    One of the main reasons why they murdered her was to get her wealth. She was not legally married to her new husband. They just had a marriage ceremony. So if she died, then her wealth would not go to her husband but to her children, And the former husband, being the father of the kids they had together would get control of the money. Also, another reason why the apartment ownership is important is because if the Kwon family can prove that the apartment was as gift, they can try to sell the apartment to pay off their debt, etc.

      And Kadoorie Hills is actually a wealthy residential neighborhood within Hong Kong and not a separate city/town/village from Hong Kong. This would be important to note for prestige and for law enforcement and for the ever present cameras in Hong Kong since the 1997 transfer to China. This neighborhood would give his murderous family "face" or prestige while the outlying districts closer to the border with Shenzen and mainland China would lack in that prestige. Also note that China still has the death penalty for murder.
      Sadly it is now time for the Cannes Film Festival in France and Abby was last in France and Monaco in February just before her murder. She already had several important events to participate in during the Festival and her last postings and interview in OFFICIEL magazine detail how much she was looking forward to coming back to the Riviera. Adrian, kudos to how well you do your research and storytelling. Absolutely impeccable style.
    I'd love for you to cover the Sheena Bora case from India. It's one of the most twisted, vile and complex cases ever. The accused mother while awaiting sentencing has now been let out on bail. Nobody's talking about it anymore either.

    You noticed how Adrian always has plenty of pics and clips to show during his Videos.. keeps you captivated and interested. Not naming names but, alot of channels just don't have the same effort. I used to live in Taipo for 3 years... for 30 years now in Singapore, this horrific murder has shaken all of Asia. She was a genuine generous princess who mingled with the worse family probably existing in Hong Kong. It has been said that she was a wonderful caring mother and wife. She had no reason to help those monster but she had a big heart and it cost her her life. At least, one can find solace knowing that this family will never walk out of jail, that jail in HK are very low standard and hopefully they'll live to realise that they should have chosen a new flat behind bars. Let's Karma do the rest.
    I hope that Abby is resting in peace and her family manages little by little to deal with such precious loss.
    Thanks Adrian

      So very true! People have to learn to work for their own things. Sometimes when you are given too much without receiving the knowledge and experience on how to access it, you become so arrogant and entitled to the point that you think that someone else, including everything that they own, is an extension of you!

    • @SerenityChaos1975

      Their sense of entitlement is not her fault!

    • @schoolwork232
      @schoolwork232 Год назад

      @@SerenityChaos1975 I am not blaming her but we also have to realise that just because we are overly nice or generous to people does not mean that our actions will be reciprocated positively. Sometimes, our behaviors can enable/nurture evil and vileness, especially if the people we are interacting with and helping have wicked hearts. That my friend is the way the world is and that is why wisdom is very important because it can save us from so much trouble. Having discernment is very essential.
      The world is wicked and people are willing to take and even destroy all the goodness that we have to offer whenever they get a chance, or whenever they are used to receiving so much from us. When we choose to start creating boundaries, they will feel threatened and there is no way of determining how they will behave/react. This is the world that we live in. I only wish someone had advised her differently, much earlier, and maybe, this could not be her predicament.
      P/S:-
      Also, it could be that there is more to this story than what we are being shown. It is only a matter of time before we truly find out what is really going on here!
      I do hope and pray to God that Abby Choi gets the justice she deserves

    Abby may still be alive today if she had just written off the apartment as a business loss, and washed her hands of the parasitic family. With her net worth this may have been a practical solution (in retrospect). She seems like she never had a chance to relax and do anything but be a successful businesswoman. Thanks for posting her tragic story.
