Update: GTO's are going up in price since all these idiots are crashing them and totaling them. Some are actually repairable but they want the Insurance check. I crashed my LSA GTO> Insurance wanted to give me 18568 as a total lose. I said hell no, I had most of the parts so they gave me a 13k check to fix. I kept 6k since I had most of the parts and had a shop just install what needed to be installed.
Had to pin this man! So true for right now! I hit a deer with Spice Red GTO in 2019, bought it back from insurance, still went and bought this GTO lol. But now have repaired the Spice Red one! 😁 But yeah that being said, prices are not very buyer friendly at the moment!
thats one of the cons of engine swaps. insurance doesnt realize u have a 15k engine in your car. if that car went to auction whoever bought it would have been lucky. u were definitely smart to just fix it
I bought my 2005 GTO new. It's rock solid reliable, and scary fast. It's my forever summertime toy. It has one mod. It's a Corsa Sport catback. Sounds outstanding!
@ Marc Ingram I had the same exhaust while being stock and it sounded weak as shit. You only hear it while shifting, after that you can't hear anything period, total waste of money.. I now have a loudmouth 1 catback, which is better and you can hear it while cruising.
I have a 86 Trans Am t top and a 2008 G6 gt coupe. These GTO'S make me smile whenever I see them, takes me back to when I was a kid, grew up in my Dad's 2000 Grand Prix and my Mom's 2007 Torrent.
Bought my '04 in 2017 for $4k with 140k miles. 3 years later as my daily I'm close to 200k and will drive it to the ground. Kept it stock the whole time. Fun car.
Any issues? I’m looking at one with 141k for 5k lol. I’m concerned with the oil starvation issues they’re known for. Is there any way to prevent that or anything else I need to know? I’d also be dailying it
I picked up my 2nd GTO last month and I've missed it so badly! This one is an 04, 34k miles. Has heads, cam all supporting mods. F-1A procharger, Built T56 and built rear end with flex fuel setup.🤘🐐
My first car is a 04 gto I bought on my own its got a 150k miles but I live in the road salting capitol of the world and the car has got no rust on the body so its been like 1 month without driving it cuz I dont want it to he rusted to dust and every night I watch gto driving videos
2006 Brazen Orange 6-speed owner here. Not the original owner, but I bought it practically new with 3000 miles on it. I've been saying since Covid I'd sell it (it sits most of the time since I have a '13 Viper GTS now), but I have a hard time parting with it. I love the sound and the way it drives. It was my daily for years and the car I learned how to drive manual on. Has 69k miles on it, still in great shape. No dents or serious paint damage. Suspension needs some freshening up though. Just has a spintech cat-back with h-pipe and 3.73 gears.
BEAUTIFUL!!! Bought my 06 around 9 years ago... 48k miles for about 16k... Still basically bone stock... Just hit 82k last week.. Only issues after 9 years.. Water Pump went out and I punctured a radiator w/ a pebble. Still bone stock.. will never sell it, and I have had people scream on the road to me "I want to buy your car" Like you said, JUST A FUN FUN RARE (Live in San Jose CA, and it's Camaro/Mustang/Challenger/Charger everywhere) car. Mine is Cyclone Grey Love to start modding but I get confused on all the stuff I can do and still be smog legal... heh Ca smog laws suck.
That’s awesome!! I had my water pump in my old GTO go out an hour from home while just out trying to have fun on a weekend 😂 but I feel you! Those cars are everywhere around here as well!! And yes I would be confused there as well 😬 good luck to you with it!!
Bought my 04 gto in 2010.only put 20,000 miles on it in last 12 years but man parts can be next to impossible to find. Dad broke my shifter couldn’t replace with a stoke shifter because there no longer made had to settle for a short shifter kit. Have absolutely loved this thing my battle buddy from the marine corps talked me into this amazing piece of machinery.
The GTO was my first car, bought an 04 back in 2007 when I was 19 for $20,000 with 14k miles. No longer my daily driver, but I don't have the heart to sell her after 80k miles of getting me to school and work with a smile, so put a few bucks into making her retirement years as fun as possible. You'd think there would be a bunch of them in Queens, NY just based on how many people live here....but nope. I've seen maybe a dozen around here in the wild (not counting meets) during these 13 years. Fresh coat of IBM with black VMR710's, banshee hood, SAP grills and fascia and a MavMan CF diffuser and coilovers. Meticulously maintained, all cooling components replaced at some point (due to failing BCM not activating low speed fans and me not knowing), new steering rack, new axles, water pump, level 2 Performabuilt transmission after mine failed, new BCM, all seems stitched up and headliner fixed, etc. Would be too painful to sell, no matter how much it costs me to garage it in NYC. I'll keep leasing Infiniti's for daily duties, but she stays.
I just got a great deal on one 2006 gto clean tittle, red interior 104k miles has a btr cam stage 3, long tubes on flex fuel lsx fast 102 throttle body for 10k
I bought a 2004 with the LS one and T5 66 speed and everything I’ve done to it. It has responded amazingly it’s 430 horse at the wheels so depending on how hard you launch it anywhere from 12 flat through the mid 12s with decent traction, and 28 miles a gallon cruising at 72 miles an hour on midgrade 89 octane with a tunnel ram ported dart heads and a fairly mild cam with 220° duration on the intake side. It’s very treatable and pull to 6700 RPMs, which is exactly what those bottom men Are rated at 6700 max even put a hitch on it. Pull a small trailer with dirt bikes and it has 167,000 miles and never touched the dropper oil. If you have one you know what I mean they are the best so comfortable to drive to.
Hey man I know this has been awhile since you posted this. I’m looking at a stock ‘05 gto with 53k miles for 18,500 you think that’s a good price? I found it at a small dealership in town.
@@DRGOAT what i ment is i see them one day importing them back to Australia ,just like the XA,XB,XC ford coupe's model's Australian muscle cars like the one in the mad max movie .American's imported them to the usa from Australia now the Aussies are buying them back big demand for them their worth big bucks i see the same thing happening with the GTO in the future
Awesome car man. I've always wanted a 2005 or 2006. I got a new to me car a couple months ago. I really wanted this car but it had to be under 60k miles and they were all 22-25k in this market. Hopefully next time around things will be different
I am the original owner of a 2006 SRM 6 speed GTO that has $26K miles. Don't drive it much but couldn't get rid of it either. Very few mods, bushings, aluminum radiator, silicon hoses, Stoptech drilled/slotted brakes, upgraded head unit. Never driven in snow, hardly driven in rain. I plan to maintain it as best as I can, thinking about the CTSV brake upgrade but since I don't drive it much, what's the point. Anyway I love my GTO, great car that's not appreciated by many but understood by a few. BTW, I also have a red 93 RX7.
Just buy it and enjoy it. Trying to find a decent price on a nice one is tough with the toilet paper money we have now days. Mine 2005 is a yellow bone stock keep it in my garage till I want to take it out and ride around in it. Fun, fun, fun.
That PC sounds sick💪just found my 05 mbm at the biggest car show in Biloxi ms. Ctc 8k currently having summit build a new t56 purchased a Ls7 clutch kit from tick performance has 94k Lt kooks ca int can't wait to get it back from the shop and enjoy it. Now to find a PC lol.
Bought my gto last year, I am 18 now, and it’s safe to say I’m never selling this car, no major issues expect the transmission going out the second day I owned it, yea I got a screwed but you live and you learn, plan on twin turboing the car and making it a pretty sick drag car, money just does not permit as of now
Love it man! But yeah i mean things happen, and some people also just sell if they know there’s issues, but hey it happens to all of us. I totally understand the money part! That’s why I never ended up boosting my Spice Red GTO! I mean, that and that I hit a deer with it 🤷♂️😂
DRGOAT yea he definitely sold it to me because he knew the trans was bad but it was a stock 4l60e making 430 to the wheel so it makes sense, but I replaced that transmission with a “built” one turns out it wasn’t built and had it rebuilt for like 500 to the wheel, I am eventually going to make it a straight drag car and make stupid horsepower, but I like how it is now and it’s definitely a good amount of power for a 18 year old kid
That sucks man! It sucks that people do things like that, makes it hard to trust people in the future with things like that. I get it though! I’ve been planning on making my Spice Red GTO a drag car at some point! Just don’t have the money to do it right now! Haha
05 gto with 130k bought for 12gs. Quick silver bone stock just muffler tips magnaflow and knN filter with Bremerwheels.. had it for about an year. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's a automatic. 😅😅
Honestly I averaged between 18-21mpg with this and my heads, cam, intake GTO. That being said, my dad used to have an 04 Corvette Z06 and that would average right around 24mpg. But that’s also a lighter car and it was stock
This car is already out of my price bracket. I was hoping they would drop to single digits. 😥 (Under 10k). Btw what happens if you get a fender bender is the car totalled?
I get it! As far as with a fender bender, I hit a deer with my spice red GTO, it hit the drivers fender, windshield, and dented the front pillar of the roof, and they totaled it 😕 As far as I know they totaled it because that roof support is no longer made 😕
the ls2 is rated at i think 250k if you run it pretty hard which basically means if you're not running the piss out of it each time you drive it should make 300k easy
@@mikestanly749 it isnt 2005 anymore wheres the study that states that? sounds like your opinion, all the stories ive heard of high mileage ls2's have been positive.
The 4 things that grind my gears on theses car is the front bumper clips that break, the rear quarter glass rubber tim that fades faster than all rubber on the car, the headliners that sag as the foam degrades, and the rear seat leather that shrinks and can tear at the seams if in direct sun without window tint and conditioner. Most of those can be remedied easily. The fuel line, wiring harness, and suspension problems people talk about can be sorted just as easily. Overall a reliable car if you don’t go too crazy with mods. Edit- just remembered another thing that is a bit annoying about the car is wheel fitment. You can’t fit much more than 275 in the rear and thats with the quarter lip trimmed. Really would like to mini tub but not willing to loose the back seat and not looking to cut up a clean car if i don’t have to.
You’re 100% right on all of that! The bumper clips and sagging headliner really get to me! But yes, I had 275s on my spice red and it was tight! Only 255s on this car, but these Toyo Proxes R888R’s are some damn good tires! I’m not willing to give up my backseats either!
Fitting my 275s on my GTO since they were MT ETs were quite a bitch for the rear. Needed to put modified suspension in just to get them to clear not to mention rolling the fenders. Even so, I find the biggest issue with the car to be traction. Even when my car was just procharged it was having issues, and now it’s a nightmare. At the same time, that same issue is the biggest fun factor of the car
@Charlie G are you on any of the GTO pages on Facebook? I haven’t looked in the last couple months, but I know when I was looking before there was quite a few for between 10k-12k. Not sure on the mileage of them, I just know you could get them for around that price.
@@mikewilson3836 bro go argue with someone else 😂 don’t be clicking on and commenting on a damn GTO video if you don’t like them 😂 now have a good day!
How about buying a pro charge gto!!!I found one I’m interested in do you have any insight on what to look for. I now it’s an 06 and it has a stock bottom end with a built trans and rear end and all the paperwork
So one thing I would suggest, just because I had this with my Procharged GTO when I bought it, was if you can, look at the impeller on the Procharger. When I went to change the oil on mine this first winter with it I noticed how chewed up the impeller was. $1,500 fix for Procharger to do that...runs excellent and builds more boost now, but fairly expensive fix when you’re not expecting it haha
@@DRGOAT ok I will look at the impeller thank you. do you have any info on when an ls2 would need ring gap since to pro charger at least on the one I’m considering is like 8-10 pounds and when should forged crank and pistons might be needed for boosted applications?
I really wish I could help you with those questions but I honestly don’t know 😬 I have a list of the mods that the previous owner done to my GTO that I can share if you’d like though! Just so you can see what he had done
its funny looking back at the video now...prices were dropping.... i got a red 2006 m6 2.5 years ago for $3200 in nice shape with mods...owner HAD to sell it thats how he opened his negotiation "im moving tomorrow I NEED TO SELL THE CAR TODAY' the car was up for 7500 i talked him down to 5500 on the phone and was happy going to get it for that...he was picking it up that morning from getting new clutch and steering rack to the tune of $2200...so he says he has to sell it today...pretend you dont like it much...point out every flaw...then LOW BALL... then of couse my dad blows my deal outta the water....a guy in town had a nice 05 cyclone grey m6....he got the LS2 bored, stroked and cammed... the new engine was using oil so the guy had the engine pulled and sent to his brothers shop who said he though the cross hatch looked funny..6 months go buy the gto is sitting on the guys lawn in the snow with no engine.keep in mind this was a garaged 70k car before this....my dad stopped and enquired about the car and the guy said yea i called the junk yard they were only gonna give me $150 so i held onto it i want $500....my dad calls me and says hey i just bought a gto for $500 hahahaha i looked at the built motor and the cross hatch looked good to me.. i told my dad that there was no catch can set up on the car...with a lumpy LS you need a catch can...anyway he wants another engine so we get a LQ9 from my buddy Ronnie...pull it apart and put it back together with the lumpy cam and the freshly built LS2 heads....car is a monster now but still using oil...so put in a catch can setup and the new design driver side valve cover and no more oil use...we have 2 really nice gtos to play with for a total investment of about 6k UNREAL...and now the prices have gone THROUGH THE ROOF....im a big guy i have had a few f bodies.... they are ok... but nothing beats the combo of the gto with awesome seats...upscale interior...and superior build quality...the only downside i see is they didnt sell many so there isnt alot of them hanging around for parts....
The price thing is debatable. If they've got low miles they are selling for quite a bit of money. I paid a little under 20 for mine but it had 18,000 miles, kooks header exahust, gauge pods, cam, dyno tune, BC racing coilovers etc. But if they have around 90 to 100,000 miles you can pick them up for 10 grand maybe less. Like you said, I have kids and they love the car 😊.
Oh most definitely! Like any car, mileage will play a big part in pricing! That sounds like a badass ride man!! 👊😎 and yes, can’t beat when the kids love the car! 😃
@@DRGOAT Yeah I got lucky and had to fly 1400 miles to ship the car back lol. It was stressful to say the least. But the last year or two the prices have really started to go through the roof, low mile G8's as well. You saved a lot of money by buying one with a little more miles and already being supercharged. That car has to be a lot of fun.
I bought a gto a month ago and it’s looking like a mistake, 69k miles and my key won’t turn because the roller is stuck/broke, So far terrible car from experience.
Another reason they are getting harder to find is cause people parting out perfectly good ones over engine or trans issues fixable issues parting out good cars ruining ng them in future for anyone else that stuff really makes me mad when I see that crap unless it's totaled shouldn't be parted out
That kind of greed infuriates me. You can always build an ls with the plethora of parts available but trying to build another one of these cars chassis’s isn’t an option. I wish had the resources/knowledge to be like a graveyard cars for the holden monaro community saving each and every one while scouring for its lost history.
I’d say that’s not a bad price! Really all depends on how clean it is and what’s been done to it, but as far as price with that mileage that’s not bad!
I have 2005 for last 6 years, Love that damn car like you said they are just fun to drive cruising or hauling ass and most people have never seen one until yours, that's what i like, they are not a dime a dozen you always gets comments, very impressive car even with 138000 on it still runs like a raped Ape. fixing to rap it should look good and only one other in my town also.
@@DRGOAT yup, one owner garage kept, no accidents or anything, I'm also looking at a red supercharged one that's an 05 that has 14k miles but id prefer the black one
Wow!! That black one is something that plenty of people would love to have just to hold on to! But man the red one would be a blast! And real low miles as well!!
I've kept my GTO stock. I will probably never sell mine but a stock car is always worth more than one that is modded. A modded car might be great but it usually means it has been beaten to hell by the previous owner also.
I got an 06 just over 5 years ago 35k miles bone stock but I paid 21k I think it was well worth it!!! Only thing I would say I can't stand is that stupid 1st to 4th thing when you start slowly going, it always does it to me making right turns and I either bog down in 4th or I'm fkn with the shifter till it turns off and I go into 2nd
5 years ago and that low of miles, yeah I’d say it’s worth it! I spent 14k for my old GTO 5 years ago and it had 92k on it! Haha. I know what you mean! Once I got my cam installed on my old GTO the tuner was able to remove that! It definitely annoyed me as well!
You can get a harness for like $25 that snaps in between the transmission wiring harness and body harness that will kill the skip-shift and avoid that problem. I'm on my 5th 04-06 GTO now (not all consecutively owned) I've had all years but haven't been able to find another
At the end of the day, its nothing but a rebadged Holden Monaro from Australia (which there for not a real true Pontiac unlike the old GTOs from the 1960s).
Oh definitely! Especially the older generation here, they love to hate on people with these cars because of that! I will say some people get all upset over it and some love the V8s in these cars! I’ve never had another car that was hated so much by people just because of the badges on it! Lol
@@DRGOAT That's madness. These are just fun cars to drive. They sound good, look good and even for a coupe, they're reasonably practical. GM failed to market them properly in the US, if at all. They killed off Holden here which effectively upset half the country. Now GM are pushing the over priced Camero on us (which was based on the Monaro platform). Nice car, but far too expensive ($80k to $100k AUD). GM screwed a lot of people over on this. They also missed out on exporting our Holden Ute to the US, which people over there are still asking for (especially the V8 SS version). Still, it's amazing, overall, to see how devoted people are to a badge.
I completely agree! During the summer I can daily drive this car and haul around friends or kids and get groceries! But yeah that is expensive! I’m not a huge fan of the Camaro either, just not nearly as practical as the GTO. Yes! So many people would love to have a Ute here!! I absolutely love the look of them! But yes, some people, a badge means everything lol
Been comparing this to the 4th gen Camaro/Firebird and at face value I can’t see the GTO being as fun OR practical. The F-Body comes in convertible AND T-Top= more fun. The GTO is almost aggressively boring in its style when you really think about what it is. The F-Bodies look cool. The F-Bodies have hatchbacks with folding rear seats that give you something like 3x as much cargo space as the GTO. I heard that the GTO has a lot of hard-to-find/expensive proprietary parts because it’s really an Opel vehicle.
We’ve all got our own opinions 🤷♂️. I can agree on the looks part to a certain extent, for me if it’s not a WS6 or Camaro SS I personally like the looks of the GTO more. Also you can comfortably fit four people in the GTO. Parts can definitely be hard to find though.
I have the 4dr SS and Its not an opel we made them in australia at our holden plant- it a holden monaro that was imported to the US from australia under the name Pontiac GTO- imprted to the UK under the name Vauxhall VXR and mddle east as Chevrolet lumina and there's plenty of parts available here in Australia and America as GM detroit are the 1s who supplied the LS engines..... Here in Australia they're an aussie icon that's worth 30grand plus minimum
GM didn't really promote/advertise them in the US because corvette was the main seller at the time and americans complained about the "plain looks" thats why there was still brand new GTOs on showroom floors in 2008-2011 we stopped production of the monaro GTO in late 2006
Perfectly reasonable opinion, but not sure I'd say practical + F-body, even compared to a GTO with the U.S. regulation gas tank location halving GTO trunk space (still >F-body). Unless you're hauling 8ft long 2x4's, the GTO can handle anything an F-Body can with room to spare. 100% true on the T-top and convertible, but you're talking a rag top convertible from 20 years ago not sure how those are holding up. I'd go with the T-top not the vert. The GTO IS aggressively boring in most ways, but that's half the point. Also, the F-bodies look like a 90's car, the GTO is aging better. And the interiors are utterly incomparable - the GTOs is 100x better in every way and much more modern/high quality. As noted by others the GTO is a Holden - 95%+ of the parts that you'd have to replace on the GTO are available aftermarket for the same price as a Camaro or Firebird equivalent. Not true for certain body panels, but almost everything is available. You should drive a GTO and an F-body and decide for yourself; of the F-bodies I'd go for a WS6 T-top but the fastest F-body stock vs. a 6.0 GTO is a dead heat at best and once you drive both you'll see how superior the ride quality/cruising ability is in the GTO.
I loved my goat but I had to get rid of it. The parts were getting too hard to get. Plus the drive train kept exploding in less than 3,000 miles. 3 rears,4 transmissions,2 driveshafts and 1 axle.
@@Paranoid-loser honestly until I had the work done it was an amazing trouble free car. Fti sent the wrong converter and the shop told me when they installed it it broke the pump. They cleaned it up without replacing it and I think that's why the trans kept breaking. I think the pump intermittently lost psi and killed the trans.
@@1enhanced1 ah I see, just a series of unfortunate events, been thinking about one it's just all the issues like weak suspension components and wiring issues and fuel line stuff, I'd just hate to get one and it be the one that suffers from all those issues
@@Paranoid-loser honestly if the trans could last more than 3,000 miles and only rebuilt once I would have kept it. The shop that built it took away the warranty after they rebuilt it a few times.
I’m about a year late lol, but I was looking into the GTO and I was curious if it was reliable, I’ve heard mixed things and as I am going to college soon I don’t really want to get Nickel and dimed. Thank you so much!
@@juanacosta403 if I were you from the research I’ve been doing, get a 2005 or 6 with the 6.0L LS2 apparently those have less problems, if u can redo the suspension on it when you get it because that will fix a lot of problems that come in the future like the back sagging and the car will handle better. They are reliable enough to be a daily driver but look for sub 75k miles because they go to about 200k or so before any serious problems but the engine will never give u problems for a while after that
Well the 04-06 GTOs are nothing but rebadged Holden Monaros from Australia (which there for not real true Pontiacs like the original GTOs from the 1960s).
If only the 2004 GTO resembled the 1964 GTO sales would have gone off the charts!!! That's the sad truth!!! Shame on that Pontiac exec who failed so miserably to see the potential sales pitch to the public!!!

Mine is Cyclone Grey
Love to start modding but I get confused on all the stuff I can do and still be smog legal... heh Ca smog laws suck.

Wow! That’s awesome man! I can definitely understand not wanting to get rid of it! Sounds like a beautiful ride! 👊😎
I absolutely love my GTO!!! Same color! Love it!

Haha

I bought it from a guy in Michigan. There is a Facebook page called GTO 04-06 Trade N Sell that might help you find what you’re looking for!
I’m considering purchasing one soon. Are they able to last over 100k miles? If so what would be the cut off mileage for you guys?
My spice red has right around 130k on it and was running strong! I’ve seen a few people over 200k on some GTO forums!
the ls2 is rated at i think 250k if you run it pretty hard which basically means if you're not running the piss out of it each time you drive it should make 300k easy

@@mikestanly749 it isnt 2005 anymore wheres the study that states that? sounds like your opinion, all the stories ive heard of high mileage ls2's have been positive.
Any idea where I can find the tilt function kit pieces for the steering wheel? GM says they're discontinued.

I’m a little worried about the stock bottom end on the ls2
I really wish I could help you with those questions but I honestly don’t know 😬 I have a list of the mods that the previous owner done to my GTO that I can share if you’d like though! Just so you can see what he had done

Found one for 16k with 43,500 miles stock and clean title near my area, it’s automatic tho
Another reason they are getting harder to find is cause people parting out perfectly good ones over engine or trans issues fixable issues parting out good cars ruining ng them in future for anyone else that stuff really makes me mad when I see that crap unless it's totaled shouldn't be parted out
I feel you on that one man! Seen that happening way too many times!
That kind of greed infuriates me. You can always build an ls with the plethora of parts available but trying to build another one of these cars chassis’s isn’t an option.
Believe me I’ve been hearing all the older folks say this for years lol.
Great Aussie car. We called them the HSV Monaro.
Oh yeah! Believe me I’ve heard tons of people complaining over the years because they’re “not a real Pontiac” 🤷♂️😂
@@DRGOAT Really?!
Manual?
@@GrizzlyPaw505 yes
Is there a difference from 05-06?
I believe a besides a few different color options, they’re the same
I loved my goat but I had to get rid of it.
The parts were getting too hard to get.
Plus the drive train kept exploding in less than 3,000 miles.
3 rears,4 transmissions,2 driveshafts and 1 axle.
Oh wow! That sucks! I had one rear end go on my Spice Red GTO, but none of the other stuff!
Sounds like you got a real bad one out of the bunch
The shop that built it took away the warranty after they rebuilt it a few times.
what wheels?
Love my cyclone grey 06 gto.. San Jose ca
Nice man! Love that color!
I’m about a year late lol, but I was looking into the GTO and I was curious if it was reliable, I’ve heard mixed things and as I am going to college soon I don’t really want to get Nickel and dimed. Thank you so much!
Same here bro I’m looking to trade my truck a 06 ram 5.7l for a 04 gto 5.7l but I’m jus not sure cuz I’ve also heard mixed opinions on em
They are reliable enough to be a daily driver but look for sub 75k miles because they go to about 200k or so before any serious problems but the engine will never give u problems for a while after that
@@brettk1314 thanks for the feedback bro appreciate it
Well the 04-06 GTOs are nothing but rebadged Holden Monaros from Australia (which there for not real true Pontiacs like the original GTOs from the 1960s).
Love my 05 real sleeper till they hear my 6.0 roar pass them.... big camm full bolt on
Exactly!! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had people tell me how surprised they were to hear the sound coming from the GTO! Lol
If only the 2004 GTO resembled the 1964 GTO sales would have gone off the charts!!! That's the sad truth!!! Shame on that Pontiac exec who failed so miserably to see the potential sales pitch to the public!!!
I do agree with you there!
Have the money, want the car very badly, but dad says to powerful for me.. an 18 year old😭😂
I get it! 😂 I grew up drag racing, so I’ve honestly never had my dad tell me a car is too powerful 🤷♂️😂 but I do have buddies that have been in situations like yours! 😅
@@DRGOAT oh wow wish I had a childhood like yours 😂
Haha oh it was fun! I really need to get to the track more nowadays! It’s a blast! 😁 but hey, keep working at getting a GTO if you really want one! 😃
@@DRGOAT it's 400hp and a rwd, doubt my dad will let me get one 😂
I understand 🤷♂️😂
Is 9k good for a 04 with 130k on ot
Yes
LS is enough of a reason. So much aftermarket!
Exactly man! So many aftermarket parts and because of that it’s fairly cheap!
DRGOAT that’s one thing I’m definitely jealous of is that it’s so easy to make power off LS. For us coyote guys any big numbers come from boost. Bolt ons just doesn’t do much
Ahh really?? I honestly don’t know anything about the coyote engines so it’s all new to me! Only thing I know is I love the way they sound! Haha
nice shirt
Thank you! That’s my clothing brand! We’ve actually rebranded the company now to Redline Therapy! 😁
I have a 06 w/ 64,000 miles 12 speeding tickets. 90 in jail. It’s just not worth it anymore. I’ve lost everything for that car 😳 I even got raped in jail All because of that car I need to get that Goat off My Back
Bought my 05 a few years ago with 63k on it for 13.9
Nice!!
2004 gto but i paid $5,500 out of Georgia
Oh damn!! 😳😳
@@DRGOAT yeah but I'm still fixing everything on it rn lol. Such as the rack and pinion needs to be fixed the power steering needs to be fixed and now my water pump has to be replaced but I have more to do to the car lol. I have a stage 4 na cam kit from brian tooley racing I also have 243 heads and I have an all aluminum intake with a 102mm port and a 102mm throttle body but I still need gaskets and arp bolts then I'll be able to dyno tune the car. Planning to make somewhere around 500 wheel. Oh forgot mention I have slp longtube headers going to a 3 inch x pipe exuasht and resonators and I have a k&n cai
@@itsagto2560 sounds like a process man! Once you get the things that need fixed out of the way, all the go fast parts will be a bonus!!
@@DRGOAT but I already have go fast parts 😅
@@itsagto2560 I know 😅 I’m just saying when those issues are fixed you’ll enjoy getting the cam and heads and what not on!
I just found one for a steal !! Less then 100k miles the person doesn't know what they have only asking 800 bucks !!
YEAAAARIGHT.... THATS ONE OF THOSE IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD ITS GOTTA BE TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE
It probably has a big issue
Incorrect sir The gto isn’t easy to find parts for :/
I think he’s talking about engine parts. Yeah body panels and etc are harder to find though
Yes I was talking about engine parts, I will agree that body panels and replacement parts like that can be hard to find 😬 can’t believe Bobby Hill commented on my video though! 😃😃
@@DRGOAT Yes sir I love me some gtos !!
Hell yeah!! 👊😎
If you can’t be an idiot in a quick car life isn’t worth living!!! 😂
Just like my G8 most fifth gen. Camaro drive train and suspension components are interchangeable.
Have a 06 m6 torrid red with the sap front facia, and kooks headers with 3"race exhaust. Has 38,000 on the odometer. Absolutely Awsome!!!
Awesome!!
I have one for sell if anyone is looking to buy one! 06 Pontiac GTO (RED) and it’s stock!
Got one whats the next step boss
Awesome! Now you decide if you want to mod it and what exactly your goal is for the car if you do want to mod it! 🤔
Prices not dropping anymore. Going up quicker then gas prices. 2021 now and inflation taking hold. I just saw a stock 2006 low mileage sell for $27K.
Oh I’ve noticed! When I made this video and quite a while before that, prices had been pretty low in my opinion 🤷♂️ prices now have gotten fairly high 😬
