Our main rig is a 21 ft hybrid used more for multiple-night trips. We also have a small pop-up for quick trips and one-nighters or second unit when extra family tags along. My only issue is that there is not enough floor space to have a chair when we're forced inside. My plan is to take out the water tank, sink and fridge and twist the middle bench to the wall to create a gaucho and more floor space.
That sounds like an awesome plan! I love how versatile these pop ups can be and the different remodeling options. We have enough space for the two of us but once we get the 3 dogs inside, there is no room. lol. But normally we are only inside to sleep unless the one random rainstorm we get here in AZ. 😂 Good Luck on your project!
I must say, I love the way you guys camp. Love the setup too. I own a pop up too, want to camp nice and quiet like that and a place like that too. Thanks for sharing the video!
Looks like great fun. I found your videos looking for pop ups. I think that is just what my family needs. I am tired of tent camping but not ready to spend tons on a travel trailer when we only go a few times a year.
Glad you enjoyed your first outing with your pop up. Would have been nice to see the inside layout of your pop up. It helps people like me who car camp to see if it is worth purchasing one in the near future as a option. Stay blessed on your travels. 🇬🇧 part-time solo female car camper.
@@arizona_april thank you April. Continue to get out and about, breaks in nature really does help your soul and mental well-being. Stay blessed and safe.
Love my pop up. 2010 fleetwood williamsburg. Its so cozy. My boxer dog loves it too. Wished i could use it more. People in my area like to ruin the camp spaces
Hi April , I can remember twenty odd years ago gal pal and myself took our first pop up camping trip . That first night she asked me if there were going to be magic in the air that night . I quickly told her probably from the cowboy beans we had for supper . She quickly told me I would be sleeping outside !
@@arizona_april Well , that night I did get to sleep outside ! But the next time I brought my long handles under wear and did so every time after . We are nearing 70 years now and still laugh about it !
Hey guys enjoyed your video. Just subbed to your channel. We got a pop-up last year, had to completely renovate her. We call her Dirty Diana looking forward to taking her out this year. I like you guys set up. Maybe someday we will meet in these pop-up streets lol. Your fur babies are so cute.
Thank you! Appreciate that so much! I love that name, Dirty Diana! Yes that would be awesome to meet up in the pop streets! 🤣😂 What kind of pop up did you renovate?
Hi! New here. I was checking out older pop ups on here and yours came up. I Love it!!! I miss mine!!! I’ve had a few dif types of rv’s over the tests and now have a travel trailer that I love but can’t get any better then a pop up with Ty feeling of a camper and tent sleeping!!! The dogs are adorable and I just read one was run over by a truck? Omg 💔 how is she now?
Hello Nicole, Welcome!! Thank you so much I am glad you like Tiny Tim our pop up! I hope you get to get out with your trailer and travel and camp often! Thank you for the compliments on the pups 🥰 They appreciate it too! Lol! Yea Mary the middle size gray Pitbull was hit by a truck last year in October 😞 Thankfully she has recovered pretty well considering! She is able to swim and run around but I believe she will always have an issue with one of her back legs unless we amputate but we’ll see what the future has when we get there. Thank you 🙏
@@arizona_april awww. Poor baby. I actually have my camper at a Jellystone near my house in NY. It’s a seasonal spot. Im lucky enough to get my 7 year old grandson for the summer so we stay there and have a blast!!! The winters are dreary here so we will be starting to get out of here with the camper in the fall/winter!!!
I love how your campsite was so large with no one else around. I also love your dogs. I have a question about being in a pop-up with dogs. Do you ever fear that when they are inside the pop-up and smell and animal they might try to dig through the screen or jump through the screen or anything like that? I have two big dogs and I’m planning to get a pop-up. Thanks for any insight you can give!
Thank you! So as far as the dogs trying to dig out, I honestly do not worry too much about it but my dogs have been camping since they were puppies and know better. However, I still wouldn’t leave my dogs alone in the trailer and then go do something like go to a store or lake because then I think they may try to get out. Once you have the pop up , I would suggest setting it up at home first and training them a little and let them get used to it. If they try to push on screens or on canvas, correct them. Also if you truly think your dogs might do that, you can always set up a crate inside for them too. Hope that helps!!! And good luck when you get your pop up! They can be fun and challenging, but all worth it!
I'm so grateful to live in the beautiful north cascade mountains. I find places like this you camped at to be very ugly and dirty. No green grass or evergreen trees. Just boring ugly rocks and gravel
I think it’s beautiful in its own way. If you ever visit Arizona you’d see the beauty of the desert. This particular spot was not as green as other places but that is also because we chose to be away from people not in the populated grassy areas. Arizona does however have so many beautiful spots. It’s why our state population is growing at tremendous rates.

That’s awesome! Congrats on your new pop up! They are fun 🤩
Petey Dog brings back lots of childhood memories!
I think the dogs had a great time too😊
What a fun time :) looks like the dogs loved it
Thank you! Yes it was awesome! Great weather and the dogs definitely had a blast! They slept the whole time after we got home 😂❤

That is awesome! Welcome to the channel! Thanks for the sub, I will give ya a follow back!

You should get a bellow straw for your fire. Makes a world of difference. No more having to fan the fire.
I’ll look into that! I think I’ve heard of it before. Thanks for the suggestion and the subscription !🫶😃
