one thing to do that saves an insane amount of time is making an above ground mushroom biome on the dungeon. Not only does this save you the effort of not needing to build one to get the truffle, but getting that extra pylon right on the dungeon saves so much walking time

you can also try and get a magic conch from desert fishing and end up on the dungeon side beach which is less time consuming
Ocean pylon is either way best suited on dungeon side of the map since the dungeon itself works as a wall from evil infection. If you need to approach the opposite ocean it's close to jungle or cave pylon if you built it in aether, which is always a thing in my worlds. Also there's nothing to do in dungeon pre-hardmode that often(even post-plantera if you know how to build the mob farm), in post-plantera you can just build a bed up here if you having troubles with living
Oh btw its great to certify a jungle house for witch doctor, he will sell wings and give great advantage for early hardmode.

Leaf wings can only he purchased at night after plantera is defeated
As of 1.4.4, leaf wings are not sold until Plantera has been defeated. So this tip is outdated now unfortunately.

@@massivediamond1807 At the start of hard mode, a V shape is created from the underworld to the surface with one of the sides being the evil biome in your world, and the other side being the hallow!
This is why i save my dirt blocks

Don't forget when u do make a soul farm it's also helpful as an AFK key mold farm. I left my console on all night and was lucky enough to get 1 before
What i've done pre bee queen cause im waitng for the people i play with to beat bosses. I hot terra spark boots, bundle of horse shoe ballons, frog gear, shield of cuthulu & feral claws is what i decided on. Also made the shellphone, night's edge, a fishing setup with angler's armor, lava proof tackle box, fishing bobber, another terra spark boots and golden fishing rod.
Quick Note: At 02:43 there should be a Builder Potion not a Mining one, my bad. RUclips must have glitched big time and changed it ¯\_( ͡• ͜ʖ ͡•)_/¯

I like to also build my main arena for the mech bosses and for plantera before hardmode because its easier without all those hardmode mobs, especially in the jungle for plantera.

One more thing, not related to this video but related to fishing.
Make one big lake and one small lake, so you can fish for trash in the small one to use in an extractinator for more bait than you used

Also, for the platform minecart strategy, you can use a mole minecart to make the minecart building even faster, wasting less time, sold by the zoologist

Make the actual farm BEFORE hardmode so that you dont have to deal with all the hardmode enemies while you make it. Good luck trying to construct a massive farm while getting fucked up by mimics
So where underground so one make the soul farms? Does it matter what biome it is in? Just anywhere in the cavern layer?

About the part 5 im very new to the game and do you need to divide these spread biome from each side you just devide the so the middle one wont get effected by it does the sea side also need to make a elevator?

Wouldn't even bother going through with sectioning off your housing pre hard mode. It takes forever and the hallow or corruption may just spawn there anyways. I spent hours digging trenches and building islands in the sky and the corruption just spawned on the other side of the trenches while the hallow went into the sky and infected all the sky islands. You get much more efficient tools in hardmode for excavation as well as teleporters.

This is well known by now but you can get teleporters pre-hardmode now so that's fun
@@eryscalamitas1611 They probably know about the pylons. It's just that if a pylon gets its biome changed due to corruption or hallow then it'll stop working, unlike a regular teleporter.
Its to stop the spread of the first one, then you should contain the 2nd one and the hollow

For the underground farm, and all of them, if you change the entrance to your afk chamber and fill it with 2 heart lanterns and campfires, and put a 2 wide block of honey, you can boost enemy spawn rates

those don't boost spawn rates, they heal you. To boost spawns you need a water candle.
why 2? and how is that supposed to boost spawn rates?
@@Alex-tu5vu I guess it doesn’t boost them anymore, but in the older versions, some 8 years ago or so, lol, they used to stack and increase spawn rates

skybridge is...not necessary actually. you can get almost all Pylon before hardmode and setup a pylon system easy.
What are those lights in the fishing spot?
it's a good idea to build plantera arena before hardmode as it is much easier without hardmode enemies

What bombs are those
I tried to make the hole next to corruption - it still spread + in hardmode it apeared in half of my jungle >_
make the hole at least 3 blocks wide and line one side with non corruptile blocks like wood.
Shell phone and terra spark boots is useful too.
Also don't forget transmuting all your crates in shimmer after entering hardmode, because after 1.4 update pre-hardmode crates no longer give you those new metals

@@jimbogb terra spark boots are easy, the hardest part is getting the water walking boots since you either have to fish or get really lucky with water chest. All the other items are really simple to get.
@@alanmiraanimethose shoes were the easiest thing for me to obtain actually. I just loaded a spare new world and teleported to the ocean, then dug through the chests ‘til I found them.

Wait, I see people going in the middle to make the lava trap for the mobs instead of putting it on the bottom … which ones better ?
If you make it on the bottom there is a chance move will spawn in any caves below you and if you make it in the middle and put walls or lava in the area below then mobs will only spawn where they can walk into your trap
My girlfriend and I beat the wall of flesh with little to no prep and came back home to a hard mode goblin invasion…horrible
If your in expert mode you can collect 20 treasure bags from eye of cthulhu or king slime for a dev set for easy wings and money

if it is smaller, then your farm suffers from having enemies spawn outside of it
making it larger will probably be beneficial if you're not 100% sure you're able to get the farm done precisely, anyway

I dont like pylons i think they are overrated i always make a bunch of teleporters arround the world post skeletron and put pressure plates on them and make a tall wire all across the world for each two teleporters it does not feel weird or money wasting it feels easy to travel arround the world and i like to make a tall minecart track all arround the world pre skeletron but teleporters are way better man

Yeah my world just got the “Failed to load, no backup found” error, so I’m done with this game after only just getting back into it. No way I’m redoing ~25hrs of progress and I’ve also lost all my chests with everything in them which is great too :/

I think biome spread ruins this game. I spent all day digging hellavators to stop the spread just for the corruption to spawn inside my snow biome breaking that pylon and to have the hollow spawn ontop of my base. It’s such a bullshit feature that makes me stop every world I get into hardmode

The only thing in here that isn't that important, is the sky bridge... I have hundreds, possibly nearing a thousand hours in the game, and they don't do much for you. If you are trying to get sky loot, use gravitation potions. If ur tryna get stars, build a bridge like that but closer to the ground. This may be used for skeletron prime and the twins, so honestly it would help you a ton as a newbie.
Also, you can do the fishing spot, but if you aren't looking to do the angler quests, it's a slight waste of time. You may as well create one of those underground, by simply finding several water spots near each other, and mix them. (Blow them up to leak into one big area) it would give you better loot, for simply "passing" the time. You can get the fish that are used to make endurance potions underground, and even better, if you are able to predict where the hollow will end up, make a fishing spot there to get the prismarine fish or whatever they're called for the lifeforce potion. I think that's what it is called... (If you don't know, endurance potions gives you like 10% less damage or something, suuuper good, and the lifeforce potion gives you more health.) Those two, a Regen potion, ironskin potion, and speed potion or whatever it's called, make a killer mix. You can destroy basically anyhing with those things. To add onto that, you can use potions specific to your class. (Summon potion for more summons, archery potion, etc.)
If you got questions, I can prolly answer them. Also, the terraria wiki is insanely helpful, it can help you make and do basically anything. Make sure to use the guide in game too, to figure out tips and to know what you need to build things.
