Hey Ervin I really like the content you uploading, it's really helpfull for the people like me, who trying to get a job in IT. I am watching your videos and trying to get a job in IT but in every interview they asked me a question "Tell me a situation where you handle a difficult ticket or handle a difficult situation" can you please make a short videos on this explaining some difficult scenerios for L1 support. I'm glad my videos are helping. In my Interview Questions and Answers videos example: ruclips.net/video/WMwrGMo6yr4/видео.html To answer that properly all they want to hear is that you were able to stay calm, organized and that you've resolved the problem. Probably in regards to dealing with an angry or nasty customer but the situation needs to be from your experience. Could be from another job where you deal with customers.
Hi Ervin, thank you for the tutorial this is very helpful for me. As I have been selected for Bread Financial US in service desk support and I am from non technical background but after watching your videos it helped me out at least I got a picture of it that how the support desk will be.
Im just about to start a new IT-jobb with some Tier1 support. Big fan of the video, gives a good insight and visuals in what to be expected. However, I can't help to notice that on the tickets u keep asking for IP-adress/PC-name which I feel should be filled in/required when filing a ticket to save the support and the costumer a lot of time. Assuming they went home for the day you are stuck with that ticket waiting for a response. Much love, appreciate this work.

Hello. Welcome to my channel.
Thank you so much for this wonderful content! Very informative. This field seems much vaster than I realized. Coming from a customer service background, I feel like I’d enjoy this type of work. You are a great instructor!
Glad it was helpful! I'm sure you can do it. You've got half of the skill already which is customer service.
@@Cobuman thank you so much for the insight! May I ask how common would you say work from home positions are for entry level Helpdesk?
@@sapphirelane1714 Probably fairly common. You can search for "remote" jobs on indeed or similar.
I was watching the video and didn’t see how you accessed the user’s computer remotely? Aside from the user’s name where do you type the name into? Remote access steps please if possible?
Also I just subscribed to your channel and wanted to say God bless you for your help and just very easy step by step to follow! You are absolutely a Godsend 🙏
I love and Enjoy all your videos very helpful and educative for everyone. I like the real time scenario the "freezing twice a day PC" the caller was calm and not demanding i hope most caller were like this its amazing. Thank you!
My pleasure. Welcome to my channel. 😁
Great material, sometimes its the little things that make all the difference.
Exactly.
as always, thank you so much! Seriously I feel like I can finally sleep at night after watching these. I'm realizing working this job at the entry level might not be as crazy difficult as job posting make it appear.
You can do it! 😁
hey i'm actually starting two weeks from now and really nervous lol. how is everything? did you know how to do things right off the bat? what do you do when you don't know how to solve something? I'm working remotely so I'm scared of not having somebody like a co-worker to fall back on to when I'm not sure how to help an end user
@@stun1673 Keep watching these videos bud. I promise you’ll learn sooo much.
Ervin has helped me level up in some many areas of IT.
One of the best IT videos! Thanks a lot!
Sure thing. I'm glad you like it.
@@Cobuman Can you create and add video for all IT jobs on cruise ships? I mean on Information technologies that use on Cruiser ship companies??
@@itsectorba9233 I don't know what you mean by "cruiser ships".
That would be a great help.
Glad it was helpful! Don't worry too much, I'm sure they will provide some training as well.
OMG you have shown me how much catch up I need to do 😐 Thanks for the wake up call
My pleasure.
Great video for new Tech Support people. Thank you 👍🏻

Sure thing. Good to see you again.

I was looking for a channel just like this. Just subscribed :)
Welcome to my channel.
Thanks man. This is Mr obvious material but i bet it is useful to ppl looking to get into that.
Exactly, mostly for people new to IT. Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for the video! Future help desk here
Sure thing. Welcome to the channel.
Normally everyone is watching Netflix and stuff, but I right to this place to kill time and learn.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hello. I'm glad you like my videos. Yeah, I agree. Most of the time ip/pc name will be included.
