- This video is the premier of the Cougar build! You see me retrieve this car from my brother's house where it broke down, get it running again, do a burnout, weigh the car, and get base line information prior to our upgrades!! Tons more to come as I am extremely excited to build this one! Fun fact, my very first car in high school was a 1997 Mercury Cougar. Stay tuned for all the little, but very important and intricate details I do to make this the car that Ford should have let Mercury make!

That is a Two Stroke conversion candidate bro. Make that thing scream and fly !
You're going to need a 12 bay garage added on to that 2 bay soon. You could just sell the house and buy an abandoned car mechanic shop. I'm sure your wife would love living in an old mechanic shop.
Looks like a fun project! The AJE is a must, but finding a front swaybar to work will be a problem.
2v would have ripped for another 25 years!! But the 4v mark motor will be fun!!
Also The fox chassis thunderbirds and cougars are much lighter..
I wonder if she may have hit a deer. There are tons in GA. I've had one jump at the last second and land on my hood. Thankfully I had braked so hard the car was down to about 20 and nose diving. Kept it out of my windshield too.
I'm a simple weirdo, i see a ford from the era where ford peaked and i click
My grandma drove a dark red one of these for years until she got a Saturn
