Materials:
C-Studs: they are used in a vertical position for the assembly of Self-supporting Cladding and Partitions, as a structure to fix the Laminated Plasterboard. Knauf does not recommend using them on Ceilings. They have different widths, being in all cases 1 mm less than the channels, which allows them to be inserted into them. The most common C uprights are: C47/35, C69/40 and C89/40 for cladding, partitions and ceilings with large spans. Not recommended for normal ceilings.
U Channels: they are used as perimeter profiles for the assembly of Self-supporting Cladding, Partitions and Ceilings, as a structure to fix the Laminated Plasterboard. They have different widths, depending on the total thickness of the System to be built. The most common U channels are: U48/30, U70/30 and U90/30 for cladding, partitions and ceilings with large spans. Not recommended for normal ceilings.
Plate for passive fire protection systems.
Composed of a plaster core mixed with glass fibers from 3 to 30mm (0.2% of its weight) and faces covered with a cardboard sheet. Easily identifiable by its apparent pink face and hidden cream face.
The Firewall plate is characterized by its high resistance to fire, maintaining the advantages of a Standard when handling it.
Cool idea, but I would use a smaller circle.
I thought that at first too, but he basically used the minimum size he could given the depth of the deepest point. Although using that for a rough fit, then going again with a smaller wheel to fine tune it possible if wanted/needed.
@@MattWeber I have recently tried this and with different sized circles and the smaller the better the profile you get. I did also find depending on how rough or tight turns there are also plays a factor in this as well.

A circle that size is about right for drywall. You can’t cut it more accurately. The excess is most easily cut cit a snap-off knife. Score the drywall side and dimly break the excess. No cut the fold with the same knife.
You need to have plastic between the stone and drywall. The moisture from the stone will eventually damage the drywall
True. but hes in Spain it only rains twice a year I'd worry about everything turning into dust and cactuses lol
Good idea but the circle needs to be atleast half the size for the gaps to be much better for profile, but I like the logic
Mud man to the rescue!
@@darrylsmith2233 😂
Also, the profile is close to 1 of the board surfaces, it will not account to the board thickness.
All he needs to do is use the scribe there would be no gaps

My Ocd : not good enough , lets make it worse 💀

TO THE PEOPLE WHO HATE:
In certain countries/cities,
This is actually professional.
Have some respect. Most of you
couldn't even use a drill.
And if you're under 20,
I HOPE YOU ENJOY SLAVERY
AS YOUR FUTURE, the scrolling will only go so far before you're doing what he's doing.
You got that right. Kids today can never understand with the luxuries they're brought up with
nice to wish that on future generations
Very handy if you are scribing plasterboards into the side of a mountain,I need to get myself one of these little wheels as I find myself cuting plasterboard into mountains every day
🤣
Side of a mountain 😂😂😂

Bro had me squinting cutting that drywall over the camera like that lmao
Nice trick, but I couldn’t have the bare board touching the stone. Just incase of moisture whether inside or out
My thoughts
this looks like the moisture board i get from my supplier, can’t be sure though.
Oh my gapness!!!!!!!
Lol
The „I have a friend, who would make it for half the money“- award goes to:
Если маленький круг взять то и зазоры будут точнее
Так то да, но вырезать придëтся лобзиком
Te recomiendo una buena navaja retractable! Muy buen Tip!!
🤭🤣 Saludos amigo
He probably thought: if I use pink drywall no one will notice the mahuuusive gaps at the back.
Pink is fire line board
@@NoPlus500 yep, but still distracts from gap
No one will see the gaps - they're all enclosed - with the exception of how the end pieces look. And, when at the end, I'd bet he has a way for finishing that so it looks very nice. My concern would be the trapped moisture. How is that mitigated so as to not create problems of mold or whatever other issue arise if that moisture doesn't dry out - won't it deteriorate the drywall?
Slick. While not the best application, this approach narrows the gap enough that a sealant can now be effectively applied.
Super 👍
Gracias por el aporte...excelente
Wow,nice move.never thought of that🤗.thanks to this video.👏
Work on your straight cuts. Your doing great keep it up. Soon you will learn.
good idea using an electrical pancake box. not the tightest job. a fender washer would have perfected that idea. cool video 👍
Thank you brother ☺️
Nice work. Smart idea.
20 years gyprock, just learned something new
Love how these types of videos are called "how to..." Cracks me up like 'this is it lads, look no further!' 🤦🏼♂️
How would you do it better?
BRILLIANT 💥
That’s brilliant.
Very nice work amigo 👍
Cool idea I’m gonna use it
Wait a second Stonewall's weep moisture why are we putting drywall up against that is that waterproof drywall
IF his basement Drywall is example of his entire house .. . He is doomed ..
I was just thinking. Why would you ever do this?
Yes purple and green board are moisture resistant
@@wesleypepple7525 the paper is. The core is regular old gypsum.
@@iansmith8054 it doesn't matter it's still moisture proof
Fantastico
Use a smaller disc for even closer cut
That's a good one 👍
what happens when that wall sweats? I mean that's why I thought we don't join concrete to drywall.
The boards might be moisture resistant but where I live they’re blue or green think pink is fire
Great idea.
Looks good enough from my house 😅
Clever man.
COOL TRICK👍
i would flat cement that wall first before ill install it. work smart guys!
Boa!
I think a smaller wheel would have helped a lot
Use something with a much smaller diameter so you don't get suck large gaps
Use a small metal washer instead, you’ll get a more accurate marking,
Don’t give up the day job homie
Nice!
Very rough job
great idea
Simplicity is its own technology
Future residents mold farm
This awesome cave living.
There's something called a scribe.. super cheap and really makes easy work of it, and it's so much cleaner/tighter
Same purpose and I doubt a scribe rides the wall the same.
the old man had a stroke watching this🤣
Nice trick. 👍 That I will probably never need. Ah well.
Maybe a smaller diameter would make it even more accurate.
Maybe a better craftsmanship
Nice try
thanks
Salam merci
Super... lauter kleine Löcher in den Fugen.
Thought of a more precise tool idea if that's more desirable for customers or whatever it is. My thought is a sort of protractor that instead you guide the pen across a straight jig line down your drywall board, the pen sits on a ball that's basically a wheel to guide the pen, connected to the pen with the wheel is the actual pen itself, and the pen rotates at an axis parallel to the other part which is adjustable to fit the angle which I'll describe the necessity for it, another part is connected which is a long adjustable and collapsible rod fitted with a wheel, this attachment is fixed and doesn't rotate around the main pen with the ball wheel unless you were manually fixing the angle at which you're recording the surface of the stone. The accuracy of the trace will depend on the strength of the long arm with the wheel, perhaps maybe even as small as another ball bearing, but basically thr long arm has a spring, so as you're moving along the guide line, the terrain will compress the spring shrinking the arm, as it goes over a decline, it'll depress but might be tricky over ridge like areas if not just inaccurate altogether. Anyways the point of this device is to be able to trace and come back at different angles as long as you adjust the pen itself at the correct angle that you're pushing the long arm at for precise leverage, and what helps keep the angle is that guide line, and maybe something minimal that helps keep a consistent angle, maybe it won't work but still, sounds pretty useful in a niche way if it does work
Edit: just did a tad bit of research. Ya there's no need for what I was talking about at all lol but I'll still leave the comment
that's trick,very clever 👌👌
*how clever*
When he sanded he did it with out ear plugs 😮
Cool skills, but that wall is too beautiful to hide behind plaster boards imo.
Amazing
Merci..
Nice one,, just use a knife to score the back of the board and snap, save sawing near the external angle
It's not a straight edge though, so it won't snap cleanly
@@garethmcrae668 he ment on the other side
@@D33J3nk1 Gotcha- I must be tired- he even said 'the external angle'. I will leave up as a testament to the need to get more sleep and not comment on YT late at night 😔😴
I just came to see what he Made!
Un aplauso para este truco
Nice
Masssssssive disc to use and horrendous scribe but kinda along the right lines and better than a straight cut I guess
Must be remodeling the Batcave. 😅
Muy cuachalote
If you take smaller ring the result will be more precise.
Close but no cigar!
Yea like Spiro graph.....over 50s will understand 😂.
Yea drywall touching concrete. So smart
✌️✌️🇧🇷
AAAHH PERRO
Could get this super tight with a ticking stick or an actual protractor...
Cool
I liked the old rock look better
use un valero más pequeño👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Good enough 😂
Why would anyone want to cover that beautiful stone wall?!??
