2025 Ready 1. Q1 Notes 2. January birthdays 3. Holidays 4. Plan out weekend / days off 5. Power standards (25 year vision + 1-5 yr goal) 6. Holiday shopping (no debt)
I know what it's like to be forgotten. My anniversary is in January and my aunt and uncle, too. So, I call her on that day. As for a 25 year vision, I am 63, so I would be 88 or so and not many in my family live that long. I'll do a year at a time. You had a planning video for 2020 that I REALLY liked, so I'm following it again. Finally, you talk about holiday shopping in October. While I don't have a lot of gifts to buy, I LOVE to bake. Why not start early? For me step 1 is SCRUB THAT OVEN. Then, plan the equipment shopping, ingredients shopping and kitchen cleaning. This will allow me to take my time, experiment with my recipes, make more kinds of cookies, double or triple recipes, etc. Thanks for getting me started because the candied cherries are hard to find in December. Sorry for the rant, but maybe it will help someone else.
I am 56 so I get it. I don't want to think about 25 years from now! The only person who needs to remember or anniversary is my husband. It's our day. Even for our 25th, we went to Italy. No big party. We celebrate our 34th in June. My daughters both have birthdays in January, though, so we have worked hard to make those special.
What a fabulously productive way to spend my lunch break. Time to start thinking about my power standards.
