Now feels like a good time to mention something about Dread. As pleased as I was to see- Oh, hang on. *SPOILERS!*
As pleased as I was to see the return of the X parasite, I was just *ecstatic* to find that bosses did that thing where they become an X with a protective barrier and violently "attract" to you. Such a fun and satisfying way to call back to Fusion.
