Bought one this week and I have run 6 mags through it. I do love it. I have been looking for a PCC. I was looking at the S&W FPC, but I really did not want a foldable rifle. This made it easy to part with my cash. The only problem I have found is that I have. a problem keeping the mags full.
I'm looking for a rifle but there are so many options. Is this a good first buy (rifle) of this kind? I only have Henry Rifles.
FPC, PPC (interchangeable mag well), .22 Magnum (30-plus-one mag), M&P 5.7, 2.0 metal-framed and competition models, 10mm revolvers & autos, .308-base, 5.56 ARC AR-pattern rifles, loves and protects the 2ad. All in a single year. WOW! The "other guys" are making their new models in black plastic again. Go Smith.
If this came in a 5.7x28mm, I would definitely purchase it.
PURE Quality ! Well made . Super great price! This review was very informative on my purchase ! THANK YOU.
Love it & as well any item that Smith and Wilson comes out with .. I’m Still enjoying my PFC collection
Perfect Timing! I was just about to start looking for a PCC.
I have an M&P and have been looking for a PCC that uses M&P magazines. Looks like a good option.
Just got mine finally fully outfitted with a LPVO 1-6x, 2 point sling, and forend handstop... along with a few Amend 2 fun sticks... can't wait to wring it out on the range!!!😅😅😅
I have one word to say: Nice 😊
Ohhhhh love it!! Thank you S&W!
Put 500+ rounds of 115 and 125 grain FMJ through mine and performed flawlessly, need to see how it does with hollow points. One suggestion, fix the gap between the grip and the frame.
Man, if the fpc had interchangeable mag wells no other 9mm pcc on the market would matter
You like the FPC better than the Response? What makes the FPC so good? I’m interested in one actually.
I have a love-hate relationship with S&W, but once in awhile they do bring a smile to my face. I'm not talking about the Response (but adding the Flexmag system was brilliant move on their part), but of their customer service.
Before release their own 9mm 23rd mag, aftermarket mag extensions were the only option. I have several extension for 23rd capacity, but didn't have a suitable spring to handle a full mag (it ran all ammo, just didn't lock back due to over spring compression for a 17rd spring).
Called S&W customer service, asked if they had the 23rd springs in stock (took awhile, guess they were selling like hot cakes), and I was ready to purchase them, but S&W offered to send 3 of the 9mm 23rd springs for free for being a S&W customer.
Wow! How cool was that?! Thanks again S&W!
Still hoping you guys do a collab with Floyd Customs or Apex Tactical for a limited run specialty gun. Or get with CZ and do a Smython?
I may have to grab one. G17 and g19 compatible mag wise😂. Just like mah sub2000. Love it. Good stuff. ✌️
hey s&w we need the fpc an the response in 10mm!!!!!!
Looks and sounds right.
Wish the r&d put into the glock changing system had been put into an ambi mag release instead. Love my response and that's my one and only complaint.
I have an M&P 9mm pistol. Hard enough and expensive enough to find those mags. My PCC ( Freedom Ordinance ) takes cheap and available Glock mags.
Already have the FPC but if you made this in 45 acp I would definitely buy one!
Ohh yep me too
I love it
Is it available in 10 mm??
I wish it was available in 10mm
Ok, I want one.
I like the concept, but lost interest when you said polymer. Lets see some .40 & 10mm
Now make it out of 7075 aluminum and make one chambered in 10mm please. I own some plastic and I am done with it.
Make that pistol grip available separately. Instant top seller
Just couldn’t stand to say “Glock”🤣
Ever a chance you can make one compatible for us NY PRO 2A citizens..
Polymer sucks for AR type weapons. The levers and pins drag on polymer, where they are nice and smooth in aluminum.
Need to make an upper that has 8" - 10.5 " Barrel and this would make a great gun.
I hope they update this model to have that^
I may still buy this tho lol
I like the concept. I have a few questions:
1) Will a state compliant model be made available?
2) Will a mag well eventually be offered for the: S&W Shield Plus and the Sig P365 or P320?
Then we'll need some 23 round mags for the Shield Plus. I'm in!
A state compliant model?? Sounds like you need to move
Does it come in .45 ACP that can use M1911 magazines?
Shoulda mentioned this before. My bad. I need .45 ACP. I have no need for anything in .355 Parabellum. I am American in CHARACTER well as nationality and am actively purging Metricrap from my use of the language. It is a foreign language pushed by anti-Americans pushing "global norms" (whatever the [Expletive Deleted ] word that is) and
bent on turning us into all the places our ancestors fled from.
Remember, we developed and pioneered the Assembly line and mass production. We know what real football is. We put men on the moon. The rest of the world uses Metricrap.
@@andybreglia9431 LOL, sad. Real football is played around the world and they actually use their feet, hence football, clown.
Any other calibers?
Muy buena carabina, sólo que hubiera sido quizás y sin quizás un diseño BULLPUP, en dónde se mantienen sus características principales, pero se vuelve mucho más manejable en áreas críticas, como el Hogar, la cabina del camión etc..
Will it run Beretta 92 Mags???
When you make that in a 10 mm notify me
Will this be offered in Massachusetts compliant?
5.7?
I’ve been looking for a pcc that I can run my m and p mags in. I can’t wait to get hands on it. I’m curious about ar compatibility. Can you swap out the hand guard with any ar hand guard. And can you drop a different trigger in it
Now make one in 5.7x28 and use the same magazine as your 5.7 pistol! People are begging for good 5.7 rifles. Right now Ruger has the market cornered on the 5.7 pistol/ rifle combo.
WAS going to get the CMMG but now this one came out at HALF the $$$ ...
S&W and CMMG are not even in the same ballpark in terms of quality.
If you have the cash go with a CMMG 100%
@@eliarthur7088 Its not abut not gaving the $$ because i do, but why spend more than double when both will get the same job done.
Its like power tools, why spend double or triple when the lower brand will do the same job.
@@ACommenterOnRUclips Thats a personal choice. I tend to lean into the camp of buying quality over quantity (buy once....cry once).
Not saying this is a bad weapon, but polymer has a finite shelf life (especially as parts heat up and cool off from shooting). Aluminum doesn't have that unless it is contaminated during the manufacturing process or suffers a catastrophic failure.
@@eliarthur7088 well not about guns but i do still have working ryobi tools from 20+ yrs ago that still work today ....
Matter of fact that 7 pc power tool set my girlfriend purchased for me for xmas 20+ yrs ago, each and every one of those 7 power tools are still good today.
And Ryobi is not exactly the best brand out there so ...
But anyways, to each his own i guess
@eliarthur7088 I spent $1613.69 on a CMMG BANSHEE 300MKG 40s&w back October of 2021. Couldn't get through a single magazine without FTEs and double feeds. PMC BRONZE; Federal American Eagle; Federal HST; Speer lawman; Speer gold dot; etc.. And 155gr; 165gr; 170gr; 180gr in each brand. Couldn't get it to run shit. Reached out for months only to have them sell me an action tuning kit, (set of 3 different weights for the bcg) and still couldn't it to run anything consistently. Had my gunsmith try to tune it and was able to get through a magazine or 2 of 180gr Federal American Eagle & HST'S before it started doing the same thing. Found a forum of banshee owners who were having the same problem with theirs 9mm, 45, & 40s&w. Come to find out it was a issue with their ejector springs. Reached back out only to have them sell me a ejector spring & extractor kit for their newly released 10mm. This was supposed to have been their upgrades to fix a problem they didn't want to address until I mentioned that myself and several other owners realized it was the ejector spring shortening after a brief period of time. Till now it still sits in my safe & remains the only firearms purchase I regret. Just purchased the S&W FPC this past August for $579.99 ($644.53 shipped). Went to the range the day it arrived with little over 500rds of various ammo ( 115gr & 124gr & 147gr) Federal American Eagle; Federal HST; Magtech; Speer lawman & gold dot; and Igman. Not a single malfunction and all accurate as fuck. I'm a couple of USPSA matches and just shy of 2krds with it, and still not a single malfunction.
It obviously doesn't come with the optic shown. I'm sure if it did the MSRP would be much higher.
I will have to wait til they introduce a model with a bayonet lug. 😅
If this is a blow-back system why didn't you make it foldable? You have another rifle with a handgrip fed system. It seems totally redundant to make two rifles with different feed systems.
Is there smith and Wesson in Philippines?
What is the process to buy?
Can you make one in 40 that takes Shield magazines?
Bring this to Canada!!!
Amen
What exact model Vortex optic/red dot is depicted in this video?
Needs to be in 5.7 with 3 mags at the highest capacity possible to maintain an affordable price. That's how you'll make money!
Why Polymer though? It looks like the common breaking points are beefed up at least. Curious as to how this feeds various ammo.
Why not polymer?
What's better for optics on this rifle? Red dot with flip up sights or LPVO 1-6?
Are any of these being manufactured at the new Maryville TN plant? Can anyone that bought one check the stamp? Thanks
Please make it in 45acp.
is that sold here in cali?
45 ACP maybe?
nice
799.99 for an all polymer AR9…..hard pass….
You can build a PSA for around 600 or buy something like a Brigade BM9 (aluminum upper/lower) for about 30 more.
Ruger has also been doing it correctly for quite a few years. I guess the lightness of the polymer rail is supposed to be considered a feature.
@@rob6850 Correct, the Ruger PC weighs more than a shotgun let alone an AR. I own both, if you can get past the prejudice of the all polymer, the ease and accuracy of shooting the Response blows the Ruger out of the water, and its not close IMO. The Ruger looks/feels 'cooler', the Response is the better firearm.
can you make one us 357 mag
People always say keltech is all plastic but this is the same. All guns now a days are mostly polymer with metal internals
I noticed the magazine release seems to be metal on the glock magwell, will this not chew up the polymer glock mags? Thanks
I live in Illinois…need I say more? Fat Cats stopping me from buying new releases. P’s me off!!
Why not do away with the AR buffer on a new system?
Full polymer though come on😔
What other FLEXMAG Kits will S&W offer besides M&P (Dbl-Stack) and G17/G19?
Can't seem to find this information anywhere?
(I doubt they'll ever offer any others)
Yeah, exactly. If they had said they could accommodate Sig Sauer P320, I would have been very interested. But it sounds like they won't support it.
I carry a SCCY CPX2. Are there mag wells coming for them anytime soon?
I would probably say that won’t happen
Good one
This is kool but we need to get back to the essence! The courts need to stop the infringement by these weird ass state laws & bans! Where’s the AR PLATFORM
Notice he said G17 G19... couldn't even say Glock.
RAD
It's too bad that most rifles dont come with any sights.
100th comment
We need ARs models not pistol round models.
Stop using "MSR." Also "systems" and "platforms." lets move on from these words please.
Why are you showing a magazine drum attached on the website and briefly in the video but no mention of it?
because it has an adaptor for a drum ....
@@ACommenterOnRUclips Obviously.... Why not mention it?
$800 for all polymer, just make it Glock mags and stop over engineering it. Do Better. 👎
It does take Glock mags and how the hell is it over engineered? It’s a blowback 9mm…
They will not say Glock.
G17-G19 🤣
We don't want a plastic receiver
Nothing special my mcarbo keltech sub2000 is better
