- As a good friend once told me, when you sit in the nose of the Boeing 747, you arrive at your destination before the pilots!
Welcome onboard this classic 90's First Class cabin on Asiana Airlines' last remaining Boeing 747-400, HL7428. We're taking flight OZ711 for the 2-hour hop from Seoul Incheon to Taipei Taoyuan, sitting right in the nose of the 747, Seat 1K! Like stepping into a time machine, this iconic and nostalgic experience is complemented by Asiana’s top-quality onboard service.
Follow me as I take you through all aspects of the journey, heading from central Seoul out to Incheon on the AREX Line and making it through Asiana’s Premium Check-In facility, with a quick stop at the Business Lounge. Then it’s time to board the Queen of the Skies, to enjoy a spacious and comfortable flight over to Taipei with delicious Korean cuisine along the way. Great crew, a fantastic retro seat and a chance to explore this beautiful aircraft.

This is such a magnificent video with really informative commentary. Thanks for transporting me back to the 747, the last time I flew on it was in the 1990s; brings back memories for an old bloke like me!
Wow, it still has those water dispensers I used to love when I was a kid! Lovely video :) I hope to film at least one 747 video for my channel (either Korean Air or Lufthansa) in the next few years.
