The Middle Class is already destroyed. It’s just rich and poor now.
I don't feel poor, but I'm not rich...
And hopefully viewers especially those watching Kevin's content can work hard, save and invest to get out of lower/middle class in the long run.
Back to kings and peasant society
Not yet man, but it’s getting there.
Nah
"it's called the AMERICAN DREAM because you need to be asleep to believe it."

Kevin, I was the lady at your Arizona presentation who asked numerous questions. Your insights directly addressed my concerns. Thank you!
There hasn't been a middle class in 20 years my guy
60 plus hours a week killing myself for over 21 years and I can't afford to live in America!!!🤬😢
END the system END the FED and the treasury, shrink government!! They're way over there skis.
How much more money could we keep on our checks if we'd quit sending it overseas to everyone!!!!
You can do all what you said and it won't change anything. We have to change spiritually we have to be humble we have to stop being greedy this isn't just the government THIS IS GREED FROM EVERYONE INCLIDING CORPORATIONS THEY JUST USING INFLATION AS AN EXCUSE. HOW IS THE WORKING CLASS STRUGGLING BUT CORPORATIONS ARE MAKING RECORD PROFITS. 1% CONTROLLING 99% OF THE WEALTH WONT EVER WORK. IT DONT MATTER WHOS PRESIDENT UNTIL WE AS A PEOPLE CHANGE NOTHING CHANGES. STOP FOCUSING ON DISTRACTIONS AND CHANGE WHAT YOU COULD CHANGE. YOU AND I ARE JUST AS MUCH PART OF THE PROBLEM CUZ WE SLAVED FOR LOW WAGES UNLIKE THE BOOMERS WHO MOBILIZED AND USED THEIR LABOR AS A BARGAINING TOOL FOR BETTER PAY.
BUT REPUBLICANS HATE UNIONS THAT PROTECT EMPLOYEE BUT REPUBLICANS HATE THAT TOO YALL ARE CONFUSING 😂😂
@@LarryLaRue2022 I agree and I really don't see any point in paying the treasonous government taxes anymore either. Can't even take care of our own people but we want to take care of the world. As the rest of the world is de globalizing and wants nothing to do with us except they want our money😢
Or get a better job 🤷🏽♂️
A lot of us feel this way
Buying a house is one thing,.... maintaining it is completely more challenging. The expense, the time, the decisions, the rip offs.... does not make for a simple, peaceful existence.
💯. I can’t do it any more. Sold and am renting now. I get accused of throwing money away, but all I see is people working on their houses ..
The I can buy a house if I can afford rent is wrong for these reasons.
They forget all the other expenses other than the base payment.
Yup. Hot water heaters are $4k these days. A roof $20k. Sewer line $10k. Maybe buy a new build every 10 years before stuff goes wrong
They're both money pits, homes just require more upfront cash as a money pit than renting which slowly chips away more over time
When an upper middle class employee loses its job, it's a matter of a few months to get into poverty.
The middle class has been paycheck to paycheck for at least 10 years!
The middle class has been getting absolutely fucked since dollar went off the gold standard.
The worse thing about this is that workers who stay with a struggling company
who cuts their pay can no longer count on the company when it starts to do better
rewarding the loyalty of workers who stayed with them during the hard times.
The only way to retire in America is by paying off your home and credit cards before retiring.
I’m not even in the bottom class apparently! I just found out fast food workers make more than me.
Then switch jobs. That’s the easiest pay increase mf
41,600 a year that's full time at 20 bucks an hour here in CA
Damn you need to bump that shit up😢
@@350zLeMans But do most fast food employees work 40 hours a week?
@@les0101s no they don't u have to work multiple fast food jobs I work in manufacturing and have multiple jobs
And we’re taxed at over 50%. No way out.
Hey Kevin I totally agree. I was a GM and business owner most of my career. I always stressed to my apprentices and my five daughters. You have to make your self valuable, learn, move up and out work everyone around you. Thanks for all you do!
What middle-class? There's poor.. and then there's Meet Kevin.
Oh….. I thought you were gonna say that there is “Poor”……and then there is
REALLY! REALLY!! POOR!…🤷♂️
Is he even rich or just up to his eyeballs in debt?
I graduated in 2023 with an IT degree, certification, and have some portfolio projects on my resume. I am completely locked out of getting any entry level tech job. Companies would rather hire someone with 5 years experience for a beginner role or not hire at all.
Middle class own most of the weapons!🎯
Ok you heard it! Thank you Starbucks! No more 6 dollar coffee for the middle class folks! Open the small town coffee shops again! I’ll pay them 6 bucks!
Tough times but focus on the positives folks. Don’t buy into negative media.
The average income to buy an average home in American is over $115k/year … what middle class
Love Kevin’s commitment to proper grammar - in addition to his stellar analysis 🤩
Depends on your field of work. In my industry HVAC we are constantly either hiring or looking to hire and raise have been steady at 3% or more per year plus commissions
The Big Stay, for sure. Also the Big Stay Home is here. Restaurant Industry is about to get crushed, combination of high prices and Tipflation is causing this. Make no Miistake.
Did anyone remember Quiznos subs? Will the same thing happen to Starbucks? Ouch.
The stronger a middle class, the more freedoms a society has. A middle class is a diversification of power.
Which middle class? A family of 4 making 90K used to be middle class. Now barely scraping by. What’s really middle class now?
The middle class may be over. Complete bifurcation of economic structures. For some time I believe 50% of purchase power has been lost over the last 4 years
They forgot to cook the books before they released the numbers this time
change, anyone have some spare change
OBAMAAAAA
This is what a bunch of people keep voting for 🤷♂️ as if these people make chamge when they don't do shit for the american people.
Every time I listen to this guy he just makes me worry more and more about the economy, thanks!
Peloton choose not to participate in lowering prices because they were a premium brand lmao
It’s nice to see Kevin finally see the forest though the trees. A lot of people have been saying it’s coming and the economy is not good.
“About” 😆
By the way as a former bls employee the secretary of labor gets the releases a day or two before so it’s no surprise the fed can get it too
When I lived in Iran saw how the country changed as a kid middle class got slammed and you were either rich or poor. I’m seeing the same trends here in USA it’s becoming like other countries you just have rich or poor
100% agree Kev. 11 year UPS driver here in Florida. Slowly volume is falling off. You can actually notice when people get disability and social security checks. They ask senior drivers if they want the day off without pay and give less senior drivers a longer day. Kinda scary
A family of four making $130k is barely getting by in most places in the United States unless they already own a home and have a low mortgage payment.
That is exactly what is happening in the job market Kevin!!!!!!! Experienced workers have to cut their salaries by 60% to get a job!!!!!!!!!
Let’s see what this El Niño year does to crops before we rule out a 2nd wave of inflation.
“Nothing but ego” Should have put a pic of Jason up lmao
Or another member of the pod who isn't even involved 😂
Yes Starbuck is screwed because of ego and ignorance of local coffee ☕ markets, Starbucks might need to shutdown some shops because of local coffee competitions 😢🎉😢😢😢
The CEO seems to have forgotten they just sell coffee, milk and sugar. It's fancy but not premium.
Be interesting to see if they stick with the high prices or remember what they actually sell an look at pricing.
No one can predict the future but still a great analysis man.
It’s already destroyed what’s next.
Honestly, this is probably one of your best synopsis that you’ve done I see almost everything you said
Everyone already knows that. No one and nothing is liquid to where it should be. Everything's bankrupt and passing around the same one dollar bill fifty times and saying that it's raining cash. On the Bright side, a plane can only crash once so enjoy the trip.
The middle has been getting screwed kev..
yep :(
by themselves
@@rich7331 Had to admit, the impulsive credit spending got me
@@rich7331 Explain?
💯 remaining successful is seeing beyond the curve...prepare now
Could it be that unemployment is so low and people don’t switch jobs as much and they stay in the current jobs for various reasons, including cost of moving to a different place because of housing
Hey, where is Tubbs? LOL
Great video. Kept nodding my head in agreement. Scary times for middle class.
The Fed is excited if they think people will start losing their jobs and homes and maybe their retirement accounts. And if salaries go down. This is what they've been working towards.
Aren't these the job numbers that get heavily revised from month to month?
There hasn’t been a middle-class now for years.
From what I recall you mentioned several times that you expected JPOW would be hawkish 60/40 not neutral. Just say’n..love your show!
Already happened man. Can't buy a house unless you pull in $500k per year or more.
Lol
sadly i think it's going to worsen
$500k would just be enough for the interest.
you must live in NYC or San Fran.
Thank you Kevin always dropping facts and knowledge
Love your show Kev
Kevin, it is great how you say "Randstad¨. I love it.
😁
Trolling Grant Cardone hilarious keep on doing it
The middle class don't have 'jobs'. They're small business owners or they have a very good job/career.
Jerome transitioned to Jenny. Got it.
The only way inflation is ever defeated is by hurting the labor market. Its a tough truth
Sounds exciting. Maybe I am ready for it
idk starbucks is super expensive comparatively speaking in europe and the US so why can't they do it in Asia?
About to… have been screwed more like it
I’m already part of the population that’s fallen through the cracks in this country, surviving on a 9-5 for most of the population is just about over…and Folks if you think you work a lot now…you better buckle up…cause your about to find out what it really is like to work…from the time you wake up until you can’t keep your eyes open…
This topic seem very similar to what I touched on in this mornings chat :) 👍🤔
In regards to the supply chain, I commented on one of your videos last year about retailers and wholesalers completely cutting purchase orders.
That means many companies are not gambling on keeping stock of products.
If demand for products tick up even slightly, it would be easy to face shortages again and therefore reigniting inflation.
Thoughts?
That's going to be pretty curious for all the programmers in Silicon Valley signing up for $15K per month house payments.
Legit consider moving out of the country, but I’ll wait to see if trump can make things a bit better. I’m already making inroads elsewhere though. The economy is generally screw up all over the place, but I’m simply looking for potential opportunity and a somewhat decent culture.
Why not, our ancestors left somewhere and came here when their country went to crap. Now this country is going to crap so it's time to move on somewhere else.
Where though? I can’t figure out anywhere that has better tax treatment on U.S. based income. Wherever you go, the tax man cometh.
I gave a call to a certain call service center on Monday morning and a operator said to me “Have a nice weekend“. She was time traveling to imaginary weekend. Ledgendary response. I love her boldness.
BIG Kevin always looking out for the little guy 🙃
Did you factor this in when you bought back into TSLA?
nice trade bro
Socialism at it's finest.
How is it socialism it's capitalism at its finest. Perfect greed the way capitalize it. 1% controls 99% of the wealth. What stupid ass European system. Common sense will tell you 1% controlling everything will never work. If people ever wake up and revolt and get tired of being modern day slaves the system will crash. People tired of giving 50 years of they life to make some old rich white guy richer. It makes no sense.
ill gladly promise you security today for your freedoms tomorrow
How is killing the middle class socialism? Please explain!
The thing is, you get neither security today nor freedoms tomorrow
In terms of move to cash, wouldn’t you still want to hold onto stocks like Enphase you’ve acquired at a low cost basis avg?
@meetkevin would you suggest going out and starting a business during these potentially difficult times? Some context…City worker eligible for retirement (collecting pension). Or stay put? And build on the side?
100% correct Kev, I believe the public lag of tighten-up will be prompt. Powell will need to act fast to prevent a hart freefall landing...IMO
Where is the discorrrd link?
In 2021 the middle class was show the door.
Brought to you by Biden and Co in 2021
This 'feels' like the right observation - like a forward-looking trend. It's fact-based and comfortably leans against the mainstream consensus for the last 1-2 years. It's hard to explain, but this feels like the 'next step' in the economic cycle.
What brokerage is that Webull?
remember when KEvin put out that video 2 fridays ago when he was on a black syke lol
They have been getting worked over for past 2yrs
At 8:11 - that was just too funny - love it!
There is no wealth being built since a long time. The amount people work doesn't reflect what they own. Its by design.
The market is bipolar 😂😂
I realize I am middle class but after this video I realize I'm poor 🥴
Kevin is even better and genuine in person. He even talked to my small boys at the meeting in Boston. Proud course member here
Yep, I met him in Miami and thought he would be pretentions and he's as nice as he is in the videos. It was great chatting with him and picking his brain for a second. The whole team was really nice!
lol with the grant cardon snippit!
Half a mill profit on TSLA calls crazy..
I guess it’s a good thing most of us are already poor 🤷♂️
It’s the opposite finally the jobs number were finally reflection of the eroding jobs number
You forgot to mention Chipotle in the group with McDonald's, Costco, etc.
I'm liking the MIAMI VICE, DON JOHNSON look Kevin! 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
Everyone is underpaid by a minimum of 40 % something has to give either prices come down or employers have to pay more
From what I’ve seen, it seems like the floor has been raising though - lack of supply in blue collar jobs is causing wages to go up
You forget the psychology of norms. People being paying that price for a cup of coffee everyday. They will keep buying at that price everyday.
What middle class?
Suggestion: MAYBE if you told us the BAD news in a GOOD way, it won't seem so BAD... How bout that?!
It’s nice to you because you’re rich! Lol
