    Awesome build!! So adding the suspension you didn’t have to adjust or move the tabs? Only drill holes bigger. Stock turbo s axles? I’m thinking of doing a dune build for west coast with wider suspension and 12” of wheelbase added.

      Yeah the RS1 is basically a bolt on setup. Need the longer brake lines ( i recommend getting the 2014xp1000 lines or turbo S)

    awesome build i love you page, i want to do this swap and i also want to do the rs1 cooling module swap, oddly enough finding a rs1 module is next to impossible. ok.... i got questions, i have a 2014 xp1000 and i am gathering the parts to do this swap, what axles did you use on your 2014? did you reuse the original wheel bearing carriers? did you just get extended axles? or did you change out the differential and carriers to the turbo one? as i have heard the turbo s axles have larger splined ends.

    • @A1UTV
      @A1UTV  Год назад

      You will have some issues doing this particular long travel setup on a 14xp1k as i have done that swap too. Since everything is turbo axles after the swap i had to swap the front diff. Once that’s done you can make it happen. You can use your existing bearing carriers. I used turbo S axles.

    Would this turbo S suspension fit on my XP1000? I’ve asked a lot of people and everyone says no. Could you have used factory turbo S radius rods and tie rods or do you have to build them like you did

    • @A1UTV
      @A1UTV  2 года назад +2

      Of course it will just takes a little grinding on some small things to make it all fit correctly and it also needs a spacer to fill the lower mount. My 14xp has all turbo S suspension.

    Could you measure your upper and lower radius rods and shoot me the measurements? I’m doing the same setup with stock turbo s suspention on my rs1 and have a company that is building me some links

    • @A1UTV
      @A1UTV  2 года назад

      Easiest way to handle that is to set your heims up and take a measurement. That’s best way to be sure you don’t accidentally cut too short.

      Yeah I’ve yet to hear bad reviews on it that’s for sure. Couldn’t beat $100 for all the turbo S stock stuff. Sat on it for 7 months or so until i found a good RS1 out there. Turned out really nice.

    Do you have a video when you installed the turbo s suspension on your 14 xp1k

    • @A1UTV
      @A1UTV  2 года назад +1

      I do not. Install is pretty identical though with exception of one spacer needed for lower a arm and need to grind down the upper a arm mount by the brake cylinder.

    How’d u get the back holes drilled out? I can’t get my drill in there let alone straight

    • @A1UTV
      @A1UTV  Год назад

      I used a die grinder and a tapered carbide bit.

    Could stock turbo S suspension links be used in the rear of the machine instead of custom links being made?

    • @A1UTV
      @A1UTV  2 года назад +1

      Only if you drill new holes in the frame for the mounts. I had to cut custom radius rods specifically for this.

    Real question here… how is this cheap? Where do you find the a-arms, axles and trailing arms? Are there any tie rods that that would work that didnt have to be built from scratch? Sway end links too? I need this mod! Completes the RS1

    • @A1UTV
      @A1UTV  2 года назад

      It’s cheap because its all turbo s take off parts. A lot easier and cheaper to source compared to name brand kits. I’m sure there are other radius rod options i just opted for this route.

    • @richardthomas8120
      @richardthomas8120 2 месяца назад

      This may be a little late, but ORB makes a complete kit that requires no drilling & you use ALL of you RS1 original hubs etc. No shock changes necessary, you should have already done Shock Therapy springs kits anyway. It includes the brake lines, & custom full length HD tie rods as well. Takes about a weekend to do if you are mechanically inclined at all. The kit w/o using their axles is about $2500.00. you can catch the Rhino 2.0 TURBO S axles on sale at various UTV online stores or Ebay for cheaper than their price. I had right at $3250.00 in my entire kit.
