Hello, your content is great is a go to for many. I am still learning and watching when I can. I am finding it difficult to find the work environments for your demos. Sand box and so on. Any help will be appreciated.
Just wanna say I don't think you should feel bad for communicating honestly with your base about the realities of needing an income. You've been so incredably helpful to so many and are a fantastic resource. Thanks! 🤝
Hi Cobuman, hope you're doing well. You've been working in IT support for a while and I just needed some advice. I am really struggling to find a job as help desk / tech support. I am A+ certified and by watching your videos, I've learned about Active Directory, O365 administration and many skills related to helpdesk. I do not have experience but I have a lot of hands-on experience from my home lab. I live in Canada and am out of luck to get a job now I'm out of options and don't know what to do. I appreciate your feedback :).
Hello. It can be hard to break into an IT job and certainly takes some effort, but if you keep it simple and just keep at it-I'm sure you can get a job. Here is my advice on this: ruclips.net/video/-gNQbBlTGAs/видео.html
btw, this is just me...but im not typically watching too many IT videos recently bcus i got hired in early january...and bcus im also learning on the job, i have less of a desire to watch videos like these at times. From time to time ill watch some, but it's not your content that's the issue for me...i just watch less videos in general now...only if ive recently had an issue at my job that id like to dive in deeper on, then ill watch videos related to that
Dude, pretty good content I was a tier one but I don’t have any certifications I would look now all your videos and try to look for some courses if you have the way to share free links for courses or not expensive one I would really appreciate that new. Subscriber and I will learn as much I can from all the videos
I'm glad you like my videos. I do have some courses on Udemy, but generally speaking I have the same content on this channel. I have a bunch of Playlists so I suggest go to my channel front page (ruclips.net/user/cobuman), scroll down and see what might interest you. I hope that helps.
Cobu man, if you have 2 min to reply or show this in one if your videos i would really appreciate. A lot of people in my company have problems with voip, they use the rainbow app through a alcantel phone system (idk what exactly that means and is going on). I have a lot of tickets about phone calls that break in the middle of the talk, or others say the customer cant understand them because of bad voice quality. Somehow there is noone to deal with that and i want to help, but i dont know where to start :(
I think it's great that you are wanting to help them. When it comes to voip systems the main reason for dropped calls is the bandwidth. In other words, I would start by testing the response time between rainbow app and the alcantel hardware. On your computer, perform a trace route test. Here is my video on that: ruclips.net/video/esWuACdwuJ0/видео.html But first, you need to find the ip address or the server name of voip system. This should be visible inside the rainbow app somewhere... Everything else is explained in the video.
sir when I am connecting my new laptop to domain, then I when I try to connect it to any shared folder the user account gets locked and I am unable to connect to shared printer or folder. But after formatting the problem goes away. Can you please help why its happening as I have to connect many laptops to domain.
We use AD Query tool/website that tells us which accounts got locked out, what time, and computer location. If you don't have that and you know this only happens when connecting to a shared folder, it could mean that this person is logged in somewhere else with an old password. You can delete stored passwords from the credentials manager on that PC. You can reboot any computer used by the person getting locked out. Before you reformat the computer, check all of these things and try to figure out where the lock out is happening. It could be at another computer. Lastly, make sure that person has access to shared folder.
Depends if you are going to run virtual machines and setup a computer lab for which you need a lot of RAM and Good CPU (that can be expensive). But, to follow along with Help Desk videos any working computer with Win 10 or Win 11 should be fine. Like a refurbished laptop should do fine. Here is an example: amzn.to/48A5eZO
Tracy seems to complain a lot, jokes aside, just started watching your videos like yesterday they're very informative and very easy to understand even though I'm not a native English speaker, keep it up.
I love your videos and ur videos give me tons of knowledge about technical stuff I am mad at RUclips should not cut the % because it is a very big plattform and helpful for everyone if they cut % then nobody makes and watch videos. You should make Udemy too for more income but keep up with videos don’t leave this platform. We need you as our helpdesk teacher and thank you for your content 😊😊😊
Thank you. I really appreciate the motivation. It's starting to look slightly better so I will wait and see... but will always have something on youtube. 😁
these are great, im getting more confident watching these as I apply for help desk. I already have my comptia a+ cert and been working as a hardware workstation move tech installer for 6 months. any advice for applying in a healthcare type of setting. I worked as a nurse assitant for ten years and would like to combine my work experiences in a work setting where i can still help my fellow health care workers, through a computer haha.
Please can you please tell me, in 3 weeks I want to learn and apply for job of Windows Server based, any help, playlist on RUclips, needed your recommendations. @cobuman
Well, I'm not sure for which job you are asking but here are some related videos: AD Interview Questions: ruclips.net/video/PXzRDCK5tiM/видео.html Server Questions: ruclips.net/video/bvGBVaipoqk/видео.html AD, DHCP, DNS training: ruclips.net/video/-nUwF8bsOQI/видео.html There are more. Just go to my channel and search for topics.
I know this is an older video, but I've been watching your videos start to finish. I also recently got a job offer today as a Service Desk Analyst. If everything goes well I start September 9th. Your video helps me to mentally prepare for this future position.

That makes sense. Once people learn enough to get them started and get a job-then you can learn more on the job.

Which laptop you recommend to buy to follow along with learning it help desk bc i find it hard to understand some videos without learning it hands on.

Usually Tier 1 is basic computer navigation, issues and login issues. Tier 2 is more advanced software troubleshooting.

For the office view only issue, the fact that they are on a Mac does not matter?
