      Dyno/ Tuning usually starts back up end of March /begining or April 😁👍

      Well I mean the 5.7 LS6 of that era made 420 horsepower Factory in 400 ft lb of torque LS2 factory made 400 horsepower 400 foot pounds of torque...

    Hey man Great Video, I also have a 04 GTO NA build
    just a heads up there is a way to recover your HP logs if you restart the log by mistake.

    You are exactly correct. I was only half listening until I heard the numbers you made when you were headed off for gas. Lol. Were the stainless rockers a benefit? I'm building my 04- Texas Speed smaller 228/230 cam with ported 243's 102mm Fast but missing the injectors and rockers.

      I went to the 1.8 rockers just for the lift, the heads flowed up to about .680 lift, with the 1.8 rockers we're right at the .660 dual springs limit, but just wanted to maximize the use of the Cam and heads the best we could.

    Awesome content.. I own a 04 gto sl1 5.7. t56 low mile car I've got hptuners all up and running but have got to tidy up some work first and then install the wideband O2 sensor from aem i got... but I got some long to header exhaust leaks I got to fix first.
    but once I do I ain't got the first clue on how to start tuning it but I did get HP tuners to load up and start running on my computer screen and did a run dialog but I haven't touched anything else... because I do not know what I'm doing..

    Does this list the actual upgrades? Cam? What size? Heads? 243 or 241? Hand port or CNC? Intake?

      Yep we talk about that in the video.
      Hand ported 241s with .010" cut and .010" thinner cometic head gaskets
      Comp 54-459-11 cam with 1.8 ratio adjustable stainless rocker arms
      FAST intake with 92mm TB and ls3 42# injectors.
      There's more but I can't remember it all off top of my head. Ran a 12.82 with a small stall converter, with proper converter would likely go deep 12s, but stock-ish the 4l60e is on borrowed time lol 😆

    I know this video is over a year old. But would this set up work on stock T-56? I have 04 same everything just T-56. Just needing the cam and intake. Will the 490hp be pushing the stock 6 speed?

      Stock t56 is good for 600 ft lbs plus or minus a few

    Ya killing me . I need a tuner that knows what the Hell they doing?? I have no idea what SAE and other standard means?? Is it related to crank hp and rwhp?? I feel like my 05 LS2 built 6.0 6 speed. IMO my final numbers Seem LOW LOW..i was disappointed to say the least with the amount of cash invested. Only stock parts left ..block bored .020 over ,crank and rods.,coils and rocker arms at time of dyno tune. Long tubes, no cats, K&N warm air intake..lol texas speed cam package 228/232 600/600..112°dual springs .,7.4 etc.. has different injectors running out fuel on dyno. F1C size unknown? Too much fuel i think??.PRC 220 Something? Heads, MSD Air Force intake manifold.and a partridge in a pear tree.. RWHP like 454.. motor 540+/-. Torque was pitiful loke not even near 400ft lb?? WTF..expected alot more for near $10K. Am i wrong ????

      It's about the setup as a whole, flow of heads, camshaft pairing, intake runner length for rpm range of cam etc.

      2004 was a 4L60E, 2005-2006 had the 4L65E behind the 6.0L LS2.
      On the case when pulled it's stamped with 4L60E as well (we looked into this when it was pulled out because we questioned it as well)
