Great to see some LS2 action.
Been there with the window issue. Tried windoweld twice. 1st time lasted a year. Second time a week. I ended up using steel reinforced jb weld on the front window guide and almost 2 years later, still holding up. 15 years with my 04 daily and still loving it.

Lol u know what hilarious. I spoke to whoever in the front couple years ago about sending my car up there and they told me y’all don’t work on no LS cars after 2007. 😭😭😭😭 and look another GTO same year as mines on the dyno. Priceless

With the laptop thing you were talking about, you can do that, it's called Disk cloning, you have to reset windows to out of box experience, then clone the drive using a program like Acronis True Image

Awesome video ! Love anything with the 05-06 gto. Even the 04 lol but I just did ls3 823 heads. Texas speed stage 3 cam. 103 mm throttle body! Dyno tune first time at 380 hp. I had an over the radiator air intake and it was choking air intake. So we removed that and just ran open maf and intake and it dynoed at 425 hp and 450 tq at the wheels. So I’m changing to a full 4 inch air intake with a card style maf and getting it tuned again this Thursday. So maybe a bit more power but way more tunable. A few months ago I did 1 3/4 long tube headers , a one piece drive shaft and dyno tuned at 348hp and 365 tq at the wheels. Before everything it dyno tuned at 315hp and 330tq. So with everything I did I gained 110 hp and 135 tq ! lol. So oh yeah I went with a 4000 stall torque converter. But yeah it’s a beast now lol but I’m hoping to squeeze a bit more out of the motor before going turbo.forgot to mention I also used BTR 660 dual springs and ls7 lifters. Full 3 inch with x pipe exhaust into magna flow 3 inch glass pack style straight through mufflers. Added a trans cooler with a fan.

I remember putting those exact headers on my 04. the steering rack was a major PITA. But the sound of Kooks headers and Corsa exhaust is more than worth the trouble.

so crazy, i had the same exact issue on my gto with the window but passenger side.
Man I miss my GTO! Should have never upgraded to a V2 Coupe. I'd probably be running low 9s and still driving it to work without a payment! 😥
I oblonged the holes where the regulator bolts to the door and slid the regulator forward just a bit to clear the lock Assembly

There's a program for that. Just look up hard drive cloning software. I different laptop will probably need different drivers, but Windows should be able to install most of those automatically. You'll also need to reregister much of your paid software. Still easier though.

I didn't think they still worked on GTO's . I wouldn't mind sending my car to them especially since they are local to me.
Fran there is a laptop where when you get a new one it will mirror your old one, MacBook. Don’t think anyone uses a MAC for tuning or it may not compatible with tuning software.

10:00 There is a program like that, it's called Time Machine... for Mac! LOL I don't believe Windows has an equivalent. On a side note, It would be good to see automotive software on Macs.

@@fulltimber but for the size of the car, and being grand tourer, it was a big miss. It was small because of the gas tank location. Related to golf clubs, I don't think I could keep my driver in the bag.
True but what other 2+2 seat coupe was out there at the time? Back seat is comfortable. They had to put the gas tank in the trunk😅

I just cannot name that vehicle as a GTO, for us Aussies, it's a Monaro that's got different badging. Was designed and built here in Australia by Holden. Plain and simple. A few bits of plastic badging doesn't change what it really is. MONARO through and through

I own the GTO version in the states and I agree with the name. It's more a Monaro then GTO. You can definitely tell it isn't a Pontiac built here in the states. The build quality is just better then any late model Pontiac I've ever been in. You can really tell in the interior and how comfortable it is.

In the last video or the one before I asked about your guys use of Melling oil pumps, mentioned that you use them on LS3s and keep the stock pump on the dry sump cars.
I’m doing an LSX 376 wet sump build to replace in an LSA 5th gen. Would you recommend using a Melling oil pump? Melling is now advertising the 10294 low volume high pressure pump for aftermarket blocks with priority main oiling.

05/06 only and all depends what the customer wants and if it’s stock and a clean car etc. we are selective with them

Very curious why the most recent GTO you guys did with 15k miles made 460hp with just a cam package. This one has 87k. Will 70k miles make THAT big of a difference?
I'd say yes the mileage makes a difference. More miles equals wear on internals.

You know you can mirror your old laptop to your new one right? There literally is a program for that.
Would this car pass Delawares inspection with it being cammed?? I'm sure it would need cats put on it put I didn't know if they would fail you just for the cam upgrade. I want to cam my ls2 GTO but I don't want to have any problems at the DMV.

That’s crazy lol. The torque is lower than the horsepower. On mine the torque is higher than the horsepower.

All you need for your laptop is to clone the hard drive.

I think so, there was no mention of an upgrade. The stock LS2 intake manifold is garbage, big gains to be had with a Fast 102

LS2 are an underrated engine. I read that they probably were around 410-415. The ZO6 wanted to be higher

@@Tazerect 1st things first, get your rear suspension tire setup first(it'll help put power down better). It was fbo, running stage 2 torquer v2 cam from tspd. Reputable OTR CAI, 102 tb matched with a 100mm maf with a ls3 card style sensor. Maximizer headers/fast intake(aftermarket fuel rails also by fast with DW350 fuel pump, 57lb injectors/20% underdrive pulley, heads(can't remember the brand but they were amazing(it's on my channel somewhere)stage 3 monster clutch with a magnum f transmission. Also redid my trunion which probably helped rotational speed a lot. I was gonna stroke it nd put a stage 4 cam in it. Planned to push 580+whp on E. All motor. Would've been a moster, 🥱🤝🏽
What would be a ballpark price for that stage on same vehicle?
ka ching ka ching ported ls3 heads bout 2k kooks headers 1300+400 for the straight pipe, spring kit bout 350, low quality varam intake is 300, cam probably 350 400. not to mention it needs an intake manifold and throttle body to be heads cam fbo. thatd be another 1500 for both most likely. 350 for a short throw shifter too cuz stock one sucks kok. thats all off the top of my head so give or take some.

Short throw mgw-p was $350 plus $100 for install (not by RPM) rest of it was installed by RPM under a Black Friday deal they offered which was honestly a steal with all the parts and labor installed. They even did the window track and motor mount (which wasnt originally in the scope of work). This is my car btw.
