It would be incredibly funny if Retro's way to deal with 18 years of speculation on who or what Sylux is by answering literally nothing about him and then continuing to do this for the entire second trilogy, not even killing him off or redeeming him or even explaining what he's trying to accomplish. He just becomes that completely inexplicable guy who does unknowable things for incomprehensible reasons. More seriously: I hope they never kill him off. Metroid needs more reoccurring secondary characters who aren't disposed of after their arc besides Ridley.
I mean not every needs a redemption or should have a redemption, it entirely depends on who the character is, what their appeal is and their fundamental purpose and inspiration as a whole.
@@DerangedGodOfMischief i know. I just think people obsess too much about redemption arcs which for Sylux depends on who he turns out to be from the little we currently know about him.
In addition to Sylux, I hope to see Weavel again. Out of the Hunters, he was the only one who had a past with Samus and it would be sick to see him team up with Sylux in an attempt to finally exact his revenge. Plus he's a badass Cyborg Space Pirate, hard to go wrong with that concept
To be honest, every one of them have solid reason to appear. Except maybe Spire. Trace, Weavel and Kanden would definitely be out for revenge. And Noxus, being zealous peacekeeper, would want to stop Sylux.

I don't know how to explain it but Sylux's theme sounds so menacing. Almost like something you'll hear from a situation that chance of survival is 0%. Like how in every Metroid game, you have to run from the exploding planet. It's intense and has you on the edge of your seat. All I can say is Metroid Prime 4 is going to be incredible.

@lucasfraczek4320 There's a really old Nintendo comic, it tells a story of Samus as a kid with her brother on her home planet, before the Space Pirates attacked. The whereabouts of her brother is unclear (but sadly the comic isn't canon tho)
They better bring his og theme back for this game lol (doesn't have to be one to one, like how meta ridley's theme is an altered version of his og one)
I admire your skill in creating such an orchestral arrangement in the two weeks since the Nintendo Direct on June 18. I am very pleased with the extremely gorgeous perfection, mixing in phrases from the Prime 4 trailer when Sylux appeared, and phrases from the Metroid titles. Thank you so much!
Absolutely incredible! V1 was already an amazing rendition, but the way you made this one sound almost horror-like with the strings in some sections, plus the implementation of the guitar from the MP4 trailer... Gahhh, it's so good!!!

@@jangofett1172 Yeah he yields so much potencial... Just off of the few things I remember I can imagine a story like: He was a high ranking GF scientist working on cutting edge prototypes for weapons suits and ships when his facility on Cylosis was attacked by some invaders (Kriken, Space Pirates, whatever... ) At that point the GF panicked and did not want the prototypes in their enemies' hands so they send orders to the defense forces to just blow it all up. But Sylux did not want his life work destroyed. He got himself the best suit and weapon and then went berserk on the Federation troopers sent to destroy his work. (Sorta like the Hunters intro) After this he stole the Delano 7 and escaped. Feeling utterly betrayed by his own people he now layed low and plotted revenge, perhaps working as a freelance bounty hunter, evading GF officials, who believed him and all his work/coworkers to have been lost in the chaos of that invasion. Then he heard about the "ultimate power" in the Alimbic Cluster and saw his chance for revenge: He went and got beaten up by Samus as we got to see. Somehow surviving the end, (I hope there is a good explanation for that, we saw Gorea suck the life out of all Hunters after all) he now holds and especially strong hatered for Samus explaining why he tracked after her in particular in the end of Prime 3 and why he went to her enemies to plot anew. I literally just made all of that up lol and I hope a good writer can do better XD
