- Neil Diamond Live at Madison Square Garden in NYC on his 50th anniversary tour performing a very heartfelt "Brooklyn Roads" followed by his more recent hit "Pretty Amazing Grace."
What a great song about his childhood, Loved the pictures...watching great parents who loved their kids. I always cry when I listen to him sing it.
The only voice, the only song that made me cry. It never, never happened before. That song, the way he feels it, the way he loved that period in his precious Brooklyn, the love for his parents. All that nostalgy is so evident and so touching ! No one like Neil Diamond to express it so well. I really LOVE that song ...
I'm from Brooklyn, Bay Parkway. Neil grew up on Ocean Parkway, about ten minutes from where I did. This song always touches my soul.
Beautiful since childhood!
This song as always touched my heart for some reason, and New York City is the last place that I, personally, would ever want to live. But, Neil takes you into his childhood, which leads me into my own memories of my own happy childhood, with the sincerity of his music. You can feel what he feels and you can feel the love that his family felt toward each other. Absolutely magical, even without the video to ice the cake with.
A true legend singing and those background clips really pinches my tear glands. Thank you Neil for all the beautiful songs and memories you have given to us. May you live long. Love and respect.

I went to his concert few days ago this the home movies was a great addition to the magic of the night ! God he puts on a great show ! Thanks for posting this I can relive it again !!

Thank you so much for recording and sharing this. I, too, was at this very show and knew then it would be the last concert of his that I'd be privileged enough to attend. His music is literally the soundtrack to all 50 years of my life... and I thank my parents for that!
