During the round 0 of the 2015 IDC (Italian Drift Challenge) I recorded again this great sounding 2.5 litre 1JZ-GTE powered Nissan Silvia S15 with around 600bhp. The car is driven by the Italian drifter Mario Guidi. #nissan #nissansilvia #nissans15 #nissansilvias15 #jdm #drifting #1jz
SO BRUTE, BRUTE AND BRUTE THIS CAR!!!!!! I love your vids man, SO MUCH!!!! You don't play ANYTHING GAY FUCKING MUSIC SHIT! This BOOST, SEEMS LIKE TO ME A BEETHOVEN'S SYMPHONY ... Thanks for the consideration!
it seems like either they need a slightly more aggressive driver, or the jz isn't running quite right :/ just doesnt seem like they're getting nearly the claimed 600hp down
The 1jz engine is just not as powerful with a single cam. It is possible to be agressive and get a high amount of hp though, a 2jz with a twin cam system would do much better.
Cuyler Leonard Actually, I was wrong, both engines have twin cams, yet the 2jz has twin cam sequential timing. This makes the 2jz better suited for turbos. Didn't really seem like he needed the RPMs to be higher either. Looks as if he was just warming up or practicing.
Sorry but that was idiotic at best. Hope there's more mature/serious stuff too come. Rethoric question: what's with the huge rear spoiler on a car going 50 kph with the parking break on all the time?
You obviously aren't familiar with drifting, so allow me to enlighten you. Also some advice, what ever you do, don't ridicule something you don't know much about, instead, just ask the question like normal. You could cause someone to be angry, just because they didn't like your tone. But yes believe it, or not, the rear wing is there to stabilize the rear end of the car when drifting at a high speed. When clutch kicking, and using the e-brake, it causes the tires to lose grip for a moment in order to produce an angle, the rear wing then pushes the rear to the ground in order to regain grip and maintain better control. Obviously he wasnt going fast here, because they were practice or test runs, he has no need to chase or lead, because he isnt in a battle. For the most part, the wing is for performance, but it is also there for looks, because everyone in the drifting community likes large rear wings on the backs of certain cars, in this case, the silvia s15.

В большом угле не едет почему-то?
👌

You're right, but at the same time, if he kept the RPMs up that wouldn't be a problem. Hence why i say they need a more aggressive driver

probly the case
which is the wheel name?
+Adrian Fonseca volk te37?
Ah sabia que era
gram light 57d
Sounds like a rotary
you really havent heard a rotary before.... xD
DVN it does sound slightly like a 20b not gonna lie but oh so slightly
It's a shame he can't drive it like Christy Carpenter used to.
Lee Broadley was this christy's purple one he had ?
It needs to be 2jz!
+Austin Green why is that?
s15 is light but this engine only makes it heavier... SR proves himself as best engine for a drift version of this car
Nah the 1j sounds way better
Poor clutch...

downforce to not spin out completely
Not at those speeds...
It's the only logical answer I could come up with because honestly I don't think it needs that big ass wing either.

That my friend is called stability and grip.
Hell of a machine but the pilot cdnt hold it...
