Same here - - I don't think I will be able to use the Art Forms in Nature pages in a journal project, but I'm glad I got it anyway. And I've already started fussy cutting the labels!
These books were SO amazing Nancy!!! 😍😍😍 The labels and the font books are awesome as well as that Flowers one, and the pages in that “My Lady Caprice” 👏🏻👌🏻 I’m impartial to the “Andersen” one as that is my maiden name….spelled with the “e” 🥰 I love them all!!!
I LOVE a good library book sale! We have one coming up next week and i’ll pay to go early, too. In my world, there is no such thing as having too many books. Always love the florals!
It was soooooo hot on Thursday, and the warehouse that they were using for the sale was NOT air conditioned. I coulda died! (LOL!) But it was worth it.
We have that book sale at our libraries here in Michigan too. (I don't know where you're from) Too bad I'm gone on a short Vaca with my sweetheart for our anniversary! 59 years 💞. TFS🤗
Hello Nancy, what great books! I’ve been to the library sale here in Kentucky but I’ve never seen such old books at our sales! Amazing finds! 🧷🩷✂️ Trish
They actually separated the old books in their own section, so it was easy to find them. Some of them were VERY expensive, but I'm thrilled the ones with condition problems were so inexpensive.
I can’t believe it Nancy, I just now found your channel by chance only to find out you live in the city I moved from (Assuming you’re from Guelph, Ontario or the area) I lived 5 blocks away from the Guelph library. You just made my day. I miss Guelph. Lived there for 60 years.
I enjoyed seeing everything you got Nancy! I love the Hans Christian Anderson book, the Cuckoo book, and the colorful labels book. I also loved the books from 1916...were there two? My mother was born that year so I would find them very interesting to look through I'm sure. You had some really great choices today!
That was a great haul, Nancy! Too bad that red book had mold on the back because I thought it was fabulous! Maybe you can use the front cover to maker a journaling board for one of the other books?
You got some great books! My favorites are the labels book and the Art Forms in Nature. So cool!

Today is the last day of the sale - I might go back and see if I missed any goodies!

Thank you for the share! I had not seen the T.H. Everett illustrated books but now they are on my radar!
Happy Hunting!

As soon as I saw it, I GRABBED it!

I left Guelph 10 years ago, but I'm just up the road in Kitchener. I lived right downtown next to the Quebec St. Mall!!! We miss Guelph so much!!!
@@WishesandWeeds I’ve only been gone for 4 years. I’m now in Nova Scotia. A little further than you. 😂 Have a freak day.
I'm excited to see how you use them!
Me too!

I might just make a new back from chip board, I'm so in love with that cover!
The Anderen's Tales for the Young is circa1885.
OH thank you for letting me know!
