You can use the cliff to good effect to keep your settlers farming on the beach safe as enemies won't come down over it - their tracking always takes them around the two sides. Moreover, if you fort the top of the cliff solid and put your turrets up on it, they can cover both ways in for those long settlement assault / condenser repair missions. I usually use barn foundation blocks to wall from the cliff to the sea on the beach side so the only access is on the other side to take it down to a single point of defense. Of course, that is if you are using turrets as your primary defense. If you are up arming your settlers, you just need to keep your power/water/crops out of the line of fire. I find using settlers for defense on Far Harbor is harder than most areas as the best gear for them (ballistic fiber for ballistic weave clothing, heavy combat armor, and good settler weapons - miniguns and gatling lasers) are scarce on the island.
Having recently moved to real-life New England, it cracks me up every time the locals refer to “Fah Hahbah.” EDIT: I’m talking about the in-game locals here. It’s good to know that not even nuclear war can wipe out the north country accent.

I searched a long time for a workshop at the brooke's head lighthouse, it just seemed like such an obvious settlement location and I was so puzzled when I couldn't find it. Really disappointed that it isn't a settlement, it's one of the more interesting locations on the map. Would've been a better spot than daltons farm.
Why do i feel really anxious but yet happy whenever i watch FO4 Lore vids, im anxious because it scares me for the possible reality of a nuclear war and what'll come in its wake, but happy because its really interesting and knowing that i could literally drown myself in the stories of the FO universe for hours on end.
I understand, my friend. With World War 3 being a very real possibility with the current world events, I worry about what would happen if full scale war broke out. How appealing would a nuclear weapon be to politicians if it spared soldiers and resources? I hope that everyone that works for the higher ups have enough sense to prevent the egotistical bastards from blowing up the world.
Ms Dalton was one of my favorite characters here. I loved the back stories put into each of the quests. This quest felt realistic with how she presents it.
