

Get a VPN.
It's not in America either
Mi vieja wey...
Hey Netflix, why does it say you don’t have Ronja on the Netflix app?
did not find the series on Netflix, why?
I tried searching the series Ronja the 'Robber's daughter' on netflix but i cant find it. Is this not available on Indian location.
Glad Netflix finally understood that trailers shouldn’t give you the whole plot line and best scenes.
Quando chega aqui no Brasil???
Também não estou conseguindo assistir na netflix
Talvez nunca mas tem a versão em anime
La serie actualmente no sale en el catalogo de netflix norteamerica
Quando vai emtrsr

You can’t just show a bird creature and go “Yeah, that’s gonna get them to watch the show.”💀
And that really get :D
Dude it’s the anime an Amazon orginal??? Eh well interesting
Why am I only finding out about this.
Was that Moira Rose?!
Pq não tem na Netflix BR?
Só está disponível na Suécia mas tem a versão anime do Studio Ghibli
March 28th?
Seeing the thumbnail I was hoping it would be Korean or Japanese so that the story would be the focus cause it looks like an awesome setting just from this small clip. But it's on Netflix, and it says Daughter. So it will be 10% about the actual story and 90% about her struggles as a young woman and other random "messages"
What? It's a series based on a swedish children's book. And yes, it's about a little girl and her relationship with her father and how she befriends the son of her father's rival.
@@asgo7320 My point was that it does look like a great story. I think this would be an awesome show to watch 5+ years ago. The reason being is because a lot of the newer shows coming out often pull away from the actual story to deliver some sort of message, or because the writers for the show don't like the story.
@@eternalbacon1546 Well, this show doesn't pull away from the actual story. The author of the book, Astrid Lindgren, often wrote about strong young girls, and this story is about that.
but it not released
Ok guys j.. Just hear me out.. The feathers aren't that uncomfortable
i hope it has an English voice dub.
