This clip is all I've ever seen of the show, and it's not good. Bad acting, bad animation. But the comment section is filled with people complaining about those of us who believe the books are better. There's a reason why we get upset - same with other adaptations (LOTR, Shannara): If you're going to honour something by adapting it onto the screen, honour it by adapting it rather than belittling it by making demonstrably bad changes by comparison. I'm absolutely not going to watch this tripe. But people who do watch and enjoy should similarly recognise the bastardisation of a genre classic for the sake of money and eyeballs.

But legend of the seeker was an awesome series
@thandokuhlethando8295 it is awesome. I have the whole book series and have read them 4-5x's. That's why I have a problem with the TV series and movies that don't explain the characters or plots correctly.
@@joemcknel2515 totally agree! fun fact: when Siuan forced the oath on Moiraine, I actually remembered the Power of Orden as it was represented on the show! 😂
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Why is it that people who read books have SUCH HIGH expectations when the books are turned into a show? YOU people do realized that it no show ever made would be like the books right!? It’s not intended to be nore would it be! STOP being BITTER and NEGATIVE and if you like the books at least fake supporting the show even if it bad to you, YOU are ruining for those of us who started an interested on it!!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️
imagine if Lord of the Rings was the same quality as Rings of Power... no one would have gotten interested in the most incredible fantasy world there is. Wheel of Time is the same Way. WoT is second only to LOTR in terms of story and thus the WoT show isn't as good as it could be. It could be on the same level of hype as Dune or Game of Thrones S1-5, but its not and its sad. People will think the story was okay when in reality its pure perfection. The show is "fine" but it could be "perfect" with more budget and loyal writers, but NOW another adaptation attempt will likely never happen for at least 30 years, which you have to admit is sad.
@@lordlucas0392 is the show canceled or is stopping at s3 or something else?
@@vcuuuc6124 not that I know of. S3 was already confirmed before S2 released and did poorly. Unless S3 has an absolute comeback which I hope it does, this show is cooked. They have made improvements since season 1, but if they don’t stop actively ignoring Brandon Sandersons advice, this show will end after S3.
Because, if the showrunners wanted to tell their own story, they should do that. Come up with your own setting, world, etc and do it instead of bastardizing a story because it has a known name and a built in audience. That's what I never get about these loose adaptations where they just do what they want and coat it with the wrappings of the original story. If executives buy the rights to an IP and value it due to its name recognition with a built-in audience, why would you alter the story so heavily? This one is not as bad as Rings of Power on the bad adaptation scale, but too many unnecessary changes, imo. And yes, some of us would rather the show was done to a higher set of expectations than have been done at all.
That said, if you are enjoying it. Enjoy it. Why care if many of the rest of us are disappointed?
no show ever made would be like the books?
i mean, there 4 shows like Game of Thrones n Lord of the Rings. didn't they adapt correctly and the fans loved it? book fans n new fans alike.
what the book readers complain is that the story is sooo much more n is perfect, then why butcher it like this deviate from it that it seems a whole new story. bcz then the ones who've never read the books would think it's how the story is. but it isn't.
instead of introducing new plots n scenes, why not work with the original story?
Absolutely ruined the story. Shameful.
Jordan is turning in his grave.
Whatever TF this is, is not and has never been Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time.
Who writes this shit. I suggest they stick to the books - which are genius level

like where on earth did the idea come from that waygates need channeling to open. they were created for the ogiers, and ogiers DO NOT channel.
why break the whole magic system just so they could give other characters big moments when they r not thiers.
I have read all the books in 3 different languages. I must have read through the series about 10 times throughout the years....
This show is GARBAGE.... A perfect "how not to make a show" guide for future generations...
Honestly, i did not think it was humanly possible to ruin a series to this extent, but it is Netflix's The Witcher all over again ..🤮
Disgusting
Thank you for comments, I don't think we needed to hear it though..now please get lost
@@azaglowilliam6072 why? Cause i do not blindly praise what in my eyes is such a bad creation of the best potential series ever written?
I am no cheep and you telling me to get lost is not 1% more valid than me telling the show runners to get lost.

Overall, the show isnt as good as the books. However, show Lanfear is actually better than book Lanfear.
@@Dman222000 considering how they killed perrin and replaced him with a fraud thats both married and independant, black and with a brand new never heard of personality, making a decent evil character was the very least they could have done.
The lesbian aunty moiraine with her ageless grannyface and her huge rock of a guardian "tiny asian lan" is also on point... They killed the series just with the cast alone.
Then they absolutely took a shit on every single page robert jordan ever wrote.
Why was egwene pushed down a waterfall exactly? Because the showrunners did not like twin river traditions and needed hollywood. Fuck hollywood.
Nyaeve.... Dont even get me started... And Mat.... Jeez...
But the worst of all is Rand.
Seems they were out of budget so they just hired some bloke of the street and gave him boots to almost look a little bit taller than average, a kids tattoo and a bad haircut.
They killed his persona, killed his character, killed his lines and gave him a new story.
His walk trough the forrest with his "dad" took all of 2 minutes as well. The night of struggle, horror and confusion was replaced with a trip to the neighbors house....
This became an unprofessional rant, but it is just what every actual fan ever is thinking....😅😭
We just wanted the best ever product it could be, and got this..
I can't believe they're still throwing money at this dumpster fire. Can we at least stop calling it 'Wheel of Time' since less than 5% of what we see on screen actually happened in the books?
This show is an insult to the author(s) and to generations of fans.
You must be fun
So stop watching and enjoy your books. It’s not rocket science.
@@Damodred_Heiressu ate that
Wow, this is bad.
I think the show is great in my opinion if u read the book and hate show stick with the book and if you love the show stick with show stop trying to get the show canceled this is why I hate book adaptations with book purists
This whole show is an abomination.
This series looks cheap af
again cast moiraine is to be ageless but she looks old
This clip is all I've ever seen of the show, and it's not good.
Why would you want the book to be the same as the show having all the knowledge of what comes next that would be boring a
awful
Again this movie is junk. Follow the story in the books vs thinking you know better. So dissapointing on what is a great story that I have read 3 or more times end to end. I would cuss out these writers thinking they know better.
Book fans always run for their lives to demean a show they could just not watch and ignore and then mock its fans. It’s depressing when the show is your first interaction with the universe and you find it compelling and interesting.
I love reading books, always have, and I hope I never get this entitled and bitter over an adaptation. No matter how much I loved the source material.
I read the first book when I was still in high school. I read them steadily as they were produced. The final book, I read overnight. All 945 pages.
I was looking forward to the series. But what we got was a woke, diversity hire, piece of crap. Visually stunning, but so much of the lore either trashed or tossed aside.
It's an insult and quite frankly, we're going to as vocal as we can about it.
Don't like it? Tough shit.
@@theirancase and point. imagine being this entitled because you read a book. sad, really.
