i feel like people that are actually trained in music can definitely notice how much her voice has improved, how much she stays in pitch and how her breathing has improved enourmously. the people laughing at and criticising her are probably not the ones she would go to music advice anyway lol
Hey!!! So I am trying to improve my natural singing ability even though I get multiple compliments I don't really believe them. What does breathing do for singing and how can I improve on my own???
@@mikafizz1022 Hey, I'm not exactly an expert on singing, I was trained classically in piano, which still helps a lot with noticing whether a person stays in pitch or if they're off-key but I'm not the world's most incredible singer by any stretch of the imagination. But I've noticed that doing breathing exercises has given my voice more power over time and I can reach higher notes than I used to, but again I'm not well versed in the mechanics of it all. I suggest you look up some breathing techniquesand some beginner (or intermediate) vocal warm ups and exercises, there are plenty on RUclips. Just trust the process and stay consistent
@@mikafizz1022 You don't have to focus on your breathing a lot but the basic diaphragmatic breathing is must. You can sing using the normal breathing too but you'll most probably suffer voice breaks and your voice will go shrill on higher notes. Search for diaphragmatic breathing it's really important, just practice it for a month it'll become a habit. Also mixed voice is the most important factor, if you sing in your mixed voice breathing won't bother you much but breathing is the first step so getting the muscle memory of diaphragmatic breathing is really helpful in the long run
@@kerelenis She definitely improved that much is pretty clear but like you said you were trained in classical piano you should know it's pretty easy for us, who know how to play an instrument before learning to sing, to have a great pitch before really learning something because of all our ear training in the instrument but like it's mentioned in the video she literally has zero talent which is why she would've to spend so much of her time on ear training and staying on pitch which we actually devote to our voice and therefore at the end of this video all she sang was a song in her chest voice which was actually autotuned, not saying she didn't improve but it's not very hard for a female to sound great with just her autotuned chest voice

Most of the comments are really unnecessary. This is a great video. It shows realistic progress and I'm impressed by how her confidence grew so much from the start to the end! The voice can always be improved and she's doing amazing! Her dedication alone is impressive and I'm excited to hear more from her in the future.

First of all, she has made huge improvement. These comments are messed up. She is coming from ZERO talent, so keep that in mind. She's not gonna sound like a frog and then wake up and be Whitney Houston. She couldn't even hold a basic note, at the end she was able to hold a tune. With way more practice she can be very good.
Why does everybody have to hate?? Shes just trying her best and will continue to improve as time goes on. I can tell that she has been working hard and I believe in her!!

I can di some high notes, but I'm more confudent in middle range note (don't really know how to say it lol) and in some low notes.
Heads up: take the filter off, it doesn’t magically make you sound like a good singer. Sorry
it could just be reverb. some forms of reverb arent considered as a filter or autotune

But yeah they do and that is okay but this is a journey about how she "learned" to sing and I think we should hear her real singing because in America's got talent you can't use autotune because if you want to be an artist you have to know to sing and autotune is not used to make you sing good it is just an effect that is used for some high pitched shit or low idk but you have to know how to actually sing
Its not autotune, its a process called vocal doubling or dubbing paired with effects such as reverb and delay or echo to make vocals sound thicker

I remember when I was 7 years old grade, my friend could sing really good and I wanted to sing like her. So I started trying to sing but as I tried, I noticed that I had a crack in my voice called a voice trimmer. She would always lie to me and said I sounded really good when really I didn't. But that didn't stop me at all from singing. I then joined my church choir and also joined a program called the Chicago Children's Choir, It helped me a lot. My voice has gotten a lot better these past years. Right now I'm 13 years old and I hope this inspires people to keep doing what you're doing and not let people put you down!

Just wow. I know I'm very late to this but the amount you progressed is actually *"insane"* as stated in the title. You really started from very little in terms of singing to actually being able to hold notes with relative ease. Hey. I am very proud of you. You did your best and you keep going and that is something many of us can't achieve. I am singing also and I remember how it was hard in the beggining and sometimes it still is now.. I am working on myself too to be a great singer and I can definitely tell it is a hard work. I would recommend find yourself a good teacher who will give you the necessary basics. Breathing is really important. Also I am a pianist and I think having a piano so you can see where your notes are really helps. Hope you still find singing enjoyable. It is really cool from you sharing this! :) thanks

I am on 10 months now of consistent practice every week. I do not practice everyday, but at least 3-5 times a week. And I must say this is pretty normal! What I mean I have had the same progress you have had in the same amount of time. I ve gotten much better at speaking, singing on pitch etc, but I still struggle with high notes. If the song is on the right key for me, I sound pretty decent! Progress is progress, Im excited to hear your improvements video, hopefully you did make them in these years!

I actually started vocal exercises after realising it's impact...I was also a good singer and I became way better in breathing and maintaining pitches

You improved a lot, from not being able to sing ANYTHING, to getting the stability in your voice, catching the right pitch, creating your own adlibs when and wherever you like and also writing and composing songs.

Improvement is there. Just 6 months are nothing in comparison to how long one usually needs to become decent at a skill. Keep it going!

I am just starting out with my singing journey too 😂 I got some experience with journeys like these through art so yea... Let's calculate with at least 10 years to become decent. 😱 (but I think it's gonna be worth it)

I started singing when I was 12 almost everyday and when I was 16 I grew pretty decent and when I was 18-20 I became good and its becos I never gave up trying to practice my pitch and voice control.
