I saw Nick Wayne main event DEFY show in Seattle and I was super impressed. This dude’s ability was ridiculous and after the match I bumped into him and shook his hand and told him how much he impressed me. I asked him how old he was and he said SIXTEEN. I said “you’re only sixteen years old?” and he replied YES SIR. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was kinda blown away at how talented he was and how young he was, AND how humble and respectful all at the same time. Dude has something special about him for real.

I think his demeanour impresses me almost as much as his wrestling skills. He doesn’t have that entitled arrogance that annoys me so much, even just watching him grinning and getting so excited throughout this interview, he comes across as so grateful and genuine. I wasn’t familiar with him until AEW but I quickly became a fan!
