What a great idea. I've been looking for keel protection for my kayak and everything I've found has been ridiculously priced for what it was

Awesome idea! How many bottles / product did you need for the whole bottom?

Curious how well this will stick. Polyethylene has a pretty low surface energy and getting things like epoxies to stick may prove difficult unless it has a pretty low modulus. Be nice to see how well it handles the bottom hull flexing or after a year of use. Here's to longevity! ^^

Thank you for your informative videos! Quick question, you said you think it will last about 5 years, what do you do and/or how do you remove once it's starting to break down? Thanks!

If it starts delaminating, you can use a putty knife to scrape it off.
