Without taking the two extreme sides, that is, Calvinism and Arminianism, you can be a Confessional Lutheran by following the narrow Lutheran middle: Scriptural Road, not Reason above Scripture road.

You seem to dismiss the law of non-contradiction. You can't have it both ways. Both A and Non-A can't be both true at the same time. A => God elected/determined/predestined those He would save and Christ died for those for whom God elected from eternity past. Non-A => Humans could choose to believe in Christ and those who chose to receive the gift of faith will be saved. God foreknows those who will choose and He elects/saves those. So who moved first? God or humans? Middle Knowledge - Molinism : the answer for the two (Calvinism vs arminianism) views which are linear (Predestination vs Freewill) way of thinking. It is a reconciling view. Molinism states God considers all possible worlds in which an individual can possibly exist and out of these possible worlds, God creates a universe in which the maximum number of people are saved by using their own libertarian free will. The problem with Calvinism - it could lead to determinism - if everything determined/predestined, where is the love? Arminiasm weak point : could lead to too much emphasis on human freedom. God sent His Son to die on the cross and shed His blood and left the choice to humans who are wicked and frail in their natural inclination.
